British/Nepalese M-1853 Enfield Percussion Musket - Antique

This Nepalese Military M-1853 1860 dated Enfield Percussion Musket was probably produced by Great Britain for their client state of Nepal. Like the British version, it is a three band, muzzle-loading black powder .577 caliber rifled musket. It is in fair/good condition with no real finish, a functional lock plate missing one screw and a worn stock. It does have a nipple protector, ramrod and many Nepalese markings. Barrel is 39" and overall length is 55". Bore is shootable.

This British Military Martini-Enfield MK II Single Shot Rifle is dated 1876 and started out as a Martini-Henry before being converted to a .303 caliber rifle. This particular piece came out of Afghanistan and is in good condition with significant finish wear but decent wood. The bore is poor and dark, but might clean up with some work. Markings are clear, it has the early brass buttplate and early short lever.

A rarely seen rifle from the War on Terror.

This superb US Military Rock Island Arsenal M-1903 30/06 Bolt Action Rifle was produced in 1910/11 and has a 1910 dated RIA barrel. From examining the rifle, it looks correct for a late 1910 - early 1911 dated Rock Island, no obvious updates are replaced parts are visible. Overall condition is very good with metal finish at 85% and a nice single recoil bolt stock with one slightly bruised area. The bore is very good, and is complete with a 1915 RIA '07 sling, nickeled oiler and a "R" Ord stamped sight hood. A very good condition rifle seldom seen without modifications. Blue Book lists this as a $3000-4000 rifle!

The receiver was drilled and tapped, and have blind screws in place.

US Civil War Whitney Navy Single Action Revolver - Antique

This .36 caliber US Civil War era Whitney Navy Single Action Revolver is in fair to good condition, with little finish left. The action works and it is relatively tight, but the wing nut is missing off the frame. The grips are nice, with a faint cartouche and has five hash marks (kills, months in service?). There are numerous inspection stamps on the revolver, and "E WHITNEY N. HAVEN" is clear on the barrel. Bore seems strong and loading lever works. A good condition Civil War revolver favored by both sides. Serial number is 13612, it is matched and only faint trces can be seen of the cylinder scene.

Remington Copy M-1875 Single Action Revolver - Antique

This close copy of a Remington M-1875 Single Action Revolver is totally unmarked except for a serial number of F8947 on the side of the receiver, and a JM on the other side. There is no finish left and there is scattered pitting, but the revolver is tight and functional. .45 caliber bore is fair/good and the walnut grips are solid except for one very small chip. It has the lanyard ring, ejector housing and the ejector rod works. Not known who produced this, but it is a vintage piece with lots of character.

This nice Colt M-1877.38 caliber Lightening Double Action Revolver is in very good condition with 85-90% blue, 40% original case-hardening and a good bore in its 6" barrel. It is serial numbered 107390 from 1897, has very good hard rubber grips and a functional ejector. Like many of these, the action is finicky - it works double action with some looseness, but does not work in the single action mode. A better than average example of this innovative revolver.

The case includes such accessories as shot pouches, minie balls, caps and cap tins, brass powder flasks, capper, pocket knife, dice, repro currency, nipple wrench, badge and playing cards shot with this revolver. As is typical of WWII Model 11s, it has no checking on the forearm/stock or engraving on the receiver. It has the US and Ordnance proofs on the receiver. The Bakelite buttplate is intact, the bore of the 26" barrel is near mint. These shotguns were used for gunnery training, for guard use and in combat and are seldom seen in this condition.

The pistol is matching (except for the magazine), has no import marks and it is regimentally marked to the 18th Company of the 1st Prussian Jaeger Regiment. Of the 17,000 produced, only 1500 went to the Army. A nice Inter-War Luger in better than average condition.

This US Army Air Force WWII era Aircrew Escape Kit was supplied by the Intel Officer of the USAAF 356th Bombardment Squadron. It was issued to crews of this B-24 and B-17 Bomber Operational Training Unit stationed in England. The survival kit consists of a waterproof map case containing a silk escape map of portions of Europe, a small concealable compass, ans a compact saw blade. Meant to be hidden in the lining of a jacket, it is in very good/minty condition. Never saw a complete one of these!

The group is in good condition and provides a rich treasure trove of research information from the WWII Air War.
