This metal figure was manufactured by the Miller Dubrul & Peters Co. of Cincinnati in 1875. It is an extremely rare figure and an example of same was featured in the 1953 Pendergast and Ware book "Cigar Store Figures in American Folk Art". There is a lot of damage to this item, but due to its rarity it is still VERY valuable. Condition as follows; The tomahawk is not authentic there is probably no original paint remaining. Both arms have probably been broken and bands have been placed around the biceps. Both legs have been broken with old repair work done. The head feathers are not believed to be authentic. Also, there are several casting cracks here and there. All in all this is still a great piece and worthy of total restoration. It is currently mounted on steel stand, old but not original to the Indian. Height 72" to top of arm, add 6 1/2" for metal stand 21 1/2" x 25" at base of stand

The White Frost refrigerator or ice box was the only round refrigerator manufactured. Made by the Metal Stamping Co. of Jackson Michigan from 1906 until the 1920's. It held 100 lbs of ice which was loaded in the upper compartment and the lower compartment has wire shelves to hold food and perishables. This box has an older restoration featuring a Moosehead Beer theme with hand painted graphics. The wire shelves and Ice holder in the top are intact. Measures 48" tall and 28" in diameter.

There is a 3" crack on flat area in back above and to the left of the chimney outlet (see last 2 photos for location), but would be an easy fix if stove was going to be used, otherwise, hardly noticeable. Appears complete including ash pan and side hand crank. The cast iron is in good condition and the nickel plating is in fair condition. The window mica appears to be the original. The Fairyland carousel came from White City Amusement Park in Chicago which operated from 1905-1939.

Large framed oil on canvas under glass of a stag elk in the mountains (after Monarch of the Glen) advertisement for OFC Whiskey. Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. established the O.F.C. (Old Fire Copper) Distillery in 1869-1870 on the banks of the Kentucky River outside of Frankfort. He was known for his innovative distilling technologies and fermentation techniques. George T. Stagg purchased the O.F.C. Distillery in 1878 and later renamed it the George T. Stagg Distillery in 1904. This painting dates from circa 1900. In overall excellent condition. The painting is under glass and shows no signs of damage, touch up, or deterioration. It is signed Tweed Rau Co. Chicago in the lower right hand corner. The image size is 47" tall, 35" wide. The wood frame is of multi later construction with original gold finish is in excellent original condition. It measures 64" tall, 52" wide, 4.5" deep. We seldom see these large scale advertisements in this fine of condition. If you need a focal piece for your saloon or above a fireplace, don't miss this one.

We will connect you with reputable transport companies after the auction* You are looking at a 1950 Willys-Overland Jeepster, a 4-cylinder model designed by famed industrial designer Brooks Stevens. The Jeepster’s brief three-year run (1948-1950) as the last true Phaeton automobile. The Phaeton style, from its carriage roots to its automotive zenith, embodied open air freedom and luxury. Its decline by the 1950s, capped by Brooks stevens Jeepster, marked the end of an era. Featuring an older amateur restoration on bodywork and refinishing. The convertible top is in good condition with the rear plastic window in fair to good condition with a few light scuffs. The glass is good all-around with a light wiper scuff in the right-front plate glass. Good tires, original wheel covers and trim rings including spare. All of the exterior chrome including bumpers are bright and in good condition, with just a few light scuffs and scratches. The vehicle appears to have all of the exterior trim. The interior looks original or an older recover but in good condition. The engine compartment is clean with a new battery, new master cylinder, new overdrive solenoid and the 4-cylinder engine has been rebuilt. Several new gauges have been installed to go with the rebuild. Some of the wiring has been replaced and the suspension shocks were replaced several years back. The underside indicates some body rust has been repaired with some rust still existing. Please look at photos and inspect vehicle. Remember, this is a 1950 Jeepster, making the vehicle 75 years old. It is in much better condition than a lot of vehicles driving on the road every day. Today, surviving Phaetons are cherished relics, celebrated for their design purity and connection to motoring’s early days. This is fun vehicle to enjoy!

This magnificent chandelier is one of six matching fixtures that were installed in the Goodman Auditorium located in Virginia, Minnesota, in 1920. The 1500 seat Goodman was called the Carnegie Hall of the Midwest because of its excellent acoustics. The last performance was held on May 20, 2023. The building is currently being readied for demolition. The chandelier is a classic pre depression 3 tier type found in large auditoriums, movie palaces, and large commercial buildings. The iron and steel structure is hung from 6 heavy cascading chains with each chain having an ornamental break in the center. The top tier has a pierced ornamental gallery with 24 standard base lamps and measures 56" in diameter. The second tier has 8 standard base lamps and measures 22" in diameter. The bottom tier has a 6 standard base cluster with a 10" finial of formed metal acanthus leaves. Overall height of the fixture is 106". This does not include the 10" ceiling canopy or the hoist pipe which is included. The chandelier can have a longer drop by adding chain between the canopy ring and the fixture ring. The fixture has recently been rewired and is ready to go. The weight is estimated at 300 lbs. Seldom do these fixtures ever come up for sale as most of these buildings are now landmarked and the cost to reproduce a chandelier of this quality and size would be out of the question.

Circa 1918 Regina Hexaphone Model 103 in VG original condition. The Hexaphone was the first commercially successful coin operated cylinder phonograph that offered a selection (hex for 6 records). Made by the Regina Co. of Rahway NJ. This is a nice original machine. The oak cabinet has the original finish. Oak horn is VG with no splits or cracks. The bottom piece of the hinged lid has been replaced and the locking bar is not there so the lid will no longer lock. The door has the original lock and key. The interior cash box and cash box door are missing. The 6 cylinder mechanism accepts coins (5c), allows manual selection, winds, plays, and shuts down properly. The oak marquee and show card are high quality reproductions. Measures 49" tall (add 14" for removable marquee), 24" wide, 17" deep.

This large impressive cabinet featuring a crossbanded king wood and inlaid with satin wood stringing line and with Ebonized trim. The lid finely inlaid with a musical trophy in varicolored fruitwood within an oval. There is some loose and damaged trim on the top cover as well as nicks, scrapes and dents and some finish loss mainly at the base of the cabinet. See photos. It has 2 large decorative carrying handles. Inside the top cover is a copy of the original tune card. The original tune card is present and has been laminated for safe keeping. The glass dust cover appears to be a replacement. The lever wound two spring mechanism features a 17-1/2" L cylinder approximately 2-1/2" diameter. The mechanism has its original nickel plating is a bit dirty in average condition. Combs are a bit dirty with minor surface rust with one visible broken comb tip. The mechanism winds and runs but is a bit temperamental when starting and stopping and is in need of some adjustment. The tune indicator is missing its pointer hand.. The mechanism also has a zither attachment which is missing its pad and has been moved out of the way and no longer functional. The case dimensions are 34-1/2" L X 15-1/4" W X 10" H. This machine in the right hands after proper restoration could be a great treasure. Also included is an appraisal from February 1985 most likely for insurance purposes.

The cabinet with its elaborate details are all nicely in tact and original to the piece. The front features 4 elaborate stained glass panels that are beautiful and nicely in tact. The pediment is outfitted with its original wonder light. See photos. The upper back access panel in the rear is missing. Has its original key tops slightly discolored and otherwise in good condition. This piano has evidence of an older restoration and is in playing condition. This Orchestrion features piano, mandolin, flute pipes, bass drum, snare drum, and triangle. This also features an ingenious roll changing mechanism. This mech consists of a carousel of 6 music rolls. It comes with a total 7 rolls 6 of which are on the carousel in the piano and one loose one. The bottom of the piano has its original coin mech, motor and pump all of which are in good condition. Orchestrion measures 7'9" T X 5'4" W X 2' 5" D. Weighs approximately 1500 pounds. This attractive machine in its oak cabinet has attractive iron castings several of which feature the Mills Co. owl trademark as well as lion heads all of which have been replated in oxidized copper. It sits atop 4 ball and claw legs. It is our opinion that the marquee and the majority, if not the entire oak cabinet, has been recreated and copied completely from the original. Looks and presents well as it is. The spring wound mechanism appears to be unrestored and appears to be fairly complete with most of its parts. However may be missing some pieces. There are no viewing cards. Has one cabinet key. This machine with the marquee measures 72" T X 16" D X 20" W.

This machine in its desirable case featuring Indians with eagles has been completely restored and repainted. This heavy cast iron cabinet appears to be the original castings with the exception of the eagle on the front of the coin drawer. It is most likely recast from an original eagle. The cast iron marquee is lighted at the top and the advertising card features "California or Bust". The marquee card matches the reel. This machine operates properly with a U,S. 25 cent coin. The crank operated mechanism runs smoothly showing the reel that matches the marquee, The reel is slightly risque with images of a scantily clad woman who is pictured in the marquee. There are no cabinet keys. A real beauty and great addition to any collection. The machine measures to the top of the marquee 78" T X 18" X 18" at the base.

This model features a stationary red and white round porcelain "pole" with no glass cylinder as with the later revolving pole model. There is a light at the top. In overall VG original condition with very minor porcelain chips and paint splatters on the pole. The pole has had no repairs or touch ups. The top and bottom caps have several coats of heavy paint. The original brass Theo. Kochs tag is still intact under the paint. The original wall mount brackets are present. Has a milk glass fitter light shade on top. The pole is in the same condition as when it was removed from the unknown Barber Shop over 50 years ago. This pole has been in the Barber Shop display at the Wild West Town Museum in Union IL since 1974.

This carving dates to the 1900-1915 period and was most likely done by Charles Carmel for Looff. In overall very good condition with an older restoration. The original glass eyes are intact, no obvious chips or repairs save for 2 strap iron braces on the back of the tail near the floor. Batwing seat. This may be the finest example of this figure in existence. Measures an impressive 70"tall and 78"long.

This magnificent Orchestrion in its quarter sawn oak "art case" has its original finish and decal with the usual scrapes and abrasions as well as some minor damage mainly at the bottom (at the toes). There are 2 small wooden trim pieces missing from the cabinet doors, one from the top and one from the bottom, as well as 3 small mitered corners on 2 of the stained glass cabinet doors. It is also missing the upper access panel at the rear of the piano. Cabinet with its beautiful art glass features the classic 3 dimensional torch design as well as 2 panels with bucolic scenes. All four of these panels have some form of minor damage here and there, cracks here and there, and the most significant of which is a small piece of glass missing from one of the center panels. See photos for further detail. Has its original key tops which are lightly stained with a few chips here and there but in otherwise good condition. See photos. This Orchestrion has evidence of an older restoration and is in playing condition. Has its original coin mech and it takes a 5 cent coin. The instrumentation of this Orchestrion features the following - piano, mandolin, flute pipes, violin pipes, bass drum with tympani effect, snare drum, cymbal, and triangle. It also has its original motor, pump and roll frame all of which are in good condition with evidence of an older restoration. Also included are 11 G rolls, nine of which are re-cuts and 2 originals. Cabinet measures 6'-7-1/2" H X 5'-10-1/2" W X 2'-4-1/2" D. This Orchestrion would be a prime addition to any collection. Weighs approximately 1200 pounds. See video at https://youtu.be/AJyAxZZoEd8

Rare Carleton Canoe 42 Inch Display Sample

The Carleton Canoe Co. of Old Town Maine was one of the oldest canoe manufacturers in North America starting in the 1870's. They pioneered canvas covered canoes in the 1880's. They were acquired by Old Town Canoe Co. in 1910. This handcrafted display sample is among the rarest of canoe display samples. Roger Young of Antique Model Canoes wrote that Carleton probably produced only 20 samples for their dealers. This one has been in a collection for over 50 years. It is in overall VG condition retaining all original paint on the canvas, company name decals on both sides, original interior varnish, and cane seats. It measures 42" long and 8.75" wide at the centerline. Don't miss this chance at an incredible vintage canoe sample.

Mills Violano Coin Op Violin Player

Oak Mills Violano serial number 1797. Good restoration candidate. It has its original violin which is market Mills Novelty Company on the paper label inside the violin. There are no strings present, otherwise the violin appears to be in good condition. The tuning weights and arms are present but appear to be reproductions. Oak cabinet has original front bifold doors and beveled glass and hardware, One of the front columns is missing a capital - see photos. Has original coin mechanism. The coin box and front cover are older reproductions. The sounding board appears to be in good condition with no visible cracks. The cast iron harp is free of any cracks, the piano action appears to have been reconditioned as well as the piano having been re-strung some time ago. The oak cabinet appears to have been professionally refinished. There are several minor nicks and scrapes and some veneer damage on the edges of the top cover. The roll-frame motor/generator and governor are all present. The contact roller is also present, but detached. It appears to be missing one of the pin ends. This machine is not in playing condition and in need of restoration. 64"H x 42"W x 30" D

This handsome piano in its quarter sawn oak cabinet has been completely refinished and restored some time ago and is in playing condition. The cabinet is in overall good condition with the exception of some minor damage on the right hand side of the bottom. See photos. Has its original locks and keys. The cabinet is nicely appointed with three stained glass panels with a few minor hairline cracks and matching companion stained glass lamps. One of the lamps will need a new socket. As mentioned before this piano has been completely restored and re strung, piano action completely rebuilt as well as the entire mechanism. Has its original complete coin mechanism. Has new key tops. Piano has a set of flute pipes which are mounted on the back side of the piano and are concealed with a fitted wooden cover. This cover is loose and will need to be reattached. Comes with one Peerless Elite roll which is on the piano. Piano measures 58" T X 64" W X 35" D. A handsome addition to any collection.
