Framed US Army 1st Engineer Brigade Flag Lot #1 (Sale Order 2 of 78) Framed US Army 1st Engineer Brigade swallow-tail Flag, challenge coins, Captain bars and unit DI in very good condition. This shadowbox is named to the Commander and measures 31"X 40".

Framed "Zero!" Print by Jack Fellows Lot #2 (Sale Order 3 of 78) Although credited with over 60 aerial victories, Japan's most famous fighter ace Ensign Saburo Sakai, IJN took greatest pride in never losing a wingman. Completing flight training in 1937, he saw combat in China, the Philippines, and the Southwest Pacific. On 7 August 1942, he was wounded by SBD fire and barely made it back to base. He recovered to train other Japanese pilots and to fight again at Iwo Jima and over Tokyo. Here Sakai is depicted in one of the many Mitsubishi Type Zero carrier fighters, it's markings representative of those if the Tainan Kokutai during much of 1942. Sakai flew these aircraft to great success throughout the Pacific war.
Print is double matted and framed, it is 33"x 16" and it is in very good/excellent condition.

Framed "Front Row Seats" Print by Ross Buckland Lot #3 (Sale Order 4 of 78) Lt. Robin Olds and his wingman, Lt. Harold F. "Bud" Grenning, roar over beachhead bluffs in a turn back out to sea. Flying air cover in their P-38 Lightning for the Allied Fleet and D-Day invasion force, pilots of the 434th Fighter Squadron, 479th Fighter Group, were to protect the sea and beaches from Luftwaffe attacks. Flying through the intense exchange of Allied and German ground fire, the pilots passed over waves of landing craft and the deadly chaos of the invasion beaches. They had front row seats to an incredible panorama of destruction.
Signed by the artist and numbered, 1000 Limited editions originally sold at $145, double matted and framing cost $160, 27" x 14"

Framed COLONEL JOHN SINGLETON MOSBY, CSA Print by Michael Gnatek Lot #4 (Sale Order 5 of 78) John Singleton Mosby the "Gray Ghost," was a Confederate cavalry battalion commander in the American Civil War. His command, the 43rd Battalion, 1st Virginia Cavalry, known as Mosby's Raiders, was noted for its lightning quick raids, partisan or ranger-like tactics and his ability to successfully elude his Union Army pursuers and disappear with his men, blending in with local farmers and townspeople.
Nicely framed, double matted, signed, numbered, limited edition art print, limited to only 1,000 prints in the edition. This print has been long ago SOLD OUT, having originaly sold for $125. In near mint condition measuring 23" x 29".

Framed "Gathering Storm" Print by Robert Taylor Lot #5 (Sale Order 6 of 78) Focke-Wulf 190 Fighters climb out over Theville to intercept B-17 Fortresses en-route to bomb submarine pens at Lorient. Signatures include: Heinz Lange, Fritz Losigkeit, Gunther Schack and Hugo Broch.
This single matted framed prints was signed by the artist and numbered (1250 Limited Editions), originally sold for $285 (now sold out - prices are now double that), image size is 26 1/4" x 17 1/4" and it is in very good/excellent condition.

Framed "Stonewall" Print by Don Stivers Lot #6 (Sale Order 7 of 78) As enigmatic as he was brilliant in battle, the man his students at V.M.I. called "Tom Fool" Jackson, became the legend we call "Stonewall."
Framed triple matted signed limited edition print numbered of 1000, image size of 18" x 24", produced in 1985. It is in excellent condition with a retail price of $400 and $250 cost of framing.

Framed "Stuka" Print by Robert Taylor (Ju87) Lot #7 (Sale Order 8 of 78) The Stuka when dressed for war was an awesome spectacle. Robert Taylor's outstanding painting show's a formation of JU87s bombed up and fitted with long range tanks heading out on a shipping strike over the Mediterranean in 1941. Following its success in the Polish and French 'Blitzkrieg' campaigns, the Stuka was seen by the German High Command as the supreme new weapon to succeed long range artillery. With its banshee-like wailing siren the Stuka pilots would deliver destruction from the skies and create a devastating psychological effect upon all those below. The bomber signatures include: Helmut FICKEL, Franz KIESLICH, Kurt KUHLMEY and Hans-Karl STEPP.
Print is signed by the artist and numbered (1250 Limited Editions originally at $285 - long sold out and double that now), single matted and framed ($165) with an image size of "x " in very good to excellent condition.

Within three days she was herself sunk by the Home Fleet with the loss of all but 110 of her crew. "General Nathan Bedford Forrest" by Michael Gnatek Lot #10 (Sale Order 11 of 78) General Nathan Bedford Forrest by famed artist Michael Gnatek, Jr. in very good condition nicely matted and framed. Nathan Bedford Forrest was a lieutenant general in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. He enlisted as a private and was be promoted to general officer and division commander by the end of the war. Although Forrest lacked formal military education, he had a gift for strategy and tactics. He created and established new doctrines for mobile forces, earning the nickname The Wizard of the Saddle. This is one of 1,000 Signed Prints, artist signed, 21" x 28" with bright, vivid colors.

A limited 1000 edition print signed by Robert Taylor, as well as by famed Spitfire pilots Dennis David, Alan Deere and Desmond Sheen.

"A Test Of Courage" by Keith Ferris Framed Art Print Lot #14 (Sale Order 15 of 78) German Luftwaffe I./JG 300 Fw190A "Sturmbock" duels point blank with gunners of the 303rd Bomb Group B-17s on 15 August 1944. In demonstrating the tragedy of the air war over Europe in World War II, this painting shows a Focke Wulf 190 armed with 30mm cannon, face to face with the 50 cal. machine guns of the tail gunner of mortally wounded B-17G 44-6291 of the low squadron of the 8th Air Force 303rd Bomb Group on 15 August 1944. The 303rd Bomb Group lost nine B-17 bombers with nine men in each aircraft in a little under two minutes in this duel at 25,000 feet over Germany. The print is signed by the artist and numbered one of 850 editions The print is 18" x 35" and triple matted and framed. Cutouts in the matte show patches of the 8th Air Force and JG300 and is named to Oberleutnant Klaus Bretschneider (Knights Cross & Gold German Cross recipient).

"Tomorrow...We Must Attack Him" by Dale Gallon Framed Print Lot #15 (Sale Order 16 of 78) On the grounds of the Lutheran Seminary west of Gettysburg, late on July 1, 1863, Gen. Robert E. Lee listens to Liet. Gen. James Longstreet’s arguments for a move away form Gettysburg. Lee’s mind, however, was made up. Gesturing emphatically, he stated, "If the enemy is there tomorrow, we must attack him." Limited edition of 950, image size: 16" x 25", introduced in 1993 and now sold out. Originally priced at $300, it is now valued at $660+. Nicely framed with triple matting and a cut-out for a bullion CSA General's collar rank insignia.

Wigfall, wife of the 1st Texas Regiment’s Colonel, who in a sacrifice purely Victorian, gave her wedding dress to be made into a Lone Star Flag for the Regiment. It is a limited edition print of 950 with an image size of 15 1/2" x 23 3/4". Published in 1989, it sells on the secondary market for over $450. Is nicely displayed in a high quality frame with double matting (itself a $200 value).

Signed by Lt. General Adolf Galland, Lt General Count Krupinski, and General Macky Steinhoff and well as the artist, it is a limited edition print measuring 25" X 16". Triple matted and framed, it has cut-outs for a set of bullion Luftwaffe General collar tabs and an engraved plate with the total kills of these top aces.

"Bar Necessities" by Charles Wissig Framed Print Lot #22 (Sale Order 23 of 78) Fw190 A-7 flown by Major Heinz Bar (pronounced bear) of the 5th Staffel, JG 1 in April 1944. At the end of the war, Bar had 220 victories to his credit. After surviving six years of combat and being shot down more than a dozen times, the likable Bar was killed in an automobile accident after the war. This print is one of 1250 limited edition lithographes measuring 22" x 18". It is framed and matted with an engraved plate listing Bars victories and a Luft Eagle.

Civil War era Navy Veteran Service Document Lot #26 (Sale Order 27 of 78) An unusually large (30"x 38")personalized Civil War era Navy Veteran Service Document in good shape with a few water stains. It documents the service Harry Keakans, a sailor in 1861 and on the USS Colorado first at the Portsmouth Naval Yard and then the Gulf Squadron. He was discharged after two years and re-enlisted for two more. Still serving on the Colorado, he participated in the bombardments at Ft Fisher in Wilmington, NC. Damaged, the Colorado was at Brooklyn Navy Yard when Lincoln was shot. Keakans was ordered with the Colorado on a "round the world cruise" to search for the assassins. Honorably discharged in 1867, this print was given to him by his wife in 1893. The image was designed by J.W. Carnahan, 1891, for Monumental Bronze Company, Bridgeport, Connecticut, This large print was sold to finance the Easel Monument Project, which was an 1890s effort to create a memorial to the "Brave Boys in Blue" to be placed in the center of the Union Soldiers and Sailors National Park in 1898. This image is an artifact from an unsuccessful effort to create "a National Monument, dedicated to the Grand Army of the Republic and Kindred Societies." Comes with a patriotic frame, but no glass.

"WILL YOU GIVE US OUR WHISKY NOW?" by Don Stivers Framed Print Lot #30 (Sale Order 31 of 78) It was a warrior's dangerous bargain: denied their whisky ration for misconduct on the march and ordered to take the lower bridge across Antietam Creek after other units had been stalled by heavy enemy fire, one of the 5 Pennsylvania piped up, "Will you give us our whisky, Colonel, if we take it?" Assured by their colonel that they would, the regiment stormed the bridge and established a Union foothold on that end of the battlefield of Antietam, September 17,1862. This limited edition signed print is one of 1000, has a 18"x 24" image size and is matted in very good condition. It came out in 1995 and sold for $260.

"...Cross over the River" Stonewall Jackson by Mort Kunstler Framed Print Lot #33 (Sale Order 34 of 78) Let us cross over the river and rest under the shade of the trees. Those were the last words spoken by General Stonewall Jackson - and became the inspiration for this painting. In ...Cross Over the River, Jackson is standing at the riverside with his arms folded as he communed with God in a silent, respectful ritual. Nearby we see Little Sorrel grazing, as he patiently waits for his master. This is a framed and matted printing of a painting originally titled "Cross Over the River" by Mort Kunstler. This limited edition is 24"x 18" and was one of 1750. There is one on sale by Prints.com for $1199 down from $2700!

US Marine Corps Iraqi War Souvenir AK Bayonet Shadowbox Lot #62 (Sale Order 63 of 78) A beautifully framed shadowbox with a US Marine Corps captured Iraqi War Souvenir AK Bayonet. This Comblock AKS bayonet was part of a large weapons cache tracked down by Marine Intel and comes with three pages of documents telling the story. Also included are 10 color photos and two challenge coins from the unit. Not many souvenirs came back from Iraqi, this is one of the coolest we'll seen...and with our pull-out, no more will be seen!
