The action of this FNX-45 Tactical appears to function properly with a functioning safety. There are very few cosmetic defects with this pistol, but the optic plate mounting screws are incorrectly sized and stick out, allowing the plate to move freely. Replacement screws would not be a huge cost, and the author believes the proper size for the screws is #5-40 Hex screws. However, if you intend to install your own optic to this pistol you would likely not need those specific screws. This pistol comes with the factory case and manuals, an extra magazine, two optic adapter plates, and three other pistol grip backstrap options.
