1970s Jennings Illinois J-400 One-Armed Bandit Slot Machine- NO RESERVE/ABSOLUTE! Lot #620 (Sale Order 20 of 84) From The Bally's Grand Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, this late-1970s Jennings Illinois Model J400 slot machine is offered at no reserve. Recently resuscitated following a period of storage, this vintage J400 is one of the last machines made by the company before, ironically, Bally's own machines put the venerable manufacturer of gambling machines out of business. Plays one to five coins and seems to pay out nicely on occasion, a great gag to make your friends all winners! Brass shows wear but has polished up nicely, great glass and graphics, a superb addition to any collection or man cave. Comes with two sets of two keys - one for the attendant, one for opening the front door and turning on the switch and front lamp. Please note - this is a very heavy item. "Stop Tank Car Connected" Sign- NO RESERVE/ABSOLUTE! Lot #625 (Sale Order 25 of 84) Vintage 'stop tank car connected' porcelain sign mint! Offered here is a beautiful original vintage porcelain sign from a mid-western train depot. Condition-wise, it is almost too nice and fresh to be real at first glance, but going by the rivets and other indicators of age and material quality, there can be no question of its authenticity. I don't buy reproductions, nor do i sell them. Measuring 20" x 14", it is visually about as fresh as the day it was fired with only very minor scratches and pin-prick loss around the rivets at each corner evidencing that it was ever in service. I would guess that this sign was mounted in a covered depot rather than out in any weather; it has been in a large railroadiana collection for the last few decades as part of a larger display.
