Gray patina, good bore, swivel breech design, the top of the barrel is marked in a single line CONNECTICUT ARMS & MANF'G CO NAUBIC CONN. Marked along the forward edge of the breech-block PATENTED OCT. 25. 1864 with the 864 being very faint and nearly impossible to read without magnification, left side of breech block shows a fine fracture at rear of pivot and tool marks on right side at broken pivot locking screw, hammer needs repairs (does not have spring tension), off white grips show light handling. These pistols were made from approx 1866-1880 with only around 8000 produced using Hammonds "Bulldog" patent. Dark brown patina, fair bore, top of barrel marked William Briggs Norristown PA (Briggs was a gunsmith/builder in Norristown PA during the mid 1850's-60's) front ramrod furrel has been reattached to under rib, strong engraved Leman lock holds on half and full cock and is slightly smaller than lock mortise, wood stock shows average handling with a few small cracks along barrel channel and missing forearm pin, wood ramrod with metal tip. Antique JD Dougall SxS Side Lever Shotgun Lot #1309 (Sale Order 308 of 312) 12Ga. 30" bbl, SN 2641. (made between 1864-1875) dark gray/silver patina, highly figured Damascus barrels marked JD Dougall Inventor & Pattantee 59 St James's St London on rib, engraved receiver and back action locks show small traces of case color in protected areas and under hammer, left lock is nice and strong holds on half and full cock, right lock is missing hammer with broken hammer screw, hinge utilizes Dougall's Lockfast system which was advertised that no load could hurt this system (it was very expensive at the average labor rate in London in 1870 a shotgun with this system would cost about a full years salary) checkered wood stock and forearm show average handling with comb replaced and forearm held via single barrel wedge. These Dugall side by sides are getting hard to find. Good condition. Antique

Gerstenberger & Eberwein Model 5 Gas/Flare Pistol Over/Under Pistol Lot #1124 (Sale Order 312 of 312) .320 cal., 2 1/4" bbl, NSN. 90% blue finish shows general thinning with scattered freckles, fair bores, checkered plastic grips show average handling. This unique little pistol was made to fire tear gas, flares and blanks, it will chamber a 32 Colt short but should not be used for live ammo as the barrel has a machined lip at the face of the chamber.
