1995 Jaguar XJS Lot #F22-124 (Sale Order 19 of 86) 1995 Jaguar XJS V12
This rare Jaguar XJS V12 convertible is one of 78 imported to the U.S. and one of 89 produced worldwide documented by Mike Cook, Jaguar North America archivist. It is Brooklands Green with tan interior and top. Carfax reports that it was sold new in Atlanta and has had just three owners. The current owner took possession in 2004 at 63,000 miles. Over the past 18 years it has averaged 2,300 miles per year.
The massive 6 litre V12 is paired with a four speed automatic transmission. Ford bought Jaguar in the early nineties and greatly improved the quality and reliability of the XJS over the next four years. 1995 was the last year of the top of the line XJS V12 cars and the Ford refinements make it a joy to drive with smooth, rapid acceleration, superb handling and a top speed 161 mph.
Creature comforts abound with standard power steering, power brakes, power windows, power top and air conditioning. This XJS has every option offered: headlamp power wash, factory Alpine stereo radio and CD player, power, heated seats with lumbar support, limited slip differential, touring suspension, cruise control, trip computer, space saver spare and alarm system. To distinguish the V12 cars from the standard 6 cylinder version, only the V12 came with 20 spoke cast diamond wheels, color keyed door mirrors, boot spoiler, piped seats, inlaid interior wood, the gold Jaguar hood emblem and subtle V12 badging.
After a few years in Atlanta this Jag was used as a fun car at the owners vacation homes in Bedford, New York and Naples. It has been well maintained since new with receipts available since 2004 and a clean Carfax. This 27 year old car is entirely original. Bodywise, the clear coat on the hood has begun to deteriorate. It would be stunning with the repair of minor dings and fresh paint. The special V12 wheels also need refinishing. The chrome, interior and convertible top are very good. The top works perfectly.
Mechanically, it doesn’......t smoke or use oil, never overheats (even in the Naples summer with A/C on) and runs strong. The transmission shifts like a new car, the suspension and steering are tight and all accessories work. The A/C blows cold. The ABS light comes on from time to time which I am told means a new sensor is required. Proof that this is a genuine British car is evident by a few oil leaks under the car.
This is the last of The Big Cats. It is a luxurious yet sporty convertible that is fun to drive. For investment purposes, it is the right color combination, the last and best year with all of the Ford improvements and documented one of 78 making it extremely rare. XJS values are rising and the low production, final year V12 will continue to bring a premium.

Summary: This is a rust free, 98% original car. A few items were changed for reliability and function. This car is completely restored except for the paint, which does not require work at this time. The radio is not original, but the original ones were not very good, and no working ones are available. Speakers in the rear are new JBL speakers, mounted into original 1970 Jenson speaker enclosures, so it has a period correct appearance. Steering wheel is a leather wrapped Nardi wheel giving the driver a better grip. Ignition points and rotor were replaced with an electronic ignition unit that has the same appearance with improved reliability.

The Jaguar 420G offers a mix of E-Type technology with Rolls-Royce levels of luxury at a reasonable price
Mechanically, the Jaguar saloon shared much with its newly introduced stablemate, the E-Type. Under the hood was the DOHC six-cylinder that first appeared in the 1949 XK120, now upgraded to 265-horsepower, thanks to 3.8 liters of displacement, triple carburetors, and a straight-port cylinder head. In power-to-weight terms, then, the Mk X stacked up well--even exceeding the 1960 Lincoln, despite its 430-cu.in. V-8 powerplant.
In 1967, Jaguar re-crafted the MK X into the 420G with minor trim and interior differences. The new name was a direct answer to Mercedes's three-digit nomenclature with "G" appended for "Grand" to differentiate the flagship Jaguar from its smaller 420 Sports Saloon sibling, derived from the S-Type. The changes and name switch failed to revive interest in the aging design, however, and Jaguar managed to move only another 5,763 units before production was discontinued in 1970.
With the 420G, luxury features were in abundance as well. In addition to the automatic transmission, power steering was made standard. The Connolly leather seats reclined in front and both front and back seats offered folding central arm rests.
The price for the 420G was a sensible $7,384. It even attracted the attention of one Richard "Red" Skelton, who purchased this 1967 420G directly from the factory and had it refinished in a custom shade of maroon dubbed "Skelton Red" from its original opalescent Desert Tan hue.
Restoration of this special 420G to a street-and-show example included numerous invisible upgrades: stainless exhaust, 15-inch wheels and radial tires from a Series II XJ6, external mirrors from the same car and an upgraded audio system. The car was professionally stripped and repainted in 2009 at a cost of $18,000. It is worth noting that the 14-inch wheels, hub caps, the original radio with its wood faceplate come with car. The 420G remains as one of the best-kept secrets in the Jaguar community as either a luxury driver or sleeper show car.
The specifications for the Skelton Red Jaguar include: DOHC 12-valve inline-six, cast-iron engine block and alloy cylinder head with a displacement of 3,781 cc (230.7-cu.in.)/4,235 cc (258.4-cu.in.) The horsepower output is 265 at 5,500 RPM/265 at 5,400 RPM with 260-lb.ft. of torque at 4,000 RPM / 283-lb.ft.) A compression ratio of 9.0:1 at 4,000 RPM. Three SU side draft carburetors with a Borg-Warner DG-series three-speed automatic with a 0 to 60 MPH at 10.6 seconds. A top speed of 115-118 MPH. The Jaguar’......s overall length measures 202 inches with a width of 76 inches, and a height of 54.5 inches. A wheelbase of 120 inches and a curb weight of 3,926 pounds.
The first owner was television and comedy legend Richard “......Red”...... Skelton. Purchased in Cathedral City, California on September 13, 1966. This special vehicle comes with the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Production Record Trace certificate #28522.
Car resided in California until 2007 and comes with all documentation of past maintenance from all three previous owners.

The 330 GTC is recognized as one of the best looking and driving Ferraris of the Enzo era. They are also rapidly appreciating with the last 3 sold on BAT bringing $598,000, $635,000 and$715,000. The combination of the muscular Columbo four litre V12, gated stick shift, rear mounted five speed synchro gearbox, disc brakes and independent suspension deliver the classic Ferrari essence. The Pininfarina bodywork is extremely good looking with influences of the 275GTS and the 400 SuperAmerica. Just 600 were built from 1966 to 1968
This car is a numbers matching example delivered new to Commendatore Pietro Ferraro, Italian business magnate and sportsman in Triest. It was imported to California in 1972 and its history since it left the factory is documented in the available Massini report which comes with the car. It was originally Grigio Fumo (smoke gray) with tan interior and factory air conditioning(no longer with the car but replaceable). The current owner acquired this car in its current red/black configuration 25 years ago with 23,487 miles, it now has 27,685 miles, per the Owner, which appears correct based on the Massini report.
Two years after purchase the transaxle was fine but the third gear synchros became noisy so it was totally rebuilt by John Hajduk’......s Motorcraft Ltd (3,500 miles ago.) The engine was strong and did not overheat in the Atlanta summers but it had one low cylinder so it was completely rebuilt by Rick Charles, formerly of John Appen’......s FAF and Teddy Rutlands in Atlanta, in 2011-2012. Over 90 color photos and 14 pages, document the comprehensive engine work. The Weber carbs were rebuilt by Pierce Manifolds of Gilroy, Ca. Since 2017, when the owner moved to Naples, the car has been maintained and improved exclusively by Eric Krukow at F1 in Naples. A detailed book of photos and 44 pages of receipts detailing the extensive work done since 1997 come with the car. The result is a very well sorted car, as other 330 GTC owners who have driven it will attest. Cool running and no exhaust smoke. That saves the new owner time and money, thus immediate enjoyment.
9963 has five Borrani wire wheels, new correct Michelin 205VR14 XWX tires in 2018, tool roll, jack roll, reprinted owners and shop manual, correct Becker radio (not working),original wood steering wheel, Italian air horns, correct headlights, stainless steel Stebro exhaust, power windows (with original switches modified for long life) and extensive suspension work and bushings. The seats and trunk are excellent with leather and wood as new. There is a modern alternator in the car but the original Lucas with bracket is included.
The chrome is acceptable but not show. Exterior paint is presentable with some small areas that have lifted along the beltline. The original color, Grigio Fumo is very desirable and would be a good choice if the new owner decides on fresh paint. The major expense of a fresh drive train done by Ferrari V 12 specialists is done. As an owner of many vintage cars, that is the hard (read expensive) part. The current owner is downsizing his collection due to age and seeking a new owner who will drive and enjoy this well sorted 330 GTC.
Owning and driving a reliable, tight Enzo era V12 Ferrari is the pinnacle for the true car hobbyist. The 330 GTC is often cited by connoisseurs as the best road going Ferrari and it ranks equally high in the looks category. It is more akin to putting a thoroughbred race horse through its paces than merely driving a car. The sounds, power, handling, and elegant design make it a must for any car persons bucket list. The removable doors, retractable soft top and folding windshield provided a driving experience unlike any other Volkswagen. The 181 has also spawned one of the more unusual models ever to wear the Volkswagen badge –...... the Acapulco Thing.
The Thing variant was specifically designed for two legendary, high-end resorts in Acapulco, a popular resort city in Mexico and destination du jour for Hollywood A-list celebrities in the 1960s and 1970s. As the Thing was assembled in Puebla, Mexico, the oceanfront hotels used the boxy beach cruiser to shuttle wealthy vacationers from the airport and the city’......s sun-kissed shoreline. The Acapulco Thing’......s popularity among the hotel’......s ritzy, jet-setting clientele led Volkswagen to produce a limited run of the resort cruiser –...... about 400 cars in total –...... from May to July of 1974.
Most of the Acapulco things were painted Blizzard White with blue accents on the rocker panels, running boards, bumpers, and dashboard, although Volkswagen also made versions with orange, red and yellow base colors. The car had removable side curtains on all four of its doors, and its seats were upholstered with blue nautical stripes, adding to its coastal look. The Thing’......s regular soft top could also be replaced by a seat-matching vinyl surrey top on a special high-profile tubular frame.
Available accessory options for the car at the time of purchase included a welded steel roll cage, a detachable fiberglass hardtop (with luggage rack), an outside spare tire carrier, a front bumper push bar, electric winch, a radio, front and rear trailer hitches, chrome sport wheels and under-dash air conditioning. The BMW Z1 was the first two-door roadster in the company's Z series, produced in limited numbers from 1989 to 1991 at its plant in Munich, Germany.
What makes the Z1 unique is the plastic body panels and its vertically sliding doors which recess into the door sills. The Z1's body panels and doors were constructed using General Electric's (GE) Xenoy thermoplastic. It is worth noting that the windows and doors are driven by electric motors via toothed rubber belts and the doors and windows may be moved manually.
Power comes from the M20 2.5L six-cylinder engine, producing 170 BHP mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The drive train is derived from BMW's 325i, making parts readily available.
This 1989 Z1 is one of only 8,000 built. BMW did not sell the Z1 in America; it is believed that less than 100 have been imported.
The car comes with a black canvas convertible top and is finished in BMW's Toprot red over a black leather and grey Nubuck interior. The car was originally sold in Germany and moved to Holland until it was imported into the U.S. in 2018.
The current owner acquired the Z1 in 2020 and had extensive work done to make it a reliable driver, including a new timing belt, the front wheel well liners were replaced, new tires and battery were installed, and all regular maintenance items performed.
