Poster measures approx. 26" x 46". This is the largest poster of the three thatnodica posed for. Vintage Dey Time Register Clock, Endicott, Ny Lot #2094 (Sale Order 94 of 296) Lot consists of a vintage, dey time register clock recorder, made by the dey time register co. Of syracuse , new york. Serial number 15633. Face of clock is marked "endicott, ny". This is a workman's time recorder. Consists of a weightdriven clock inside a wooden case with a large iron ring attached to the front. Around the ring's edge are numbers assigned to each employee. To punch in and out, an employee moved the pivoting pointer arm to their number and then pressed itspeg into the guide hole, causing the time to be printed next to his/her name on a rolled form inside the machine. Includes pendulum inside, however broken. There are scuffs and scratches, numbers missing from the dial, etc. Overallapprox. 35" tall x 26. 5" wide x 18" deep. Large oak case with side paneled doors. Interesting machine.

1864 New York Metro Fair Assoc Flag Pillow Top Lot #2114 (Sale Order 114 of 296) Lot consists of an original flag pillow top, from the 1864 new york metropolitan fair association. Approx. 18" x 18". Mounted with original receipt dated april 1, 1864, valued at $80 which was contributed for the benefit of the u.S. Sanitarycommission. President lincoln established the us sanitary commission in 1861, which was regarded as the predecessor of the american red cross. To help struggling familes during the civil war, women decided to have fund raising events whichwere organized in ciities across the country. The first fair was in chicago in 1863, however the largest fair was the new york metropolitan fair in april 1864. Quilts ranked among the more expensive items made and donated to the fairs. Some quilts were valued from $1-$5, with the more fancy quilts valued at $50. The receipt with this piece is valued at $80. Great image in the center which depicts crossing flags with a cannon. Included are photos showing the back of thispiece, and on the back of the receipt is written "purchased by mrs. Cephas brainerd at the fair". Overall frame piece approx. 23. 5" x 30". 1878 World's Fair Statue Of Liberty Stevensgraph Lot #2115 (Sale Order 115 of 296) Original 1878, "la france a l'amerique" silk ribbon, souvenir of the "exposition universelle,". Beautiful silk ribbon with red, gold, blue, white and brown thread on a cream-white background, featuring an image of the statue of liberty,french and american flags. Approx. 10" x 2. 25". Appears to be missing the bottom blue tassel. The third paris world's fair, called an "exposition universelle," was held from may 1 though to november 10, 1878. It celebrated the recovery offrance after its crushing defeat in the 1870 franco-prussian war. On june 30, 1878, the completed head of the statue of liberty was showcased, eight years before the entire statue was completed. Excellent condition.

Center piece has roulette like wheel hand painted hearts, clovers, diamonds, and spades, as well as hand painted race horses and jockey's at the corners which are named "maxim,hindoo, electrian, and parole". Hindoo won the kentucky derby in 1881, and parole is in the racing hall of fame. The other 2 boards also feature hand painted images at the corners as well at card spaces. Stuyvesant Van Veen, Orig 1939 Nywf Illustration Lot #2267 (Sale Order 267 of 296) Lot consists of an original concept illustration by stuyvesant van veen of the mural which was drawn on the 1939 new york world's fair "hall of pharmacy" building. Done on artist board, image size seen approx. 33" x 27". There is a top rightcorner crease, and chipped piece missing from the lower right. Lower right corner is also stamped "stuyvesant van, artist design", and signed by van veen on the back. Also includes a black/white print which shows the hall of pharmacy with themural above.
