Welcome to our Online Only Firearm Auction, where we aim to provide a secure and seamless experience for all participants. Please review the following important rules and information to ensure a smooth process.
1. Secure Payment and Billing
We utilize the Proxibid APN system for secure billing. A 4% surcharge will be applied to all credit card payments, and credit cards on file will be automatically charged at the conclusion of the auction.
2. Nonpayment Consequences
Buyers must complete payment within 72 hours of auction close. Failure to do so will result in the buyer being reported to Proxibid and becoming ineligible for future auctions.
3. Shipping Options and FFL Transfers
No Local Pickup: We do not offer local pickup. All items will be shipped to your chosen FFL dealer for firearms, or to your home address for non-FFL-regulated items.
FFL Transfer: Buyers are responsible for providing the FFL dealer’s information within 7 days of auction close. Failure to do so within 10 days will result in items being considered abandoned, and no reimbursement will be given.
4. Fixed Shipping Costs
We strive to provide transparent and straightforward shipping costs:
- Rifles: $20 each
- Ammunition Lots: $15 for the first lot, $5 for each additional lot
- Pistols: $15 each
5. Compliance and Background Checks
We strictly adhere to all ATF requirements for firearm sales. As a licensed FFL dealer, we will conduct all necessary background checks and ensure legal compliance.
- Firearms can only be shipped to other FFL dealers.
- Bidders uncertain about passing background checks should not bid, as no reimbursement will be provided in cases of failed checks.
6. Ammo Shipment Restrictions
If you are from New York, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, or New Jersey, an FFL or FOID is required to ship ammunition. No exceptions. If you cannot provide the necessary documentation, your ammunition will be considered undeliverable.
7. Errors and Availability
At South Texas Auction Company LLC, we strive to accurately list and describe all items. However, errors may occur, or items may become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this happen, we will issue a full refund to the buyer for any unavailable items. We value transparency and your satisfaction in every transaction.
