Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the description, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. Lot #5 (Sale Order 3 of 3105)

1935A $1 Silver Certificate North Africa WWII Emergency Currency Grades vf++. FR-2306 Signatures of Julian & Morgenthau. It was the darkest days of World War II, just after Pearl Harbor. Were the Nazis under Field Marshall Rommel preparing a massive push through North Africa? If they did, and succedded, they could use the millions of dollars in currency the seized to buy war material. To thwart this, these Silver Certificates were sent to North Africa. Each has a yellow seal on the front. If the Nazis did succeed to over run our expeditiary force, the currency would be demonetized. After the threat passed, most of these "North Africa" Notes were destroyed. Today they're hard to find.

***Auction Highlight*** Original sealed 1962 United States Mint Proof Set Tennessee Valley Hoard (Fc

Lot #35 (Sale Order 17 of 3105)

***Auction Highlight*** Original sealed 1962 United States Mint Proof Set Tennessee Valley Hoard. Once in a lifetime collection We are proud to bring to auction the greatest proof collection of the late 1950s and early 1960s. This collection may contain some of the only unopened mega boxes of unopened proof sets still in existence. In all my years in numismatics I have never seen a collection like this one. Finding cameo and deep cameo proofs from this era is near impossible u less you pay full retail and buy them already holdered. All of the sets at coin shows have been examined and have virtually no cameos. The only way to get the same odds of finding one of these valuable cameos is to buy an unopened set. Many sets today that are purported to be unopened have a actually been opened and resealed or put into a fresh envelope and sealed. This 100% original lot is guaranteed to be unopened from the day it left the mint. We will cover your laboratory costs and pay you 10x your cost of the set if the carbon dating on this set shows that the glue is not from the late 1950s 1960s. A true once in a lifetime opportunity

Lot #52 (Sale Order 24 of 3105)

*EXCLUSIVE* x20 Mixed Covered End Roll! Marked "Morgan/Peace Standard"! - Huge Vault Hoard (FC). Up for auction is a (20 coin roll marked “Morgan/Peace Standard” and having two covered ends and weighing 523.8g), one roll amongst the 2700+ roll hoard which after seeing it can only be described as the Long Island Vault Hoard. Inside the vault are hundreds upon hundreds of dollar rolls. Some are 10 coin rolls some are 20, most are hand marked as to what’s inside and most have covered ends. We have opened about 20 of the rolls and have not found any that were mismarked. The vault at one point I believe had the rolls separated into three sections. The markings standard, premium, limited were marked on the sections. Additionally there was a small safe inside the vault marked “Reserve”. But when we first the saw the hoard, the sections were empty as was the small safe. It appeared that at some point the rolls were all put into canvas bank bags, which bags were all lying on the floor of the vault. The agreement with for the Consignee is that we wire on Friday their portion of the funds for any rolls paid that week and on Mondays we will send our runner up to Long Island to retrieve the rolls for shipment that week from our offices as well as photographing the rolls for the next weeks auction. We hope you enjoy these rolls as much as we have bringing them to you.

**Star Note** 1963 $5 Red Seal United States Note Grades vf++

Lot #61 (Sale Order 31 of 3105)

**Star Note** 1963 $5 Red Seal United States Note Grades vf++. FR-1536* Each 1963 five dollar red seal bill has serial number written in red ink. There is a red seal on the right hand side of the bill. All 1963 red seals were printed in Washington DC and feature a portrait of Abraham Lincoln in the center of the bill. You can also find the following wording on each bill, “United States Note, The United States of America, This Note Is A Legal Tender At Its Face Value For All Debts Public And Private, Will Pay To The Bearer On Demand Five Dollars” When notes are discovered that have been printed incorrectly (such as having the serial numbers upside down, etc.) the misprinted "error notes" are replaced with star notes because no two bills within a certain series can be produced with the same serial number. They are used to maintain a correct count of notes in a serial number run. By their nature, star notes are more scarce than notes with standard serial numbers and as such are widely collected by numismatists. Some of the highest prices paid for modern (post-1928) U.S. banknotes have been for star notes. Each 1963 five dollar red seal bill has serial number written in red ink. There is a red seal on the right hand side of the bill. All 1963 red seals were printed in Washington DC and feature a portrait of Abraham Lincoln in the center of the bill. Lot #76 (Sale Order 37 of 3105)

High Value! - Covered End Roll - Marked " Peace Reserve" - Weight shows x10 Coins (FC). Up for auction is a (10 coin roll marked “Peace Reserve” and having two covered ends and weighing 268.2g), one roll amongst the 2700+ roll hoard which after seeing it can only be described as the Long Island Vault Hoard.

Civil War Era Boston, Hartford & Erie Railroad $35 Note Grades Select CU

Lot #83 (Sale Order 43 of 3105)

Civil War Era Boston, Hartford & Erie Railroad $35 Note Grades Select CU. One hundred and fifty years ago, in June 1863, the Boston, Hartford & Erie Railroad was incorporated with the goal of forming a gateway to western markets for New England goods and of bringing coal from Pennsylvania into New England by way of Newburgh, New York, to Waterbury, Connecticut, and beyond. Its lofty goal disintegrated when it came under the control of “as ribald a bunch of crooks as railroad history has ever produced,” wrote D.W. McLaughlin in his article “Poughkeepsie Gateway,” for the October 1968 issue of the Bulletin of the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society. The railroad ran into a myriad of troubles, including the realization that building an east-west route across Connecticut would involve navigating the state’s ridge lines, the problem of aligning with the non-standard gauge of track on the Erie Railroad (the western line it would hook up with once the railroad cars crossed the Hudson River), and the lack of a bridge for which to travel over the river. That apparently did not stop the railroad’s promoters from selling stock in the line, which they proceeded to mercilessly raid and pillage. The legislature of the state of Massachusetts was persuaded to give $3,000,000 in grants, odd in that the bulk of the railroad didn’t actually travel in that state, as it went into Connecticut. By the time the graft caught up with all the players, in 1870, the railroad was in bankruptcy with a mere $10.00 left in its accounts, Massachusetts was out all of the money it invested, and very little actual railroad track was ever laid. The remaining assets were transferred to the receivers of the New York & New England Railroad, who rerouted the railroad line from New York City to Boston and eventually became part of the New Haven Railroad system.

Sealed 2006 United States Mint Set in Original Government Shipped Box, Never Opened! 20 Coins Inside!. The 2006 Mint Set continued the use of the new satin finish that had been introduced for the product in the prior year. This year also marked the “Return to Monticello” for the Jefferson Nickel, which saw its original reverse design restored, paired with a new obverse design from Jamie Franki. Each set would include a total of 20 coins with a face value of $5.82. Satin finish examples from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints were included for the Sacagawea Dollar, Kennedy Half Dollar, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel, and Lincoln Cent. Continuing to be a highlight of the annual coin set were the five State Quarters. The 2006 releases honored Nevada, Nebraska, Colorado, North Dakota, and South Dakota, which were the thirty-sixth to fortieth states to join the union. Packaging remained within a similar style with the coins included in four different mylar packs. Two represented coins from the Philadelphia Mint, while the other two represented coins from the Denver Mint. These were placed along with a certificate of authenticity into illustrated outer envelopes, which featured depictions of the Liberty Bell and the mountains of Colorado. Original sealed 1961 United States Mint Proof Set Tennessee Valley Hoard

Lot #111 (Sale Order 54 of 3105)

Original sealed 1961 United States Mint Proof Set Tennessee Valley Hoard.

Lot #148 (Sale Order 72 of 3105)

*EXCLUSIVE* x10 Morgan Covered End Roll! Marked "Unc Morgan Standard"! - Huge Vault Hoard (FC). Up for auction is a (10 coin roll marked “Unc Morgan Standard” and having two covered ends and weighing 270.1g), one roll amongst the 2700+ roll hoard which after seeing it can only be described as the Long Island Vault Hoard.

Civil War Era Boston, Hartford & Erie Railroad $35 Note Grades Select CU

Lot #158 (Sale Order 79 of 3105)

Original sealed 1963 United States Mint Proof Set Tennessee Valley Hoard

Lot #183 (Sale Order 89 of 3105)

Original sealed 1963 United States Mint Proof Set Tennessee Valley Hoard.

Sealed 2007 United States Mint Set in Original Government Shipped Box, Never Opened! 20 Coins Inside

Lot #246 (Sale Order 113 of 3105)

Sealed 2007 United States Mint Set in Original Government Shipped Box, Never Opened! 20 Coins Inside!. Starting with the 2007 Mint Set significantly altered the packaging to coincide with the launch of the Presidential Dollars series, which had the impact of boosting the number of coins per set to 28, compared to 20 coins in the previous year. The sets were the first to include the uncirculated versions of the first four releases of the Presidential $1 Coin Program was highlighted. The Presidents depicted were George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. Their portraits appeared on the obverse of each coin with a common portrayal of the Statue of Liberty on the reverse. The coin series featured incused edge lettering, which contained the date, mint mark, and the mottoes “E Pluribus Unum” and “In God We Trust”. The 2007 Mint Sets also included the next five designs released for the State Quarters Program, featuring Montana, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah. The remaining coins were the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, Kennedy Half Dollar, and Sacagawea Dollar. All coins continued to utilize the satin finish, which had been introduced for the annual set in 2005. Around this time, the US Mint began to refer to the satin finish versions as “uncirculated versions”. The sets were now packaged in two separate blister pack folders. The outer flap included illustrations of the Denver and Philadelphia skylines. Folders opened to reveal 14 coins from each mint, sealed in individual blisters which allowed both sides of the coins, as well as the edges to be seen. The back side of the flap included coin specification information and a certification of authenticity. Get your hands on this never opened 2007 mint set!

Lot #255 (Sale Order 117 of 3105)

1935A $1 Silver Certificate North Africa WWII Emergency Currency Grades vf, very fine

Lot #269 (Sale Order 122 of 3105)

1935A $1 Silver Certificate North Africa WWII Emergency Currency Grades vf, very fine.

The difference between these notes is the signature combination. Each bill is clearly marked as to what series it is from Small-size $5 Silver Certificates were issued with series dates of 1934 and 1953. Original sealed 1964 United States Mint Proof Set Tennessee Valley Hoard

Lot #303 (Sale Order 137 of 3105)

Original sealed 1964 United States Mint Proof Set Tennessee Valley Hoard.

Lot #329 (Sale Order 143 of 3105)

**Star Note** 1935F $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificate Grades vf, very fine. FR-1615 Priest-Adnerson When notes are discovered that have been printed incorrectly (such as having the serial numbers upside down, etc.) the misprinted "error notes" are replaced with star notes because no two bills within a certain series can be produced with the same serial number. They are used to maintain a correct count of notes in a serial number run. By their nature, star notes are more scarce than notes with standard serial numbers and as such are widely collected by numismatists. Some of the highest prices paid for modern (post-1928) U.S. banknotes have been for star notes Silver Certificates were redeemable in Silver. One of their most distinctive qualities is the blue Treasury seal and serial numbers. These notes include an additional legend printed on the face that is not present on any other Federal Reserve notes. The legend states that Silver had been deposited in the Treasury and was payable on demand to the note’s bearer.

1923 2nd Issue Weimar Germany 20,000 Marks Hyperinflation Banknote P# 85a Grades vf++

Lot #347 (Sale Order 152 of 3105)

1923 2nd Issue Weimar Germany 20,000 Marks Hyperinflation Banknote P# 85a Grades vf++. In the early 1920s, post-WWI Germany saw its economy spiraling out of control. Hyperinflation started directly after the war in 1918, but truly took over the Weimar Republic from 1921 to 1923. The value of the Mark declined incredibly rapidly. 1 USD was equal to 50 German Marks at the beginning of 1920. Toward the end of 1923, 1 USD was equal to over 4,200,000,000,000 German Marks. At times, denominations of the Mark became less valuable than the paper and labor to print it almost immediately after printing. Thus, denominations of the Mark notes became incredibly large, ending up in the tens of trillions.

1934A $10 Silver Certificate North Africa WWII Emergency Currency Grades vf++

Lot #353 (Sale Order 155 of 3105)

1934A $10 Silver Certificate North Africa WWII Emergency Currency Grades vf++. FR-2309 Signatures of Julian & Morgenthau.

*EXCLUSIVE* x10 Mixed Covered End Roll! Marked "Morgan/Peace Standard"! - Huge Vault Hoard (FC)

Lot #388 (Sale Order 170 of 3105)

*EXCLUSIVE* x10 Mixed Covered End Roll! Marked "Morgan/Peace Standard"! - Huge Vault Hoard (FC). Up for auction is a (10 coin roll marked “Morgan/Peace Standard” and having two covered ends and weighing 263.6g), one roll amongst the 2700+ roll hoard which after seeing it can only be described as the Long Island Vault Hoard.

*EXCLUSIVE* Hand Marked " Morgan Limited," x20 coin Covered End Roll! - Huge Vault Hoard (FC)

Lot #436 (Sale Order 192 of 3105)

*EXCLUSIVE* Hand Marked " Morgan Limited," x20 coin Covered End Roll! - Huge Vault Hoard (FC). Up for auction is a (20 coin roll marked “Morgan Limited” and having two covered ends and weighing 527.8g), one roll amongst the 2700+ roll hoard which after seeing it can only be described as the Long Island Vault Hoard.

**Star Note** 1963 $5 Red Seal United States Note Grades vf+

Lot #449 (Sale Order 198 of 3105)

**Star Note** 1963 $5 Red Seal United States Note Grades vf+. You can also find the following wording on each bill, “United States Note, The United States of America, This Note Is A Legal Tender At Its Face Value For All Debts Public And Private, Will Pay To The Bearer On Demand Five Dollars”
