Rare German WWII MG 34 Tanker Panzerlauf Display LMG Inert Gun Lot #259 (Sale Order 263 of 355) S# 2985b, 1945 dated, dot maker marked | Most German tanks during World War II used the MG 34 Panzerlauf for their secondary firepower. The main difference of the MG 34 Panzerlauf and the regular MG 34 was the heavier, almost solid armored barrel shroud. This model didn’t use a standard bipod or use the butt stock inside the tank. There was no way to accommodate a bipod on the heavy barrel shroud without a clip on foresight stored inside the tank for emergencies, along with a buttstock to attach as well. Comes complete with a post-war repainted basket belt drum. Tanker MG 34 versions are very rare and much sought after. | BATF approved receiver with solid bar stock, making this a totally legal inert non-firing display gun. No registration needed.
