European silver compote with green cut-to-clear bowl. Rococo base with ribbed stem and shell accents. The bowl is beautifully cut with fine detailed flowers surrounding a zipper cut starburst. The bowl is attached to the base with a silver disc with an Art Nouveau lady with long sprawling hair. Marked 800 with hall marks on the bottom of one foot. 10 1/2" diameter x 13 1/2" high.

Impressive pair of Old Paris vases decorated with heads at the base of the handles. The painted green body is broken with a 7' mat black band that encompasses the body. Incredible Inkwell

This desk tray makes a loud statement of presence with its size and glitz. The gilded iron tray has a center lift off compartment with two sheep being watched over by the shepard and his dog. The ink wells are on both sides with lift off lids and the compartments are large enough to slip the ink bottle into. The pen rest is on the backside constructed of raised leafed branches. 18 1/2" x 15 1/2" x 7 1/2" high.

Cameo Glass Biscuit Jar

Lot #35 (Sale Order 35 of 289)

Cameo glass bisquit barrel cut with grape clusters and leaves, signed towards the bottom "Lorraine" across the Cross of Lorraine in cameo. This mark attributes the glass to Daum. The mark on the bottom is the Victor Saglier cartouche, the leading Silversmith in Paris in the 1890s. The design in the cameo cutting is repeated in the silverplate lid. 6" in diameter x 10 1/4" to top of the Art Nouveau handle.

Red, forest green, greasy yellow and aqua are the colors of the design against a white background. The bag is 1890 - 1910 with the newer beadwork from the 1940s. Sioux Indian tribe. We were told by the owner that this bag came from an individual who called herself "Doc Lobo". Measures 10 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" high. Stitched leather handle.
