2012 Extortion 17 Memorial Benefit Auction Lot #00 (Sale Order 2 of 104) The 2012 "Extortion 17" Memorial Benefit Auction is dedicated to the memory of 30 active duty military, and 1 military working dog killed in action on August 6, 2011. "Extortion 17" was the CH-47 helicopter shot down by enemy fire in Afghanistan. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to “The 31 Heroes Project”, (www.31heroes.com) in partnership with the Navy SEAL Foundation. All 31 Heroes Project proceeds go to the families of the service members and are tax deductible. Here is an excellent opportunity to acquire excellent firearms and accessories and support a good cause. LMT .308 Modular Weapon System Semi-Automatic Lot #10 (Sale Order 13 of 104) This new in the box LMT (Lewis Machine & Tool) LM308MWSE semi-automatic is a one of a kind rifle with the "31 Heroes Project/Extortion 17" logo engraved on the receiver. The LMT LM308MWSE 7.62x51mm rifle/carbine operates via direct gas impingement and has been adopted by the British Army. The purpose of the LMT is to provide British military forces with a 7.62mm semi-auto “sharpshooter” weapon enabling designated marksmen to accurately and reliably engage targets out to 800 yards. Magazine capacity is 20 rounds, which allows for a lot of fast follow-up shots against fast-moving enemy targets, including vehicles. Winkler Knives SEAL/Sayoc RnD Hawk Boarding Axe Lot #24 (Sale Order 27 of 104) A collaboration between edged weapons expert Rafael Kayanan and Daniel Winkler (who made all the edged weapons for the movie "Last of the Mohicans"). The goal was to exceed the standards of what a tomahawk could be- a practical application tool of exceptional craftsmanship. Despite its sleek appearance, the Sayoc-Winkler R&D Hawk is made with edge awareness, economy of motion and mobility in mind. Designed so that the heaviest area rests at the head, the hawk's full tang is milled to a taper reducing overall weight to an approximate 1 1/2 lbs. Featuring an upward curved end to reinforce grip, the handle is 13 inches long. These are favorites of the US Navy SEALS, who use them as Boarding Axes. Thomas Ratzlaff, one of the SEALS on "Extortion 17" also was in on the development of this tomahawk axe. I'm informed by our Naval Warfare guys this is a must have! MKT SEAL TFF3 Commemorative Tactical Folder Lot #29 (Sale Order 32 of 104) The TFF-3 was designed for a west coast Naval Special Warfare operator. He wanted an ergonomic, low part count, light weight, full-sized blade with slashing and utility cutting as design cornerstones. Finally, he had to have a bottle opener so we put one out of the way on the back of the blade. The TFF-3 feels shockingly good in the hand and although not really a stabbing design we think you will fall in love with its cutting utility. Medford Knife & Tool has made a very limited edition of TFF-3 in collaboration with DevGru to honor the men who fell on 8/6/2011. $150 from each knife they sale is being donated to the families of the fallen men through The Navy League. GSS in Virginia Beach, VA has ordered a large quantity of these blades and there are a few left directly from the factory. The Latin translates, "Not Forgotten."

Knight Armament US Navy SEAL Mk 11 Mod 0 Match Sniper Semi-Auto Rifle Lot #55 (Sale Order 58 of 104) During the early 1990s, the US Navy SEALs sought a highly accurate and reliable semiautomatic rifle system. The Mk11
Mod 0 was the reply issued by Knight’s Armament Company. This weapon is based upon the legendary AR10 platform
developed by Mr. Eugene Stoner, which was later developed into the SR25 with collaborations from Knight’s Armament.
It found such success in the hands of its operators that it was later adopted by the Marine Corps, while its variants were
subsequently adopted by the Army under the M110 nomenclature. Due to its highly accurate tendencies and reliability,
the Mk11 Mod 0 has been accepted by US Special Operation Troops as one of the finest semiautomatic systems
available, while the M110 found acclaim by being awarded one of the ‘Best 10 Inventions’ of 2007 by the US Army. This
particular model is an actual part of the original production schedule that is no longer manufactured or sold, and is
custom engraved with two emblems commemorating the Extortion 17 tragedy and Memorial Ride.
The Mk11 Mod 0 is a gas-operated, semiautomatic sniper rifle system which can fire 1 MOA and deliver a 7.62 round out
to 1000 yards and beyond. It features a 20”, Free-Floating, Chrome Moly Ordinance Steel, 5R cut barrel with a 1:11 twist.
Knight’s URX, free-floating rail system extends down a portion of the barrel and ensures that the weapon’s accuracy
remains intact, regardless of what the operator mounts onto the MILSTD 1913 rail. The step crowned barrel is
fundamentally designed to enhance accuracy by providing an obstacle free pathway for the projectile and all associated
gasses that travel before and after the round. The weapon also features Knight’s 2-stage, 4.5lb match trigger. This
trigger is employed to help increase accuracy by allowing the shooter to know exactly when the weapon will cycle
relative to their trigger squeeze. The entire platform is designed to provide accurate, reliable performance when our
troops need it the most.
