Japanese Wakizashi sword with scabbard and knife. Excellent sword with solid and quality mounts overall. Kashira in bronze with an embossed black and gold lacquer riding on horseback. Tsuba in bronze with black finish and gilt highlights inlaid, a scenic depiction of a wise elder under a willow tree and youth. Single Seppa spacer. Menuki in matching fashion designs with a black and gold highlighted depiction of a leaf with zoomorphic creature. Fuchi in bronze with black finish and gold of a samurai in the ocean. Ray skin grip with old tightly wrapped cotton over. Size 30" L, Blade L 22", Knife 3 3/4" L, weight 972g. Condition: Wear throughout commensurate with age and use. English Civil War Dog Lock Pistol, 17th C.

Rare English Civil War Dog Lock flintlock pistol. 17th century. Barrel octagonal to round with a poof mark to the left side reading (EK). Exposed spring firing mechanism with a dark brown wood stock. Replaced ramrod. Size 23" L, Barrel 17 1/8" L Extensively used during the 17th century by the Royalist and Parliamentarian cavalry of the English Civil War. Many engagements of the war where cavalry played a key role in the battle. Cavalry wearing lobster tail helmets and cuirass or breastplates would use this form of pistol.

Blade marked with white pigment to the ricasso (M100) and numerals below. Guard in brass with three bars to the fitted pommel. Leather grip with twisted brass wire. Marked to the guard (D.C.B. 98). Leather sword knot / tassel in good condition with minor wear. Iberian Peninsula, Spanish Colonial 18th century cup hilt sword / rapier. Popularized during maritime use by Spain a so-called "Caribbean Cup Hilt" because some were partially made in the colonies. This example with a horn handle lightly turned with horizontal craving to the grip. Short length with a wide set of quillion and a typical round bowl with D shaped guard. Probably such an example where the blade was imported from Spain and assembled with a guard made in the colonies. Used throughout the Caribbean, Philippines, and Mexico. South Asia, Himalayas, Nepal, early example of a Kora with characteristic (elephant ear) blade inlaid to it's forward section with four brass inset circular decorations, stippled and inlaid to the ricasso and back in an intricate and innumerable group of red inlaid squares and triangles surrounded by geometric patterns with faint signs of worn etching to remainder of blade. The top of the blade is wrapped with a brass fitting, circular iron crossguard and a red felt with twine grip between another circular iron disc below the pommel. Pommel pierced to its base and of a turned series of circular shapes. Size 27 1/2" L, blade 19 1/4" L. Condition: Fine with wear to all components typical for age and use. French XIII Model 1811 Calvary Pistol w/Napoleonic Era Percussion Conversion

Percussion conversion with a light wood body with brass trim. The Model 1811 pistol was used extensively by the French military during the Napoleonic Wars (early 19th century). The pistol was developed during the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte as a replacement for the earlier flintlock pistols used by the French military. It was designed to incorporate advancements in firearm technology, including the use of percussion caps to ignite the gunpowder. The standard caliber for the Model 1811 pistol It saw service in various campaigns, including the Peninsular War, the Russian Campaign, and the Waterloo Campaign. After Napoleon's defeat at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, the Model 1811 pistol remained in use with French military units for some time. Size 14" L, barrel 7 3/4" L, smooth barrel of .70 caliber bore.. Condition: Wear and surface scratches commensurate with age.

Struck with a makers mark to the center of the breastplates lower Fauld above a large brass rivet. All original oversized brass rivets approximately 30 in total. Remnants of the original leather liner and edges. Reverse coated with a thin blue paint for preservation. Size 14" H x 13 1/2" W. With the advent of firearms the shield became ineffective and most were retired or traded after their extended life and use in battle. Size 37 1/4" H.
