Swiss K1911 Long Straight Pull Rifle 7.5x55 Lot #20 (Sale Order 20 of 600) Up Next We Have a Swiss K1911 Long Straight Pull Rifle Chambered in 7.5x55, Bakelite Charging Handle, Overall Appears in Great Condition, Matching Visible Numbers. An improvement over the original M1889 version of the Schmidt-Rubin rifle, the Swiss M1911 placed the locking lugs in the middle of the bolt -rather than at the rear- strengthening the action and allowing a more powerful cartridge, the Gewehrpatrone 11 or GP11, to be used. It is distinguished from the 96/11 rifle by a curved butt plate and by a stock with an integral semi-pistol grip. It uses a graduated tangent sight which begins at 300 meters. The 1911 and 96/11 rifles are characterized by exceptional accuracy and were made with excellent craftsmanship. The fact that Switzerland remained neutral through both world wars ensured that they are in far better condition, on average, than the rifles of other European nations from that vintage. This is the long variation of the K1911 rifle with the 30.75" barrel and should not be confused with the carbine version which was a later generation rifle. This is one of the most accurate rifles ever made. The Swiss are renowned for their quality workmanship and attention to detail, and the Swiss soldiers typically took very good care to keep their rifles functional and serviceable. However, they used their rifles and carried them in training in very harsh weather conditions. As such it is very typical for the external surfaces of Swiss surplus rifles to be well used and you can expect these rifles to have a lot of dents and dings or very minor cracks in the stock.

TM-62 Russian Anti-Tank Mine Demilled Lot #25 (Sale Order 25 of 600) Up Next We Have a TM-62 Russian Anti-Tank Mine That is Demilled, The TM-62 is the designation for a series of Soviet anti-tank blast mines. The mines have a central fuze and typically have a 7.5 kg explosive charge, however, they vary greatly in detail. The mines can be laid manually or automatically from a mine laying machine including the PMR-1, PMR-2 wheeled towed mine layers, the GMZ tracked minelaying vehicle, and the VMR-2 helicopter mine laying system. In a static test, the TM-62M proved capable of penetrating the hull of a Centurion tank, killing the simulated crew of animals inside. The TM-62 series of mines can be fitted with the same fuzes as the TM-72 series of mines, which include MVN-72 and MVN-80 fuzes which are vibration and magnetism sensitive. Variants TM-62M - The TM-62M uses a circular metal case. It is the most widely employed of the TM-62 series of mines. TM-62B - The TM-62B paper or cardboard case and is basically a block of cast explosive with a fuze set into the center. TM-62D - The TM-62D uses a wooden case. TM-62P, TM-62P2, TM-62P3 - all 3 types use plastic cases. However, the TM-62P and TM-62P2 mine cases have ribbed sides, whereas the TM-62P3 has a smooth casing. TM-62T - The TM-62T has a fabric and epoxy casing, with a central fuze. Fuzes MVZ-62 MVCh-62 - The MVCh-62 uses a clockwork arming delay of 30 to 120 seconds. MVN-62 MVN-72 - The MVN-72 fuze uses a combination of electronics and clockwork, after an initial arming delay the magnetic influence fuze is enabled, powered by a 1.5 V battery. MVN-80 - The MVN-80 is an improved version of the MVN-72 fuze. VM-62Z MVP-62 - The MVP-62 uses a pneumatic bellows arming delay of 20 to 300 seconds. The delay mechanism uses a minimum of metal making it difficult to detect when used with one of the minimum metal cases. MVP-62M ZN-97 - magnetic influence fuze (made in Poland). Note: magnetic influence fuzes give full-width attack i.e. any part of the target vehicle passing over the mine will trigger detonation, not just the track or wheels. However, since magnetic fuzes are electronic, their operational life relies on battery power. Ultimately the battery will run down, after which the mine no longer functions. In contrast, a purely mechanical fuze (usually triggered via a belleville spring) gives a much longer operational life e.g. mines planted 50 years previously will still detonate if a target vehicle drives over them.

The S&W .38 Hand Ejector, fixed sight service revolver has, in one form or another, been a best seller in the S&W revolver line since 1899. The Military and Police tag was added immediately after the gun's introduction, as a result of an 1899 order from the U.S. military for thousands of Smith & Wesson's new revolvers in the then U.S. service standard .38 Long Colt caliber. In addition, in 1899 S&W introduced a new caliber in the M&P, the .38 Special. (The actual bullet diameter is .357"). This was an enlarged and more powerful cartridge designed to address the stopping power deficiencies of the .38 Long Colt service cartridge. The M&P revolver and the .38 Special cartridge have been associated ever since. As a historical note, the S&W Military and Police was engaged in an intense competition with Colt's best selling Police Positive Special service revolver for both the civilian and police markets during the first half of the 20th Century. Ultimately, S&W finally achieved market dominance due to their ability to undersell Colt.

Spanish Civil War Mauser M1916 Short Rifle 7.62 Lot #84 (Sale Order 84 of 600) Up Next We Have a Spanish Civil War Mauser M1916 Short Rifle Chambered in 7.62, This Spanish rifle is Dated 1922, Overall Appears in Good Condition. The Model 1893 Spanish Mauser was developed into several variants, including a shortened carbine adopted by the Spanish as the M1895 - M1913 - M1916 short rifles. All versions of the rifle saw extensive service in the Spanish Army, beginning in the Spanish–American War in 1898, the Rif War of 1920–1927, and the Spanish Civil War of 1936–1939. The M1916 short rifles remained in production in Spain until 1951. Unmarked Spanish rifles, with only a serial number (no receiver date or arsenal stamps) are rifles that were refurbished during the 1931-36 period, before the Spanish Civil War, by the old Government arsenals (Oviedo, Toledo etc.). The refurbishing consisted of cutting a deeper thumb notch for charger loading, and drilling/milling the gas relief holes in the Receivers. Bolts also had longer oval gas holes when made new from the late 1920s onwards. The Model 1916 Short Rifle (22" barrel) was first adopted on November 14, 1916 to replace the M1895 carbine, the short barrels of which were not optimized to take advantage of the higher velocity of the M1913 cartridge.

Rare W Clauberg Solingen Officer Presentation Swor Lot #107 (Sale Order 107 of 600) W. Clauberg Solingen Civil War Officer Presentation Sword- Beyond rare, this sword is truly and literally unique. I searched a couple hours on the Internet for the pattern on the Guard, I see the Eagle pattern everywhere but not this one with what appears as two women (look closely on the guard decor) wanted to say M1860 pattern but you be the judge! Wilhelm Clauberg was a sword maker and steel manufacturer in the Gasstrasse in Solingen, Prussia. His firm supplied edged weapons to most of the civilized world throughout the 19th century. The firm’s origins date back to around 1810. The numbers of swords Clauberg supplied to the Union Army is incalculable. Surviving specimens would seem to indicate that Clauberg was likely the most prolific supplier from Solingen. This Beautiful Sword appears as a double edge sword, very pointed tip with a blade approx 32" in length, overall length is approx 38", The blade was etched scroll design but not real legible now, The handle appears to have been made from shark skin, on the guard shows "US" in a floral etch. The scabbard has is ornately gold color design, wish I could offer, more this one has me stumped..please refer to pictures when bidding this lot, very beautiful and unique.

It was officially adopted as a United States military bolt-action rifle on June 19, 1903, and saw service in World War I. It was officially replaced as the standard infantry rifle by the faster-firing semi-automatic eight-round M1 Garand starting in 1936. However, the M1903 Springfield remained in service as a standard issue infantry rifle during World War II, since the U.S. entered the war without sufficient M1 rifles to arm all troops. It also remained in service as a sniper rifle during World War II, the Korean War, and even in the early stages of the Vietnam War. It remains popular as a civilian firearm, historical collector's piece, a competitive shooting rifle, and as a military drill rifle.

FN Belgium Browning Hi-Power Semi Auto Pistol 9MM Lot #191 (Sale Order 191 of 600) Up Next we have a FN Belgium Browning Hi-Power Semi Auto Pistol Chambered in 9MM, Serial 71512, Comes with Two Magazines, and a Black Leather Holster, and this Pistol appears in Great Condition, The Right Slide is marked “ Fabrique National D'armes De Guerre Herstal Belgique " and Belgian proofs. It is based on a design by American firearms inventor John Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive at Fabrique Nationale (FN) of Herstal, Belgium. Browning died in 1926, several years before the design was finalized. The Hi-Power is one of the most widely used military pistols in history, having been used by the armed forces of over 50 countries. After 82 years of continuous production, the Hi-Power was finally discontinued in 2017. The Hi Power name alludes to the 13-round magazine capacity, almost twice that of contemporary designs such as the Luger or Colt M1911. The pistol is often referred to as an HP (for "Hi-Power" or "High-Power"), GP (for the French term, "Grande Puissance") BAP (Browning Automatic Pistol) or BHP (Browning High-Power). The terms P-35 and HP-35 are also used, based on the introduction of the pistol in 1935. It is most often called the "Hi Power", even in Belgium.
