1924 Hudson Super Six Sedan Lot #306 (Sale Order 7 of 119) Offered here is an exceptionally nice and very original 1924 Hudson Super Six Sedan with coachwork by Biddle and Smart. Purchased new by M.B. Cannon of London, Ohio from W.J. Meek (Dealer) also of London, Ohio on December 8th of 1923, the car was last registered in 1935 and in 1961 the car received its first and only repaint. The top is in excellent original shape with only one corner repair in the car's lifetime. The wheels are of a later style with a like new-set of 600-21 inch black-wall tires mounted on them. Original dual double side mounts with the original, earlier size tires flank each side. The original glass is beautiful and the windows operate as they should.
The interior is also original with exception to the front seat bottom, recovered in 1961 and retains its original silk blinds, rear foot rest and blanket rail. The dash is in wonderful original condition with all its gauges appearing clear and crisp. All interior and exterior door handles and hardware are also in excellent original condition.
The original body of the car is uncommon in an American production car in that it is all aluminum and was built by renowned Massachusetts coachbuilder Biddle & Smart, who built many Springfield Rolls-Royces in addition to other fine cars. The front windshield treatment employed by them is quite unique with its triangular corner windows. All four 'suicide' doors open and close nicely with proper fit. The underside of the car is also in very nice shape for the age. The metal and underlying wood are exceptional.
Mechanically, the car starts and runs well with much recent work just prior to auction. Don't miss out on this great classic Hudson in Akron!

The flawless body work is matched by the beautiful Dark Blue and black paint accented by a light blue triple painted pin stripe, wide white walls and great chrome. The gray cloth rear interior as well as the brown leather front compartment are all original as is the original wood accents. The originality of the interior is fit testimony to the cars low original mileage. A divider window separates the two passenger compartments. This is a CCCA full classic; you could compete in shows or plan to drive in club tours. The 414 ci. 150 hp., V12 runs quiet and smooth, the transmission shifts nicely and the suspension is nice and tight for a butter smooth ride. The massive car rides on a 145" wheel base, weighs over 5500 pounds. This car was recently restored by the Lincoln K experts at the Canton Classic Car Museum. This is the finest driving K they have ever restored and they have restored plenty. Act today this car will not be with us long. This car is priced well below the restoration costs and also below other similar K Lincolns we have recently sold.

One of the rarest of the rare big Cadillac automobiles from the final year before the downsized rear-wheel-drive platform. The Talisman options contained a very special interior with writing desk, and many appointments not offered in the lessor Cadillacs. This big luxury sedan has all the Cadillac luxury items as well including power steering power brakes, power windows, cold Air Conditioning, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, outside thermometer, illuminated entry, Guidematic, Twilight Sentinel, Security system, auto door locks, and is powered by Cadillac's electronically fuel injected 215 hp./ 500 ci. V8 engine, automatic transmission and more! This massive car weighs over 5,200 pounds and measures 233.7" long, on a 133" wheelbase. There were 24,500 Fleetwood Broughams built - but the Talisman option cost about the same as a new Chevrolet Vega when new in 1976 and is rare today with fewer than a thousand examples built in this, its final year in production.
The interior was upholstered in Medici Velour, an exclusive crushed velour fabric reserved for Cadillac's finest automobiles. The seats featured a shirred trim design inspired by fine European furniture. Padded upper door panel inserts, B-pillar trim, sail panels, and headliner were also covered in Medici Velour. Even the door pull assist straps featured Medici Velour inserts. Running between the seats are center consoles also covered in Medici Velour. The front console included an illuminated writing pad with pen and pencil, a lockable storage compartment for safekeeping of valuables, and an engraved nameplate featuring the owner's initials. The rear console features a handy storage bin, as well as a holder for a vanity mirror and other items that might be necessary while underway. Both consoles also serve as comforting center arm rests.

1970 Lincoln Mark lll NO RESERVE/ABSOLUTE Lot #405 (Sale Order 106 of 119) Offered without reserve, this 1970 Lincoln Continental Mark III Coupe was purchased by its long-term collector owner in 1999, who only drove the car a few thousand miles in that time. The car's stated mileage of 67,537 are believed to be actual from new. According to the prior owner who he bought it from, new springs, brakes and a stainless-steel exhaust were fitted shortly before the car changed ownership. During a recent maintenance interval, the present owner changed many hoses under the hood and removed the valve covers and this engine looks like new inside without any deposits on the valvetrain. It is worth mentioning that this car came out of Florida - it still wears a 1970s-vintage AAA sticker from that state on its rear bumper. It is very solid underneath with traces of the original red Ford primer on the undercarriage beneath the undercoating that may have been factory or dealer applied when new.
Finished in its original shade of Dark Maroon with a matching top and cloth interior, the car is very nicely optioned with dual comfort power front seats and all the usual Lincoln amenities. A Holley carburetor was fitted at some point in the car's past as was the custom steering wheel.
When not in use, the car has always been properly stored along with the remainder of his collection of fine cars. Recently, the car made a couple of 200 mile interstate trips without trouble; this car runs and drives well. Making it safe and reliable, a set of new tires and a new battery were fitted.
The Lincoln Mark III is not just a styling icon but a high-output performer. Lincoln's 460cid engine was high-compression in these days and this car will light the tires, but also give a very smooth and sure ride as it is a fine luxury car as well as a performer.
Don't miss this fantastic Mark III - selling at No Reserve, it will have a new owner at the end of the auction!
