A used unit sparked and caught fire and thus caused damage to seven units. In order to complete the process of going through the insurance process and ultimate liquidation of these, these seven units must be sold through this auction. One of the units has significant damage to hubs and some hydraulics - specifics are listed for each item - but most only had slight heat and soot damage yet are also required to go through this process. Due to insurance regulations these trucks will carry “salvage” titles even though some are basically “new” (a couple are used). For this same reason Purpose nor Blackmon are able to offer any warranty on these items. Most components were not damaged (engines, transmissions, etc.) and therefore are likely available for warranty - Blackmon nor Purpose can guarantee that but can advise. Purpose Wrecker is cleaning and polishing what they can but are leaving the damage visible for the buyers to inspect - they will not fix the hydraulics on one of the heavys nor the hubs so you can see for yourself, and on most of the rollbacks the only damage was some warped visors and stained light bars which you will be able to see. “All photos were taken in the last few weeks.
