Payment - Your credit card will be processed for the full amount of sale immediately following close of the auction *unless PRIOR alternative payment arrangements have been made with Thomas Hirchak Company known as "THCo". Credit card payments will have 3% added to invoice for processing fees.

There is no fee to register, although a valid credit card will be required to verify identity and funds. By bidding you are representing to "THCo" (Auctioneer) and the seller that you have read and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions for this sale as stated herein. BEFORE PLACING A BID: It is important that you are familiar with the terms and conditions as all sales are final. The terms of sale are non-negotiable. Buyer is responsible for all costs and fees associated with purchase and removal of items - no refunds. THE SALE WILL BE CONTROLLED BY THE AUCTIONEER PROGRAM: "THCo" is not responsible for malfunctions or system errors which cause a bid or bidder to fail to be recognized or registered. If there is a dispute, the Auctioneer may re-open the bidding at the Auctioneer's sole discretion and shall serve as the sole arbiter as to who is or is not allowed to bid.

ITEMS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS: "THCo"has made every attempt to fully disclose any known condition of product being sold. Auction items are sold 'AS IS, WHERE IS' with no financing, inspection or other contingencies to sale. Buyers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and investigation of each auction prior to making a bid and purchase at the auction. Buyers must rely solely upon their own investigation and not any information provided by the Seller or Auctioneer. Failure of a Buyer to be fully informed on the condition of an item will not constitute grounds for any claim adjustment or right to cancel sale.

PICK UP OF ITEMS: Item(s) MUST be completely removed from auction site on specified day. Please bring appropriate means to load and haul your items including but not limited to boxes, packing material, any necessary tools, ladders, or other equipment involved with the disassembly or removal of items. "THCo" Does NOT provide any labor or tools, please bring proper help if picking up larger items. Any items not picked up on the specified day will be considered "ABANDONED." Buyers that do not show up for scheduled load outs and do not communicate with "THCo" will have all winning lots considered, "ABANDONED WITHOUT REFUND." No exceptions.

Pieces include several from Donahue’s “American Zen” series (exhibited in the South Gallery at West Branch, Stowe, VT in 2015) which are boldly painted, non-representational imagery where language and painting are infused with spirit. “The core of my work can be read as having a meditative quality, passages which are at their quietest, contemplative and at their most energized, fully brazen.” “I am drawn to and respond to the multiplicity of repetitive patterns which occur at different scales in nature. These forms repeatedly surface throughout my paintings.” “I am most centered when I am painting,” Donahue said. “For me, the act of painting is emotionally nourishing. It creates a meditative space. And because abstract art is non-literal, it can take you to places where the confines of description cannot. Painting for me requires complete surrender, tweaking the genie within to respond. I consider the studio my sanctuary.” Elizabeth A. "Beth" (Gouldie) Donahue (June 28, 1935 - May 14, 2018) Beth Donahue was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and attended Regis College and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She taught experimental, as well as, traditional printmaking techniques at Regis College and lectured in the Boston area. The Salon Du Vieux Colombier, Paris, France chose several of Donahue’s paintings to represent the United States in a traveling exhibition exchange with Paris, London, Tokyo, and Beijing. Attended Regis College and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Her works include permanent collections at the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Commanderie d’Unit, Bordeaux, France; and Cape Museum of Fine Arts Dennis, MA. Her works are in a multitude of corporate and private collections. Donahue was a charter member of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Reviews of her work have appeared in The Cape Code Times, the Boston Globe, Art New England, and Harvard University Business Magazine.
