The Great Allentown Comic Con Auction to benefit Epilepsy Awareness Comic Book Lot #0~TEMP (Sale Order 1 of 30) Earlier this year John McLaren and RickMan completed a comic book for the Epilepsy Foundation. It's a story of a boy who, while having a seizure, is aided by a superhero who has personal experience with the affliction.
Now, with the help of the Great Allentown Comic Con and TheBigToyAuction.com they are raising funds to publish a full size, full color version of this comic to distribute, free, to hospitals, libraries and schools across the country and the world. Join us for one of two great auctions to raise money for this project. We are having an Art Auction at the Great Allentown Comic Con this Nov. 19-20, 2011. Artists from all over have joined the cause by donating various pieces of art to be auctioned off on Sunday, November 20th at 4:00 PM. This will be your chance to own some fantastic pieces while helping out a good cause! But First, join us online Saturday, November 12th beginning at 8:10 as we auction off three very special dinner events. Win one of three dinners with Star Trek's Robert Picardo, The Clone War's Tom Kane, or Star Wars' Peter Mayhew to be held on the evening of November 19th after the show. They will be in town for the convention, and one fan will win the opportunity to "Dine Among Stars," and ask all the burning questions you've been dying to know. Can't make it to the auction? No problem! While we would love to see you there, for those of you who can't attend in person, we are making most lots available for online bidding. You can leave a pre-bid now, or join us Live Sunday, November 20th at 3:30 PM EDT. We will be Live Streaming the auction to allow you to bid in real time against the floor in this spectacular event! There's still plenty of time left, so if you would like to donate any pieces, large or small, b&w or color, 3D or 2D, or you know of anyone else that would like to help out, please let us know and we will be happy to help.
