This is the most popular of the NCR registers because of its size . Often called the "Penny Register" because of the dollar amount maximums. Great Piece. Heavy Brass cash register with beautiful floral and scrollwork on oak base and drawer. NCR began in 1884 with Ohio native, John Patterson, making the first mechanized cash register. Possibly a Class 300 that came in five sizes, ca. 1900-1910. Number plate is missing, so this is a guess-timate. Key is not present.
