Japanese Type 94 War Damaged Pistol FFL # 37811 Lot #105 (Sale Order 6 of 217) This unusual Imperial Japanese WWII era Type 94 Nambu Semi-Auto Pistol was damaged in a US Napalm attack and brought back as a macabre war souvenir. Captured on Okinawa late in the war, the pistol was scorched and the 8mm cartridges in the magazine cooked off blowing off the grips. It was made in May of 1943 and though the pistol is no longer functional - it tells a fascinating story of the horrors of war! FFL # 37811

US Remington Pseudo M-1903A4 Sniper Rifle FFL # Lot #110 (Sale Order 11 of 217) This US Military WWII Remington Bolt Action started off as a M-1903A3 before being converted into a pseudo M-1903A4 Sniper Rifle. The bolt and stock were modified, and correct style base, rings and a Lyman Alaskan Scope were added to create a nearly identical copy of the famed WWII sniper. Barrel is a 1944 Remington, bore is very good as are the optics and military M-1907 sling. Story is this was a Vietnam War era conversion, but their is no provenance. German Contract Mauser Sawtooth Bayonet Lot #114 (Sale Order 15 of 217) This pre-WWI Imperial German Contract Mauser Sawtooth Bayonet is in very good condition complete with scabbard. These bayonets were used to cut down the stakes holding up barb wire, and also served as a status of rank with NCOs. Many of these bayonets ended up in Afghanistan, where they were sold as surplus to the Royal Afghan Army in the 1920s.

The very distinctive appearance led to its being called a "stick grenade", or a "potato masher" in British Army slang, and is today one of the most easily recognized infantry weapons of the 20th century. One of Europes first bolt action rifles, it was subsequently upgraded to a magazine repeater using the Vitali method and then modified into a Carcano by using the 1891 magazine mated to a 6.5x52mm sleeve barrel. These accurate 7.62x54 rifles were imported in the 1980s, and this one has a good bore and has a matching bolt. British Afghani Contract Martini Henry Artillery Short Rifle Lot #214 (Sale Order 114 of 217) This very rare British manufactured Royal Afghani Contract Martini Henry Artillery Short Rifle is in good condition with a very good bore. These rifles were used by the Royal Afghani Artillery Corp and were basically shortened versions of the British Martinis. It is a 450 caliber 2 bander with the Royal Afghani receiver cypher and all Dari markings. It is complete with cleaning rod and its only damage is a old stress crack in the wrist. This rifle came back from Afghanistan with a US Navy SEAL in 2005 - an interesting war souvenir to say the least.

"Odd Fellows" Fraternal Medal Lot #281 (Sale Order 181 of 217) This is an Antique IOOF(International Order of Odd Fellows) Chivalry medal brooch. It is circa 1940's and is in beautiful condition. There is a lil diamond(?) chip gem in the center of the top and the bottom is white enamel over what seems to be silver metal. There is also a puffy red heart with gold crown in the center. On the back reads "BE JUST MERCIFUL HONORABLE AND BRAVE". The clasp is "C" clasp style and works perfectly. It measures about 1 3/4" wide and 2 3/4" tall. Great piece for Odd Fellows collectors. Comes with pocket case.
