Original U.S. WW2 Era M69 Training/Practice Cartridge for M2 60mm Mortar-Inert. It measures 9 5/8" Long x 2 3/8" Wide and the Total Weight is 4 lbs 6 oz. These are hard to find WWII Era M69 Training / Practice rounds, as used with the U.S. WWII issue M2 60mm Mortar. This mortar also continued to be used during the Korean war, and into the Vietnam era. The training round itself is a shell with a cast iron body, inert filler, and detachable fin assembly used to train recruits in firing. The cast iron body is reusable and the fin assembly can be replaced if damaged. These were usually refinished and painted almost after every training session, but this one appears to have never been repainted. The fin assembly appears to be without damage and does not have a date stamped into it. COLLECTIBLE WORLD WAR II MEMORABILIA

XL Reproduction 1908 Winchester Shells Advertisement. It is entitled "Shoot Them and Avoid Trouble". It is in a nice 49" Wide x 39" Tall wooden Frame. The print was supposed to be a humorous portrayal of a skunk being prodded out of a hollow log. An African-American father and his son, along with their dog, are reacting to the skunk as it emerges from the log and raises its tail; ironically their shotgun is propped against the log, just out of reach. At the top of the print in skeleton lettering is "Winchester Loaded Shotgun Shells". At the bottom of the print in skeleton lettering is "Shoot Them and Avoid Trouble". The picture is flanked by "The W Brand" logo. When the advertisement was originally released in 1908 it proved to be too controversial because of the misinterpreted tag line. Winchester recalled them to trim off the wording. Later in 1936 they were re-released with just the image. It is in excellent condition. COLLECTIBLE HUNTING AND GUN ADVERTISEMENTS

Original WW2 Japanese Silk Yosegaki Hinomaru "Good Luck Flag" from the 1940s. This Glass and Wood Frame is double sided and measures 39" Tall x 32" Wide. You could hang this from the ceiling for a view of both sides. A "yosegaki Himomaru' translates as a "Good Luck Flag" or "Inscribed Hinomaru", is a traditional Silk Japanese flag given to servicemen before deployment. It was given particularly during the military campaigns of the Empire of Japan during World War II. This national flag was a traditional gift signed with short messages from friends, families, and loved ones wishing the soldier victory, safety, and good luck. This Hinomaru is special because the dialect written is so old, it is not used in current day Japan. 1950's "Teddy and the Bear Bank" (Teddy Roosevelt). It is an early reproduction (Taiwan) Cast Iron mechanical bank. These wonderful action packed penny banks originated in the late 1800s. They were designed to teach kids that saving was fun. This penny bank is an authentic working reproduction of the original antique. Molds were skillfully made by professional craftsmen and hand cast like the originals. Then the bank was assembled and carefully decorated by hand. It measures approximately 9.75" Long x 3" Wide x 9.5" Tall and Weighs 5 lbs 5 oz. Teddy will shoot the coin into the tree knot but the bear will not spring down into the tree. Seemingly an easy fix with patience. The paint is in good condition and appropriate for age. Requires some patience to get the bears head back in the tree.
