Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the description, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. Lot #2407 (Sale Order 8 of 304)

1923 Germany (Weimar Republic) 10 Million Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote P# 106d Grades Select AU. In the early 1920s, post-WWI Germany saw its economy spiraling out of control. Hyperinflation started directly after the war in 1918, but truly took over the Weimar Republic from 1921 to 1923. The value of the Mark declined incredibly rapidly. 1 USD was equal to 50 German Marks at the beginning of 1920. Toward the end of 1923, 1 USD was equal to over 4,200,000,000,000 German Marks. At times, denominations of the Mark became less valuable than the paper and labor to print it almost immediately after printing. Thus, denominations of the Mark notes became incredibly large, ending up in the tens of trillions.

Lot #2411 (Sale Order 12 of 304)

1968 United States Mint Set in Original Government Packaging, 10 Coins Inside!. Original packaging: The new Mint Sets retained the old Pliofilm packaging, but with a twist. To differentiate official Mint Sets from privately made sets, the Mint added color to the edge of the plastic: blue for the Philadelphia and San Francisco coins, and red for the Denver coins (the addition of colored edging was actually proposed in 1964). The five coins from the Denver Mint were placed in one pliofilm package, while the Philadelphia and San Francisco were combined in another. 1961 Russia (Soviet) 3 Rubles Banknote P# 223a Grades Choice AU/BU Slider

Lot #2413 (Sale Order 14 of 304)

1961 Russia (Soviet) 3 Rubles Banknote P# 223a Grades Choice AU/BU Slider. The "Sixth Soviet Ruble" was issued first in 1961, and the designs for both the non-commemorative coins and paper currency of the Soviet Union almost remained identical from 1961 nearly until the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. Briefly before the Soviet Union fell, there was the monetary reform of 1991 and the release of the Seventh Soviet Ruble, with designs that were fairly similar to the 1961 Rubles. Interestingly, the 500 Ruble note only existed for 2 days before the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the 1000 Soviet Ruble note only came into existence 3 months after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Some Soviet banknotes were printed and remained in use in various ex-Soviet states in 1992-1993, still utilizing the 1991 Soviet designs.

Lot #2452 (Sale Order 47 of 304)

1922 Germany (Weimar) 1000 Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote P# 76 Grades Select AU.

Lot #2475 (Sale Order 64 of 304)

1944 Germany WWII Allied Military Currency 1 Mark Note P# 192a Grades vf+. The AM-Mark ("Allied Military Currency") was the currency issued in Allied-occupied Germany by AMGOT after the commencement of Operation Wild Dog in 1944. There were individual prefix identifications for Occupation zones (USA > 1, British > 0, French > 00, Russian > -). These notes circulated through mid 1948. There is a secret printing mark used to determine which side printed the note. For the Americans this is a stylized "F" for the printer, Forbes Lithographic, which appears on the 1/2, 1, 5 and 10 mark notes in the left ball of the scroll directly below the lower right denomination value. The letter also appears on the 20, 50, 100 and 1000 marks. The Soviet Union printed identical notes but without the "F".

Lot #2492 (Sale Order 79 of 304)

1961 Russia (Soviet) 10 Rubles Banknote P# 233a Grades Choice AU/BU Slider.

Lot #2499 (Sale Order 83 of 304)

1942-1944 Myanmar (Japanese WWII Occupation) 10 Rupees Banknote P# 16 Grades Select CU. Japanese invasion money, officially known as Southern Development Bank Notes (Japanese: ??????? Dai T?-A Sens? gunpy?, "Greater East Asia War military scrip"), was currency issued by the Japanese Military Authority as a replacement for local currency after the conquest of colonies and other states in World War II. Japan printed this currency for many countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, North Borneo, Sarawak, Burma, Brunei, and several Oceania territories controlled by Australia. Some Japanese invasion notes are actually counterfeits produced by the American Office of Strategic Services or the British Special Operations Executive, meant to flood and destabilize the economy in the occupied areas, sometimes also including propaganda printed on the notes themselves.

1922 Germany "Vampire" 10,000 Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote P# 71 Grades xf+

Lot #2519 (Sale Order 99 of 304)

1922 Germany "Vampire" 10,000 Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote P# 71 Grades xf+. Among the many bills issued during the hyperinflation crisis in the post-WWI German Weimar Republic, the "Vampire Note" is a particular standout. It is known as the Vampire Note because when the note's engraver (identity unknown) adapted a portrait by famous German Renaissance painter Albrecht Durer for the note, he made an odd alteration where the neck of the figure looks like a Vampire when the bill is rotated 90 degrees. It takes some imagination to see, but was intentional and meant to represent the anti-French sentiment in WWI Germany -- France was considered to be "sucking the life out of" the country following the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. The Reichsbank noticed this alteration, but did not change it, printing several varieties of the bill with the design and giving credence to the popular anti-French sentiment. There are three varieties, Pick # 70 and 71 differing in the reverse design, and Pick # 72 being a smaller version of Pick # 71.

Lot #2530 (Sale Order 109 of 304)

1928 $20 Gold Certificate, Sig. Woods & Mellon Fr-2400 Graded f15 By Legacy. The small size $20 gold certificate was only issued for 1928. Like other twenty dollar bills from the same year, this one shows a portrait of Andrew Jackson in the center of the bill. Once redeemable for gold on demand, U.S. Gold Certificates are among the most sought after of all paper currency. The small-size notes of Series 1928 are much scarcer than previous large-size notes issued over a longer period. Signatures Woods/Mellon. Generally speaking, the 1928 $20 gold certificate is noted for its light pasty seal and a dark green reverse printing.

Lot #2531 (Sale Order 110 of 304)

1961 Russia (Soviet) 5 Rubles Banknote P# 224a Grades Choice AU/BU Slider.

Lot #2562 (Sale Order 131 of 304)

***Auction Highlight*** Original sealed 1963 United States Mint Proof Set Tennessee Valley Hoard. Original sealed 1959 United States Mint Proof Set Tennessee Valley Hoard. Once in a lifetime collection We are proud to bring to auction the greatest proof collection of the late 1950s and early 1960s. This collection may contain some of the only unopened mega boxes of unopened proof sets still in existence. In all my years in numismatics I have never seen a collection like this one. The collection includes 3 unopened mega boxes as well as approximately 7 mega boxes that have been carefully opened but the sets inside remain pristine and unopened as they were when they left the philadelphia mint over a half century ago. Finding cameo and deep cameo proofs from this era is near impossible u less you pay full retail and buy them already holdered. All of the sets at coin shows have been examined and have virtually no cameos. The only way to get the same odds of finding one of these valuable cameos is to buy an unopened set. Many sets today that are purported to be unopened have a actually been opened and resealed or put into a fresh envelope and sealed. This 100% original lot is guaranteed to be unopened from the day it left the mint. We will cover your laboratory costs and pay you 10x your cost of the set if the carbon dating on this set shows that the glue is not from the late 1950s 1960s. A true once in a lifetime opportunity

1923 Germany Weimar Republic 10 Million Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote Grades Choice AU/BU S

Lot #2568 (Sale Order 136 of 304)

1923 Germany Weimar Republic 10 Million Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote Grades Choice AU/BU Slider.

These shotgun rolls are all from a new consignee. They are all frrom one Estate. This particular Roll shows a 1909-s on one end and a VDB reverse on the other end.

1923 Germany (Weimar) 20 Million Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote P# 97b Grades vf+

Lot #2595 (Sale Order 154 of 304)

1923 Germany (Weimar) 20 Million Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote P# 97b Grades vf+.

1942 Malaysia (Japanese WWII Occupation) 10 Cents Note P# M3 Grades vf++

Lot #2601 (Sale Order 159 of 304)

1942 Malaysia (Japanese WWII Occupation) 10 Cents Note P# M3 Grades vf++. After Japanese forces occupied Malaya early in 1942, they introduced new currency notes. Because the $10 note carried a picture of a banana plant, the wartime currency was referred to as banana money. For the first two years of the occupation, the Japanese maintained monetary discipline and kept circulation of this currency under control. However, with the country’s trading economy at a standstill, there was little to tax and, in order to fund the civil administration and purchase supplies for the military, the Japanese began printing more and more money. In December 1940, the active circulation of currency in Malaya was 120 million dollars. By the middle of 1945, the Japanese may have printed 4,000 million dollars, and the active circulation was 30 times greater than before the war. The predictable result was hyperinflation.

Lot #2616 (Sale Order 168 of 304)

1934 $20 Green Seal Federal Reserve Note (Chicago, IL) Fr-2054G Grades vf++. When the 1918 Federal Reserve Series was introduced, these large denominations were intended for one purpose. The notes were issued to facilitate bank-to-bank transactions in an era before online banking and electronic wire transfers were possible. The majority of the American public never even saw these notes and they were not intended for use in circulation.In fact, the $500 note was the only note that wasn’t in excess of the average annual salary of an American in the early 20th century. The $5,000 and $10,000 notes exceeded, or vastly exceeded in the case of the $10,000 note, the income of most Americans in the first half of the 20th century.President William McKinley is featured on the obverse of the 1934 $500 Federal Reserve Note. This depiction captures McKinley in a slight-right-profile relief inside a porthole frame. McKinley was the 25th President of the United States and oversaw the nation during the Spanish-American War. He served from 1897 until his death in 1901, just after he won reelection in 1900.The denomination and nation of issue feature as the primary elements on the reverse of 1934 $500 Federal Reserve Notes. This simpler design was common across all denominations with the 1934 Series overhaul. The 1918 Series notes featured ornate vignettes that had gone out of style on American currency by the 1930s.

1923 Germany (Weimar Republic) 10 Million Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote P# 106a Grades vf++

Lot #2635 (Sale Order 179 of 304)

1923 Germany (Weimar Republic) 10 Million Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote P# 106a Grades vf++.

Up for auction we have a beautiful, ornate Imperial Ruble note from the final decade of the Russian Empire under Tsar Nicholas II, which managed to survive through the Russian Revolution and Civil War. These notes became relatively useless in the early Soviet period, due to hyperinflation and other factors, and many were lost or destroyed. The 500 Ruble note features a portrait of Peter the Great, and the 100 Ruble note features a portrait of Catherine the Great.

1922 Germany "Vampire" 10,000 Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote P# 70 Grades vf++

Lot #2649 (Sale Order 188 of 304)

1922 Germany "Vampire" 10,000 Marks Post-WWI Hyperinflation Banknote P# 70 Grades vf++.

Lot #2655 (Sale Order 194 of 304)

1943 Philippines (Japanese WWII Occupation) 10 Pesos Banknote P# 111 Grades vf+.

Lot #2688 (Sale Order 221 of 304)

***Auction Highlight*** Old Casino 50c Roll $10 Halves Las Vegas Casino Golden Nugget 1940 walker & D franklin Ends. Up for auction is a Consignment I have secured a collection of old 1960’s Las Vegas Casino Half Dollar Shot Gun Rolls from various Casinos. These Rolls contain 20 Half Dollars. They have tight ends and are wild!. I opened three rolls to examine the contents and what I found was mostly Circulated Walkers, a few Franklins and a Seated coin or two and a couple of Barbers. But after I opened the rolls, I wished I hadn’t as they were so cool as antique Las Vegas Half Rolls. I have only seen a handful of these ever. The consignee has given us some additional rolls. We estimate the rolls to be worth $2000 each as a collectable antique, but if the roll is opened and has a rare date, who knows the value, a 1921 Walker even in low grade is worth over $500, and several other dates are worth over $200 each. But who knows, maybe a rare 1878-s Seated is inside. ($35k in g4), or an 1892-o Barber ($5k in G4). In any event the rolls themselves are amazing collectibles of a bygone era of the Rat pack and Las Vegas. From the rolls we have received there are 10 different casinos. Good Luck.

Lot #2693 (Sale Order 226 of 304)

1942 Philippines (Japanese WWII Occupation) 50 Centavos Banknote P# 105 Grades Select AU.

1961 Russia (Soviet) 1 Rubls Banknote P# 222a Grades Choice AU/BU Slider

Lot #2726 (Sale Order 252 of 304)

1961 Russia (Soviet) 1 Rubls Banknote P# 222a Grades Choice AU/BU Slider.

Lot #2733 (Sale Order 259 of 304)

1943 Philippines (Japanese WWII Occupation) 5 Pesos Banknote P# 110 Grades vf++.

1922 Germany (Weimar Republic) 10,000 Marks "Vampire" Post-WWI Hyperinflation Note P# 70 Grades vf++

Lot #2736 (Sale Order 262 of 304)

1922 Germany (Weimar Republic) 10,000 Marks "Vampire" Post-WWI Hyperinflation Note P# 70 Grades vf++.
