This is a good quality mount very similar to the other Texas Hill Country Buck. He was dinged up sparring during the Rut and this is normal during mid-November here in Central Texas. This one got a cut by an antler tine just under his left eye. The antlers are a little old and appear to have received a light coat of walnut stain. The taxidermy is excellent.

The Tsessebee, pronounced, "Sass-a-bee" is a very interesting Antelope found in Zimbabwe, the Northern Transvaal of South Africa, and parts of Botswana and Southern Zambia. This animal like the Hartebeest can change direction in an instant and run 65 m.p.h. when they need to. The mount is clean and in good condition.

The polished Deer Antler Knife has an African Lion with a long mane pictured on the handle. The blade was made by Ja Ged we believe from Germany. There is also a Elk engraved on one side of the blade.

These came from 15 to 18 foot Prehistoric Sharks.

This makes them very difficult to hunt. Very few African Hunters have a Suni.

My point is that by closing the hunting, it will probably cause more problems for the Wildlife. Poachers move in and no ones there to watch the herds. Also, China sure does use our resources a lot, but now we can't use theirs. Anyway, this is a mature Ram with excellent taxidermy and it is in excellent condition. These trophies from China will soon be hard to come by.

This Monster Rams horns measure 38 3/8" x 38 2/8" inches long around the curls! The bases are nice and thick measuring 9 7/8" x 10 2/8" inches around. The Ram has a small scar over its right eye from butting heads with other Rams. The beard is light because he was not taken in the late Fall or Winter. The taxidermy is very good and the mount is in very good condition with a good hanger. This Ram is more than likely Top 30 in Record of Exotics. This mount will make an awesome decoration!

We had the Point restored by one of the best in Artifact restoration. The restoration can be removed if you prefer. The Flint is a highly valued Carter Cave Flint and the Clovis measures 2 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide. It is fluted on both sides and the best in our business, Dwain Rogers has approved this Artifact.

This mount was just finished and it has a superior paint job. This is a Fiberglass Reproduction and it will last forever if taken care of. This is a difficult Fish to mount because they start loosing their color in seconds after coming out of the water and most photographs do not do it justice because they are already fading before pictures can be taken. They are an aggressive type of Fish and they know very well how to use those long sharp teeth. You have to be careful removing the hook. They are great fighters and also a wonderful Fish to eat. This very nice skull measures 14 10/16" long and 9 6/16" wide scoring 24 which would place this Grizzly in the All Time Boone & Crockett Record Book of North American Big Game. One canine tooth has a thin crack and a small chip out of the backside of the tooth. Two other teeth next to this Canine have chips of tooth missing. Seems the Bear bit down really hard on the left front side where these three teeth are. The rest of the teeth as well as the skull are in excellent condition. It is normal for Old Bears to have chips and cracks in their teeth. Sometimes Old Bears like this one are missing two or three teeth. This Grizz came from Alaska.

From the tip of the nose of the nose to the tip of the tail, the measurement is 5 feet 10 1/4" long. The Rug is double felted in beige on brown and nicely padded. Altogether, this is really a fantastic Black Bear Rug.

These antlers had shreds of bloody velvet hanging off the newly hardened antlers, and after much consideration the hunter decided to strip the leftover velvet off. When the antlers dried they were a light white color, so then, it was decided to stain them. The stain was a little bit over done but altogether he did a pretty pair job. At any rate these antlers look much better than they did when the Caribou was harvested. They have quite a lovely shape and the two big Shovals really give this antler mount a lot of character.

We do not know where this Buck came from so we will assume that this rack is from a high Fence type of Ranch. The antlers are definitely a matching pair and also have great natural color. This Buck was a 12 x 10 and we scored it giving the Deer conservative 22" inside spread. The left antler score 104 and the right is 93 3/8". The Buck broke off three smaller type of points on the left antler near the base, These are definitely sheds and not cut-offs. The antlers have no breaks other than the natural ones just mentioned. The antlers have no cracks, rat chews, repairs, or stain, and these would look very awesome on a good mount.

First of all let us apologize for not having better photos but these antlers get wanting to rotate off the table. We also did not have the time to score them; and would be truly on the spread. The right antler has 10 points, and the left has 11 points. We purchased these at a garage sell and the people had no knowledge of where they came from. The antlers have a fantastic natural color and we received these already pinned for mounting. After more questioning we found out the garage sell people had got them at a Taxidermy Auction a while back. Somebody was planning on mounting these and then changed their mind and sold them. We have a big Bull Elk cape from Idaho if somebody would like a 21 point Non-typical Elk shoulder mount.

Authentic African Masai Lion Spear From East Africa

This Spear is very old. Around 1910 give or take a couple of years. It measures 7 feet 2" long, which is just about the same height as a Masai Warrior. Back at the time of this Spear, the Masai were still hunting Lions with this type of Spear. They circled a Lion and then the young warrior would move towards the Lion in the circle and provoke a charge. When Lion took his last leap the warrior would plant the base of the Spear in the ground and leaning back with the tip of the spear held high, he would try to impale the Lion by using the Lions weight against him, and using the sharp planted Spear. The Masai, at the time, had to kill a Lion in order to reach manhood and be allowed to marry. Of course a few young Masai didn't make it to manhood.

This is a very handsome Sable from Zambia; the land of heat and Tsetse flies. The heat is Sable country makes you really sweat and the flies come out of nowhere to land on you to get a drink. The Tsetse Fly is about the size of our Horsefly we have here but their is one big difference. The Zambian Tsetse Fly is a Devil. After getting a good drink of your sweat they take a bite out of you before they fly off. Their sting is like a big red hot needle just pulled out of the fire and jabbed into you about a good inch. Burns and hurts like hell and when one leaves along comes another. But the heat and Tsetse's are just one of the payments the Hunter mist make if he wants the beautiful and majestic Black Sable. This ones a little better than average and his horns are removable for easy moving, hanging, and shipping. The taxidermy here is a 10 and the mount is in excellent condition. The Sable is one of the Top 5 most beautiful Antelopes in the World and this mount will grace and make elegant any wall you hang him on.

Authentic Early Archaic Dovetail Indian Artifact Arrowhead

This Dovetail was recovered from Kentucky about 40 years ago. The Early Archaic Point was made from Hornstone 8,000 to 9500 years ago. The flaking is really awesome on this point. It measures 2 1/2" long and 1 2/8" wide. About 3/16" of the left ear was missing at the base and we had it restored. We can easily remove the restoration if you prefer it that way.

The top three realy small Points were recovered from near Dumas, Texas. They are called Washita Points and they are a true Bird Point 400 to 800 years old. The very pretty Pink Point was made from Alibates Chert and it is called a Toyah which are 400 to 600 years old. Then we have a couple of small corner notched Points and one longer Black Stemmed Point. The White Speckled Point is a Oxbow Point which is a Mid-Archaic type which is 4500 to 5200 years old. The Stemmed Point looks to be a Horse Fly but we are not positive on this. All eight of these are no Brainers.

This is most likely the best Artifact in this Auction. This highly treasured Clovis was recovered from Lewis County, Kentucky several years ago. It was formerly part of the Robert Klan Collection. Spectacular AAA 13.5 oz. "Megalodon" Giant Prehistoric Shark Tooth

This big tooth came from a old Megalodon. It was recovered just off the Coast of Georgia. The tooth has a huge base that is very wide. The tip was wore down so they polished this tooth smooth and reduced some of the length. Also a little pyrite was inbedded at the tip to fill a cavity. Fools Gold that is. This massive tooth is 4 11/16" long and 4 6/16" wide. It weighs nearly a pound and the Shark that had this tooth was a little over 46 feet long! For every inch of tooth their was 10 feet of Megalodon. The beauty of this tooth is just out of this world.

This Canister Shot was excavated off of Hagerstown Road at Antietam, Maryland in the early 1980's. In the day of Battle at Antietam once more than 23,000 soldiers died or were seriously wounded, and it became the bloodiest day in American History. Bodies were stacked everywhere! More Soldiers were killed in that one day than D-day and the whole Revolutionary War put together. This Canister Shot Ball was fired along with 10 to 11 others all in one blast from one canon. If fired into a line of men, Canister Shot could easily kill a dozen and wound a few more. May Antietam never be forgotten.

Authentic 1865 Civil War Union Saber with Scabbard

This Saber is easy identifiable as the markings are not faded very much, as many are. Near the handle on one side of the upper blade is stamped U.S. 1865 and A.G.M. and on the other side G.Roby, W.ChelmsFord Mass. A lot of Civil War swords are extremely rusty with missing parts and bent blades. Very often the leather handle is dry rotted and the wire wrapping is broken, missing, or coming loose. Also the leather oval at the top of the blade is tore up or missing. The Scabbards have big dents in them or are not present. This Sword has all of these things mentioned and is in excellent condition considering all things.

Rare & Authentic Confederate Saber

This is a very rare and interesting Saber. It was recovered in Louisiana several years ago and kept in a sword collectors collection until his passing. We purchased this from his son. During the Civil War the South only had two manufacturers and the North had five or more. The South had to purchase right at about half its swords from Europe; with most of them coming Germany. Most early imports followed the M1840 pattern Calvary Saber but some pipe backed Saber were used off of a 1821 pattern and this is one of those. The faded stamp at the Ricasso of this sword bears the letters P.D.L. for Peter D. Luneschloss, a well known German Sword Maker who imported sowrds to the South, especially pipe backed types. The Swords blade is 28 1/2". The Saber total length is 34". The blade has quite a sharp edge. The Iron hilt is tight and the wooden grip does have some slight movement. Unfortunately this Confederate Saber does not have its Scabbard. Many Civil War Swords and Knives do not. An interesting fact about Civil War blades is that you will find 3 1/2" Union types. Also you can purchase a good decent Union Saber for around $ 2000.00, but you cannot get a trashy bent up Confederate for less than that. A really decent or good condition Confederate Saber will start at $ 3,500.00 and go up to $ 10,000.00. Taking all matters into consideration, this Confederate Saber is a very good one!

These chains were purchased at an antique store in Georgia, but the seller did not have any history about them. The lock and keys for the top and bottom parts are there with the numbers 935 for top and 936 for bottom on the keys. These were designed to go around the wrist and ankles. We do not know the age of these. They could be pre-civil War or, Civil War era, or post Civil War. The Locks and Keys are all in working order.

This One hundred Dollar Confederate Bill was made in Richmond, Virginia on Feb. 17th, 1864. It is hand signed and numbered 68090. It is a type 65 #490 and classified as a number 4 rarity. It has two tiny spot stains and a piece of tape on the back covering a very small tear. On a 1 to 10 quality scale, I would grade it a 8.5. These are very rare and hard to find.

Tiffany Style Decorative Lamp

This Lamp is one that cleverly used some of the Tiffany styles for their own design. It has beautiful jaded glass and the Shade as well as the base is decorated with dragonflies. The Lamp stands 32" tall and the Shade is 20" across. It feels like a little Iron as well as brass was used on the base and stand. It holds two standard size light bulbs and has two switches. The Lamp is in good working order and is a beautiful piece.

All three are no brainers and come with a display case.

Big 38" Alaskan Dall Sheep Ram Shoulder Mount Taxidermy

This Ram is not Record Book but 38" x 37 5/8" curls are not bad. The bases are 13 2/8" x 13" inches around. The taxidermy on this one is just average. The eyes as well as the ears could have been set better and the nose has no nostril depth. Aslo the hair is brittle on the shoulders and mid-neck areas. We sprayed this Ram down with hair conditioner and stop-slip and have strengthen the hair some. Understand that the hair is not slipping out of the tanned cape but Dall Sheep have hollow and porous hair and some of them on this Ram are so brittle that they are breaking off at the tips. Hang him and do not pet him and the mount will be fine. The mount is clean, smoke free; and it has a good solid hanger.

A lot of Paleontologist believe the Mammoth went extinct 30,000 to 50,000 years ago. Studying Paleontology myselft for overy 5 years and going on several digs I have a personal view of a younger Earth than most. I've found Mammoth Bones and tusk walking along beaches in Northwestern Alaska that still had the smell of the animal on them. I have found Dinosaur Fossils with the bone marrow still intact. I think that Mammoths were stillo with us 3,000 to 5,000 years ago.

Awesome Pre-Ban Polar Bear Rug Taxidermy Mount **U.S. Residents Only**

These are getting so hard to come by. There are so many Rules and Regulations on Polar Bears, if you can draw a tag-and if you get one, and then later on; if you can sell it! This one was fair chase and legally harvested prior to the Marine Mammal Act and so this one can be sold anywhere in the lower 48 states. We have legal documentation for this Bear and we can sell to anyone in the lower 48. The rug has all 20 claws and it measures 7 feet 7 1/2" from the tip of the nose down the spine to a straight line where the back feet are. From front Paw Claw to the other Front Paw Claw measures 7 feet 3". The rug was recently cleaned, touched up, and restored. The rug is not dry rotted or slipping hair. It is, however, a little more than 50 years old. The taxidermy is good for the time it was mounted and the Rug work and skin are in good condition for their age. This Rug will last another 50 years if it is taken care of and it will make a fantastic decoration!

These mounts are not old at all and were very well done. These are average size Black Bears harvested in Alberta Canada. The base was left undecorated with habitat because the hunter placed his collection of Bear skulls on it. We can place a natural habitat scene there if you wish. The base is 7 feet long" and 29" wide. From floor to the highest point is 5 feet 2 1/2" inches. The mounts are excellent and in mint condition.

This is a very nice mature full curl Ram harvested in British Columbia, Canada. The taxidermy is excellent and the horns measure 38 5/8" x 34 6/8" around the curls. Both bases are 13 5/8" around. The one horn being broomed back is quite normal. Sheep tend to favor right or left brooming like Warthogs tend to use a right or left tusk for digging and rooting with. Of course this results in one horn or one tusk being little shorter than the other. This mount is in excellent condition. Stone Sheep hunts are starting at $ 30,000.00 and up.

This floor pedestal Pronghorn mount is attractive and very well done. The habitat scene is proper for Pronghorn with sagebrush etc.. The taxidermy is a 10. The right horn has bullet hole in it and funny thing is; is that the bullet is still in it as you can see that their is no exit hole. We did not get the whole story on this hunt but I believe the bullet in the horn did not exit because it was a small caliber like a .22 cal. The man harvested this Prairie Goat was an experienced hunter, and I am sure he was using a proper gun, so I assume that a teenager perhaps, took a crack at this Antelope while on a Beer drinking poaching trip with friends and jerked the trigger causing the bullet to fly high and hit the Pronghorn in the horn. All the speculation of course. Anyway, the winner of this auction will get a super good looking mount and we can fix the bullet hole if they wish for $ 50.00

Of course everybody wants that magic 10 footer but those really giant ones do not grow on trees. The mount has a Chinook Salmon laying on the River Bank with half of its tail still in the water. The Big Bear is greedy and he is already looking for another Salmon but has not eaten the one he just caught. The taxidermy quality is a 10 and the condition of this mount is very good. The base is 6 ft. & 3" long. From the floor to the top of the Bears Ear is 7ft. & 4" high. The base is 32 1/2" wide.

The Wildlife shows on TV lied. Yes, the Cheetah is the fastest animal in the World but, for how far? Would you believe only 1/4 mile. Yes that’s 440 yards and then their motor slows and after another 1/4" mile they usually quit. Not our Hartebeest ; He is merely shifting into fifth gear at 400 yards. A Red Cape Hartebeest can cruise at 60 or more for 3 miles or more. They also can hit speeds of 70 to 71 miles per hour which the Cheetah just can't do. Don't Believe? Well I've seen it. A hunting companion gut shot a Red Hartebeest Bull and we followed him a Land Rover for three miles. Remember he had a 200 grain bullet in hist gut from a 300. Weatherby Magnum. Anyway, I clocked him a 71 to 72 for a seconds and a steady 60 mph. for 3 miles or long. After a long ordeal my friend finally got his Hartebeest. This mount has excellent quality taxidermy and it is in mint-like condition.

We purchased this SS Belt side Knife a while back out of Poland. We were told it was a officers side Knife. But what type of Officer we do not know. It was made by Solingen, which we know is a German Steel Company that has been around a very long time. Also at the top of the blade just under the handle on one side is a stamp that says "Original Eickhorn Solingen". The blade has not been sharpened which lead us to believe that it was not long from the factory when taken. I can not find more information about it, and I do see some fading of numbers and letters but I am not sure it was not produced that way intended. I also do not feel good about the blade having not been sharpened. Long story short, I think this might be a replica, so with that in mind please bid carefully. I do not know this for a fact but I am not comfortable with it.

Authentic One of a Kind World War 2 Trench Art Coffee Thermos

During World War 1 Soldiers made things from whatever they could find in the trenches. I guess they did this between battles for good mind therapy. I suppose it was better to keep ones mind occupied doing something than thinking about the next battle charge that might be coming soon. Anyway this Trench Art thing also caught in some places during World War 2. A German Soldier found this shell casing; " a 88 mm?" and began tinkering around and turned it into a Coffee Thermos. Where the primer was he placed a lid, and on the sides he enscribed the Nazi Swastika on one side and a portrait of Hitler on the other.

This Rug measures 5 feet 6" from the tip of the nose to a line drawn even from back foot to other back foot. From front Paw to the dark hair hump just behind the neck to the other tip of front Paw is 5 feet 4 1/2". The Blueish silver gray hairs which cover most of the Bears body are simply awesome. The Blond hair under the front arms and on the ankles is unique and this one has a regular Black Bear mask on his face with Blond hair around the nose and eyebrows. All the Claws are present and the taxidermy along with the condition of this Rug is excellent. This Bear is one in a Thousand!

This is a mature Wild Turkey Gobbler with a decent beard and fairly big spurs. I believe this great Bird was taken in the Spring with a Shotgun, possibly coming to call. The hunter must have fired when he was in full Strut because his big tail fan is shot up a bit. More than likely the head or neck shot took out the Turkey but the BB's that missed the head, hit the tail Fan. Guess the hunter wanted the full Strut mount because he remembered the way the Turkey was. Anyway, we worked hard to get the tail looking better but its amazing what a 12 gauge can do. Besides the Tail the Turkey is in very good condition with very good taxidermy quality.
