William F. Cody (Buffalo Bill) Boots Its been said these boots had belonged to Buffalo Bill and were used during the Wild West Show days. We have confirmed with the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody Wyoming that they are the style and size worn by Buffalo Bill but there is no further provenance to support this. Boots are all leather with stitched tops and mule ear pulls (missing outside pull on right boot). Size is approximately 9 - 9.5 with nailed soles and heels. The boots came with a pair of spurs..In overall good condition. See photos.

Knights Templar Fraternal Sword & Regalia

A fraternal sword and accompanying regalia for Robert W. Whitmore, a member of the 24th Ivanhoe Commandery of the Knights Templar fraternal organization. Sword has a straight 28" etched blade named "Robert W. Whitmore". Sword is etched on both sides and made by the Henderson Ames Co.. Blade is in excellent condition. Some minor tarnishing to knight's head pommel. Comes with scabbard housed in leather carry bag. Accompanying regalia comes in named leather case and includes a uniform, a feathered cap, a standard cap, and a belt. Uniform jacket is in excellent condition. Feathered cap is shedding feathers and comes with feather cover. Standard cap is in overall good condition. Belt leather has some minor age cracking present. A very neat collection from a Knights Templar fraternity member. See photos.

Scrap Metal Art Cowboy

The Chacoengsao Province of Thailand is world renowned for it’s colony of Scrap Metal Artists. Using metal automotive scrap such as gears, chains, spark plugs, pistons, and struts, these artists create one of a kind sculptures that get attention. Many commercial facilities display this art in gardens, fountains, and hotel lobbies just to name a few. Some of their art includes life size automobiles, Predator creature figures, and giant fish. These larger than life figures sell in the $15,000 - $20,000 range, plus shipping from Thailand. This cowboy sculpture, one of 3 being sold, was commissioned in the 1990’s and shipped to the United States. All three sculptures laid forgotten in their shipping crates in a warehouse in Summit, Illinois until the spring of 2021 when they were re discovered and the owner, who now lives in Hawaii, was contacted. Each sculpture is unique measuring 7’-8” tall and weighing about 300 lbs. It comes apart in 5 pieces, head, torso, legs, and arms. Would make a great statement in your bar or restaurant or Gun Shop.

Measures 38 ¾” overall, sword in scabbard. Made 1940 era. Beautiful hamon with deep temper at the point. The handle is tight fit, tsuka-ito brown wrapping over ray skin, nice snug fit on sword in scabbard, see photos.

An Imperial Japanese Army tunic with shoulder boards indicating an equivalent rank of Private 1st class. Inside of tunic is marked with Kanji characters both ink stamped and handwritten on inner left side. Inside of jacket has numerous minor stains. Right cuff has some tears at ends. No collar insignia present. Right shoulder board has rank insignia hanging onto board by a thread. Attached to inside of collar is a white band with several characters marked in green on it. A WWII vet bring back of a German pith helmet. The pith helmet is one of the most iconic parts of the Afrikakorps of the German army. Although they were not solely used in Africa, these helmets were used a must have for hotter climates. This appears to be the more uncommon first pattern helmet. Leather chin strap and brim are present but have some worn paint. Inside the band is marked "No. 57 ORL 1942" for the size of 57 and the maker code ORL. Band also has a stamp on the outside. The number 7 is marked on the front on the red cloth. Aside from the paint wear on the lather, this helmet is in very good condition. Includes both of the shield decals as it should that have minimal wear. This helmet came from a WWII vet and has been in his family ever sense. See photos.

A rare and uncommon M41 field cap as used by the Deutsches Afrika Korps. Cap bears a sewn Afrika Korps eagle above a sewn cockade flanked with a dark blue inverted V soutache. These soutaches were deleted from the caps in mid 1942 though this cap still bears its soutache. Inside of cap is an orange red cotton twill with a pair of ink stamps with the legible ink stamps reading "56" for size and "1942" for date. The other ink stamp for manufacturer has faded into illegibility. Cap still retains its tropical olive green color with some fading at the top of the crown and bill. Some minor staining present on the inside of the cap. A very nice example of a desirable Afrika Korps M41 field cap. Came from a veteran's family. See photos.

A German Heer dress dagger with scabbard made by Robert Klaas of Solingen. Dagger features a 10" bright blade with ricasso stamped "Robt. Klaas/Solingen" beneath a kissing crane logo. Blade has pointy tip and edge is free of nicks and chips. Blade has some minor scratches and wear from being in and out of scabbard. Nickel silver cross guard has some minor tarnishing and wear to finish. One piece grip is in good condition with no chips or cracks. Oak leaf decorated pommel is in good condition, ferrule appears thoroughly tarnished. Scabbard retains both hanging rings and has some wear and tarnishing though is dent free. An overall good example of a German Heer dress dagger. Came from a veteran's family. See photos.

A WWII German Red Cross dagger complete with scabbard. The Deutsches Roten Kreuz-Subordinate Hewer features a 10.5'' long, broad, blunt-tipped polished steel blade with deep, wide fullers and a staggered saw-toothed spine. Thick brown leather washer is present; crossguard langets and pommel retain the majority of their nickel/silver-plated finish. The obverse vertically oval langet has a raised smooth outer edge encompassing an embossed second pattern DRK style national eagle. The hewer has black bakelite grips held in place by two counter-sunk screws that appear untouched. The obverse grip features a repeating diamond-grooved pattern and the reverse grip is plain. Dagger comes with original black painted steel scabbard with matte nickel/silver-plated upper and lower fittings. The scabbard body retains 90% of its black enamel paint with some minor scuffs and wear to both sides. Frog stud paint is worn off. Overall a very nice, desirable German Red Cross dagger. A WWII German bayonet for a K98k rifle. Bayonet has matching scabbard and original frog. Ricasso is marked "41 cos" on one side and numbered "1405f". 10" blade retains majority of blued finish with some finish loss near the tip from coming in and out of scabbard. Blade edge shows no signs of sharpening and has no nicks or chips. Tip is sharp and pointy. Bakelite handles are in good condition with no chips or cracks. Pommel is marked with 2 "Eagle/WaA 883". Pommel and flash shield have some patches of stopped rusting. Scabbard has some wear to finish. Frog is in very good condition and is soft and supple. A nice WWII German bayonet. See photos.

A bayonet for the German K98k made in 1943. 10" blued blade is in very good condition with minor finish wear from scabbard use. Ricasso is marked "cof/43" on one side and numbered "3995/m" on other side. Blade edge is free of nicks and chips and tip is pointy though slightly worn. Wood grips are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Pommel is marked "Eagle/WaA51" and "Eagle/WaA6(1/4)9". No scabbard present. A very nice example of a mid war K98k bayonet minus scabbard. See photos.

A Yugoslavian M24/30 sword bayonet originally used with the M24 mauser used by Yugoslavia. Bayonet was captured by Germans during WWII and reworked into a German style with muzzle ring removed and blade blued, serving as a S.109(j) (Seitengewehr 109 Jugoslawien). Scabbard and ricasso marked with triangle "BT3" indicating manufacture by Vojno Technicki Zavad (Military Technical Institute at Kragujevac, Serbia). 15" blued blade is in very good condition with a pair of wear lines in finish from scabbard use. Blade edge is free of nicks and chips and tip is sharp and pointy. Wood grips are in very good condition with minor handling wear. Pommel has some minor finish loss and latch operates fine. Matching scabbard is in overall good condition with some wear on finish throughout. A nice example of an uncommon German reworked bayonet. See photos.

We have been notified that this banner is a banner from the Powszechna Wystawa Krajowa (Polish General Exhibition), an industrial fair held in Poznan, Poland and first held in 1929. Bid accordingly!

WWII German Reichsluftschutzbund Flag

A WWII vet bring back of a German Reichsluftschutzbund Standarte flag. The Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) was the National Air Raid Protection League that was in charge of air raid precautions from 1933-1945. Founded by Hermann Goring, the league was made up of mostly volunteers and in 1939, it detached from the government to become a QUANGO organization meaning it was no longer par of the Nazi party but was still partially funded by it. On the top left and right corner is some identification of where the flag was from. "LGr Nordbngern OKG Hof". LGr abbreviated to National Group, Nordbngern meaning Northern Bavaria, OKG meaning district group and Hof being the town in Bavaria, Germany. The town of Hof was taken over by US troops on April 15, 1945. This flag was taken by a vet, most likely from around that date and has been in the vet's family since. Flag comes with 7 flag pole rings and a clip. There are a few small pin holes throughout the surfaces but no major damage. Small area of discoloration on a few of the petals of the star burst pattern on one side. Overall, this flag is in very good condition with a great history behind it. Not many are seen. Measures 44"W x 44"T.

A mid to late war produced German M36 tunic with several decorations present. Tunic is of a later construction with 6 button holes and 5 buttons (one is missing). Tunic has an earlier bottle green collar present with standard Heer collar tabs. Shoulder boards have no piping and are standard feld grau. Upper left breast pocket has black wound badge and second button hole from top has a second class Iron Cross ribbon and an Ostfront medal ribbon. Tunic retains the sewn eagle insignia above the right top breast pocket. Tunic is worn and weathered with some minor fading to color on edges and some minor stains. Came from a veteran's family. An honest example of a German Heer tunic that saw some use. See photos.

Jacket is in excellent condition with all sleeve patches. Hanging loop on the inside neck is ripped but that appears to be the only flaw. Measures 17" from shoulder to shoulder and 17" from shoulder to bottom.

Tunic has Luftwaffe breast eagle on right side and Hermann Goring cuff title on right side with Obergefreiter rank insignia and flak patch on left sleeve. Iron cross second class ribbon on second from top bottom and Luftwaffe ground assault badge on upper left breast pocket. Collar tabs and shoulder boards are present. Jacket is in overall very good condition. Cap has Luftwaffe eagle on front with inside ink stamped "La Co/3088/1943/58". Cap is slightly dirty on inside from sweat stains. Tunic and cap did not come from a WWII veteran or WWII veteran's family so authenticity is unknown. Measures 17"W at shoulders x 30" in overall height. See photos.

A jacket bearing the WWII Luftwaffe insignia for an Oberst. Jacket has a small tag marked "17" and a partial large "A" on inner left side. A German Mutterkreuz (Mother's Cross) in gold with ribbon and case. The cross was awarded to German women who had given birth to a certain number of children and the award had 3 tiers. Bronze crosses were awarded to mothers of 4 children, silver crosses to mothers of 6 children, and gold crosses to mothers of 8 or more children. This cross has the golden decor and ring around the swastika with the front reading "Der Deutschen Mutter". The back has the date of "16 December 1938". The bottom left corner of the cross has a chip in the enamel otherwise cross is in good condition. Inside of case is marked "C.E.Juncker, Berlin". Cross has correct narrow blue and white neck ribbon that is slightly darkened with age. See photos.

WWII German Organisation Todt Belt Buckle

Lot #890a (Sale Order 316 of 827)

An uncommon, steel belt buckle for a member of Organisation Todt, the government run civil and military engineering organization of the Third Reich. The organization would manage the Autobahn project until the beginning of WWII, where the mission of the organization was more focused towards the war effort with the construction of the Atlantic Wall as well as concentration camps. Forced labor would become increasing more used as the war went on. The organization's head, Fritz Todt, would die in a plane crash on February 8, 1942 with the organization being run by Albert Speer after Todt's death. The buckle features a central roundel with an oak wreathed crossed shovels and sword emblem, on which is superimposed a German Reichsadler, above a German concrete bunker. Back of buckle is marked "Org. Todt" in a circle under the post sleeve. Buckle is in overall very good condition with some minor oxidation on prongs and post sleeve. A very uncommon belt buckle. Austrian Empire Imperial Eagle Document Seal

A document seal of the Imperial Eagle of the Austrian Empire contained in a stylized brass tray with lid. The dual headed eagle is beautifully detailed with all of the trademark features of the Austrian coat of arms present such as the two crowns for each head of the eagle, the sword clutched in the eagle's right talons, the shield on the eagle's chest featuring the rampant lion, the crown jewel orb in the left talons, and the large crown above the eagle's heads. Surrounding the eagle is Latin text reading "Franciscus Josephus I ..."Franz Joseph I was the emperor of the Austro-Hungarian empire and would remain emperor until his death in 1916. This seal would have been attached to a massive document it was used on with linen cord on the top of the tin and have the various seals of counts and dukes hanging below it. Wax seal is in excellent condition with clear distinct detail. Tin is in excellent condition. A must have for any collector of Austro-Hungarian history or European history. Exterior case diameter 4 3/4" and interior seal are is 4 1/8". See photos.
