Proxibid is now collecting sales tax on all sales, and your state's applicable sales tax will be automatically added onto your invoice. If you are sales tax exempt, then you need to enter that information into your Proxibid account BEFORE the auction ends. We are not able to manually change the sales tax on your invoice, so please call Proxibid with any issues regarding sales tax. WIRE TRANSFERS - this option is available to FFL dealer (Tax exempt) bidders who have a total invoice of $2,500 or more. 5% buyer's premium discount for Wire Transfer payment. If you wish to pay by wire transfer, then please email us after the auction for wire instructions. Otherwise we will assume that you'll be paying by Credit Card through atgPay. This is ONLY available to bidders who are FFL dealers, are sales tax exempt, and have invoices totaling over $2,500. All other bidders need to use the atgPay checkout system!

OUT OF STATE BUYERS: Guns must be shipped to an FFL dealer in your state, and we will need a copy of your dealer's license sent to us before we can ship the gun. FFL can be emailed to russ@rdfarnsworth.com or faxed to (330) 266-2472. See each lot description for shipping costs. Make sure each item is legal to own in your state before you bid! We cannot ship guns directly to California C&R holders. Ammunition sold to California residents must be shipped to a licensed dealer. No international shipping. No Ammo shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Guns shipped to Alaska and Hawaii will be extra charge (call for quote before bidding).

LOCAL BUYERS: Pickup date is Friday, July 7, 2023 from 3 PM until 7 PM at our office in Westfield Twp. (Seville), OH. Additional pickup times are available by appointment. All FFL Rules apply. Gun buyers will need to complete ATF Form 4473 at time of pickup. We do accept valid Ohio CCWs in lieu of NICS background check. Ohio residents will still have the option of paying CASH during the pickup time for a 5% discount. If you don't pay cash during the scheduled pickup time, then you need to pay with credit card through Proxibid's atgPay system (click the "PAY NOW" button on your invoice). 6.75% Sales Tax will be charged for all sales to Ohio Residents (and also to non-residents, if the items are being picked up at our location).

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING!

Long Guns will be shipped via either USPS Priority or UPS Ground (our choice). Handguns will be shipped by USPS Priority ONLY (NO EXCPTIONS).

Shipping cost for Long Guns is $50. Shipping Cost for Handguns is $30. We will combine shipping cost on firearms as much as possible, but doing so requires that they are able to fit in the same box. We will no longer be purchasing extra insurance through the carriers, due to the amount of hassle involved when trying to collect on a firearms-related claim. Shipments over $100 will be subject to a 3rd party firearms shipping policy. Damage claims will require that the gun is returned to us before the claim can be processed. Any refunds or payments for items lost/damage in shipping are subject to approval by our 3rd party insurer.

Firearms must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer in your state. We need a copy of your preferred dealer's license sent to us before we can ship the firearm. It can be emailed to russ@rdfarnsworth.com or faxed to (330) 266-2472. We cannot ship firearms directly to California C&R Holders (licensed DEALER only). Other than California, we are happy to ship C&R eligible guns directly to C&R holders.

All ammunition will continue to be shipped via UPS Ground. Accessories will be either shipped by USPS Priority or UPS Ground. See listed shipping cost for ammo and accessories in the item descriptions. All shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will be extra cost....contact us before bidding for a quote.

"NO SHIPPING" Means exactly that. Do Not bid on "NO SHIPPING" items unless you will be picking them up in person at our office in Seville, OH during our scheduled checkout time (the day after the auction ends). If you mistakenly bid on a "NO SHIPPING" item, then you will need to contact Proxibid Customer Service immediately to request a bid retraction. Do not call or email us to request a bid retraction....this is not something that we are able to do. It must be done directly through Proxibid! No refunds will be issued for out of state buyers who mistakenly purchase a "NO SHIPPING" item. The options are to: (1) find a way to pick the item up here, (2) Make arrangements with a 3rd party shipper for them to pick the item up here and ship it to you, or (3) we will sell the item again for you in our next auction and send you the proceeds, minus auction fees.

Walter Paul 8mm Stalking Rifle - BC101

Walter Paul (Hameln, Germany) Mauser style 8mm bolt action rifle. 24" barrel with raised rib. Good condition - 75% plus overall. Stock has scratches and nicks. Buttplate is missing some pieces. Barrel and receiver have some blue loss and patina. No deep rust or pitting. Fitted with double set triggers, but the rear (set) trigger does not work. Probably just needs adjusted properly with the adjustment screw, but we're not sure. Front trigger functions as it should without the rear trigger being set. Bore has some frosting, but shows very good visible rifling. Mechanical condition, with the exception of the rear trigger issue, seems to be very good. Local pickup on Fri. Winchester 21 20 ga. 2 barrel set - S/N 16043

SALE HIGHLIGHT! Winchester Model 21 20 gauge side by side shotgun with Cody Firearms Museum letter. S/N is 16043 (consecutive numbers with the model 21 in the next lot). The gun was manufactured in May of 1941, and was shipped to Mrs. F.S. Markham of Altadena, California. It was originally a Standard Grade Skeet gun with 26" barrels, choked Winchester Skeet 1 and Winchester Skeet 1. Gun has single trigger, selective ejector, and Non-Automatic safety. In the 1980s the gun was acquired by The Gun Shop of Olathe, Kansas, and was shipped back to the Winchester Factory for repair. A new stock was installed (14" LOP, 1-1/2" DAC, 2" DAH), and the frame was reblued. A second barrel set was added (serial numbered to the gun), which is 28", choked Full and Modified. Gun is currently in Excellent condition - near 95% overall. Bluing on receivers and barrels is excellent, with no visible wear or blemishes. Stock has a few light nicks and handling marks (see pictures). Beavertail forend has a professionally repaired chip on the front right side. Mechanical condition is excellent - lockup is tight. Trigger and ejectors function as they should. Very Nice example of a Pre-War Model 21. It is consecutive serial numbers to the Model 21 being sold in the next lot. The guns are being offered separately, because they were not originally sold together. They will NOT be offered together as a set, so if you want them to stay together then please bid on both of them (fitted Americase for both guns is also being sold in lot #18). Local pickup on Fri. Winchester 21 20 ga. 2 barrel set - S/N 16044

Lot #15 (Sale Order 17 of 194)

SALE HIGHLIGHT! Winchester Model 21 20 gauge side by side shotgun with Cody Firearms Museum letter. S/N is 16044 (consecutive numbers to the Model 21 selling in the previous lot). This gun was manufactured in May of 1941, and was shipped to Abercrombie & Fitch Co. in New York City. Original configuration was a Standard Grade with 26" barrels choked IC and Modified. The gun was acquired by the Gun Shop of Olathe, Kansas in the 1980s, and was sent back to the Winchester Factory for modifications. Original barrels were repaired and refinished. Receiver was refinished. A second interchangeable barrel set with matching serial number was built (28" choked Modified and Improved Modified). A new stock was fitted to the gun (14" LOP, 1-1/2" DAC, 2" DAH). The gun is currently in Excellent overall condition - better than 95% overall. Stock has a few very small scuffs (see pictures). Bluing on barrels and receiver is excellent with no visible wear or other issues . Mechanical condition is excellent. Lockup is tight. Trigger and ejectors work as they should. Overall, this gun is a little bit nicer than the one in the previous lot, and it is a beautiful example of a Pre-War model 21. Gun is consecutive serial numbers to the Model 21 being sold in the previous lot. The guns are being offered separately, because they were not originally sold together. They will NOT be offered together as a set, so if you want them to stay together then please bid on both of them (Fitted Americase for both guns is also being sold in lot #18). Local pickup on Fri. ANTIQUE U.S. Springfield Model 1879 (made in 1885) Trapdoor Carbine chambered for .45-70 Government . 22" barrel. Very Good overall condition -approx. 80% overall. Stock has some nicks and scratches, but no visible cracks or chips. Metal has some blue loss and patina throughout. No deep rust or pitting. Bore is excellent - bright with good visible rifling.
