General Info Lot #0 (Sale Order 1 of 36) This lot is not for sale. Some pretty nice pieces in this auction, especially at the end of the auction. All gems sold in this auction are natural, mined from the earth gemstones, unless specifically labeled "Synthetic" in the title or description of the lot. We do our best to fully describe these gems, as well as any treatments they may have. We don't try to pass off synthetics as the real thing. There are a lot of companies out there selling synthetics as genuine gemstones, so be careful where you buy. All of our gems are tested in a gem lab, and most have slight natural inclusions of some kind, verifying that they're real. We sell thousands of carats of gemstones per month, so any gems that make it into one of our high end auctions are hand picked from larger parcels. These are the top 25% of the gems that come in. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Ben, our gemologist prior to bidding.

Massive Collection of Gemstones -- Over 1000 Carats Lot #35 (Sale Order 36 of 36) Wow, what a collection of gemstones. Well over 1000 carats. The glass top box of Amethyst and Topaz is especially fine. Those stones alone retail for far more than the opening bid of this entire lot. You're not going to find another lot of fine gemstones at this price anywhere else. Everything is clearly labeled. The box of 50 stones with plastic tops are all labeled on the reverse. There are some very fine stones in that box as well, with precious stones like Spinel and Tanzanite. A few gems in appraisal packets. These aren't all that exceptional. But they come with paperwork, which is nice. Opening bid for this lot is priced at $1.50 per carat, which is probably in the 10% of retail range. Insane amount of value here for the amateur or professional jeweler, or just the collector.
