1964 Chevrolet Nova 1964 Chevrolet Nova

1964 Chevrolet Nova

Lot #120 (Sale Order 17 of 110)

Sedan Cruiser. Low Reserve. Great deal! Chevy II 4-Door VIN: 40469W110841 Mileage: 99,030 Only 18 months after giving designers the green light, GM produced and presented the first Chevy II (soon to be known as the Chevrolet Nova). The first production of the Chevy II rolled off the Willow Run, Michigan assembly line in August 1961, and the new GM Chevy was introduced not long after in the following month. As one can see by the simple lines and lack of cosmetic flair, the Chevrolet Nova was never envisioned to be a revolutionary automotive concept. Instead, GM produced the car with the intention of creating a car that offered “maximum functionalism and thrift”. The first generation of the Chevrolet II (Nova) was produced from 1962-1965 and was offered in 5 body styles: 2-Door Sedan, 2-Door Hardtop, 2-Door Convertible (only available from ‘62-’63), 4-Door Sedan and 4-Door Station Wagon. At the beginning of the first generation, the Nova included a Chevrolet 153 4-cylinder engine and a new third generation 194cu in Chevrolet straigt-6 engine. Our 1964 Chevrolet Nova is finished in a deep burgundy and features its original straight-6 230 cu in engine and 2-Speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Though extremely solid underneath, there is a rusty reaction under the right rear trunk area causing the paint to lift. This is likely due to poor prep on the paint. There is also some rust on the door bottoms. Purchase of the vehicle will include replacement doors, as well as other parts to go with the car. It features kickin’ tunes. The car runs excellently and has been driven hundreds of miles in the last few weeks. We also have correct front seats that will need upholstery, as well as the original style rear springs to replace the modified ones that are currently on the car. This is a great runner and driver that would be an easy project. A desirable year, this Nova Chevy II can be fun for the whole family. You can modify it as a resto-mod or make it stock again. It gets great gas mileage and turns heads wherever it goes.

1974 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce

1974 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce

Lot #123 (Sale Order 20 of 110)

New Top. Superb Mechanicals. Professional Alfa Mechanic Owned. Stainless Bumpers. Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo began production of the iconic roadster “Spider” series in 1966. This two-door design classic was remained in production for nearly three decades, with little aesthetic and mechanical changes. The first three Spider series were assembled by Pininfarina in Grugliasco, and the fourth series in San Giorgio Canavese. During the many decades of production, Alfa Romeo also created a 2.3 liter single-seater racing version of the Spider (the Alfa Romeo 8C) which was driven to victory at the Targa Florio race in Sicily in 1931 and 1932. The last Spider was produced in April 1993. In 1970 Alfa Romeo released the Series 2 Spider, which was produced until 1983. The Series 2 featured the first significant changes aesthetically as well as mechanically. During the first year of production for the Series 2 Spider, Alfa Romeo introduced a new and more conventional cut-off tail called the “Kamm Tail”. Numerous other small changes included a slightly different grille, new door handles, top-hinged pedals and an improved interior trim. Under the hood, the Series 2 Spider Veloce got a new and improved 1962 cc 132 HP engine, and consequently the name was changed from 1750 Spider Veloce to 2000 Spider Veloce. Our 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce is a restored and lovingly maintained survivor. The car runs well with its original engine, and shows a beautiful, and original, ivory exterior. Mechanically, this Spider Veloce has a strong running, non-smoking engine that shifts with ease. The factory original tonneau cover, jack and tool roll are included with the car. Recent maintenance of the vehicle includes a new top, seat covers, exterior side mirrors, console shift boot and after-market Alfa Romeo floor carpets. Other updates are new inner & outer shift boots, U-joints, water pump, wiper blades and trailing arm bushing. The water pump and starter were also recently replaced, and the Spider boasts a fresh alignment and front and rear brake pads. The previous owner was a factory trained Alfa mechanic. There is some floor rust as shown in the photographs. Trunk/spare area has minor pinholes. Overall, very clean stainless bumpers. Mileage assumed to be actual.

1981 DeLorean DMC-12 1981 DeLorean DMC-12

1981 DeLorean DMC-12

Lot #125 (Sale Order 22 of 110)

The DeLorean DMC-12 was the only model every produced by the DeLorean Motor Company. This sports car was manufactured by John DeLorean from 1981 to 1982, and by the end of their production in December 1982, about 9,200 DMC-12s were produced. The first prototype appeared in October of 1976, and production official began in 1981 in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland. DMC-12s were a new and exciting design in the automotive world. They featured several unusual and distinctive features such as gull-wing doors, un-painted stainless steel body panels, and a rear-mounted motor. With the exception of the three DeLoreans that were plated in 24-karat gold, all DMC-12s left the factory paneled in brushed SS304 stainless steel and left either uncovered by paint or clear-coated. Each of these stainless steel panels were fixed to an unique, fiberglass monocoque underbody. This underbody was affixed to a double-Y frame chassis, derived from the Lotus Esprit platform. Despite all of these distinctive aspects of the DMC, perhaps the most renown feature is the Delorean’s gull-wing doors. All DMC-12s were produced with cryogenically preset torsion bars and gas-charged struts in order to support these heavy and large doors. Also featured in the DMC-12 were Peugeot Renault Volvo (PRV) 2.85 liter V6 engines, largely influenced by the Lotus Esprit, as well as four-wheel independent suspension, coil springs, and telescopic shock absorbers. Steering was rack and pinion, allowing a tight turning radius, and was paired with power-assisted disc brakes on all wheels. This 80’s classic was sold to its first owner in December of 1981 by John Hine Pontiac. It was purchased by its second, and current owner, in 1985. Since its purchase by senior plant engineer Marshall Zaun of DeLorean Motors, the car has been lovingly maintained, with minimal changes. The owners of the car stated that their goal while owning this DeLorean was to keep it in exceptional mechanical shape, while also maintaining the integrity and distinctiveness of the DMC-12. Some of the meticulous care for this car included replacing the A/C fan, putting in new leather on the dash, and replacing the old tires. Besides these few changes and other basic maintenance procedures, the car is original throughout. The rims, upholstery, carpeting, headliner are all original 1981 DeLorean factory features. The car also features the original 6-cyliner, 174 cu. in engine and 5-speed transmission. Overall, this example of the famed DeLorean DMC-12 is remarkable. The panel fit is tight. The stainless paneling is beautiful and the interior is in good shape, showing only slight aging and wear, typical of a car being used and driven over several decades. This DeLorean shows less than consistent use by its two previous owners, as it has very low original miles. It also exhibits the beauty of a vehicle that is driven and maintained as it was designed. As only 6,500 DeLorean Motor cars are believed to still exist, this would be an magnificent car to add to any collection. Mileage assumed to be actual.

1931 Packard Standard Eight 833 5-Passenger Convertible Sedan

Lot #131 (Sale Order 28 of 110)

Chassis Number: 483111 Engine Number: 327324 As evidenced by the number of Packards in his collection, Charles H. Brown was a great proponent of the brand, a trait which he inherited, and this late Eight, in its rarer configuration complements the grouping of Twelve and Eight Cylinder open cars. The Packard was purchased by Mr. Brown at a regional automobile auction in 2004, prior to which it had spent a number of years in Spanish ownership. Before this it is known to have been in New York State in the 1980s and most probably had remained in the U.S. from new until this time. Of particular pertinence is the fact that it retains quality accessories associated with the brand, including an Adonis mascot, C.M. Hall headlamps and a pair of Triple Speed driving lights, as well as the factory option of dual side mounts. The top and interior have recently been carefully redone to original factory specifications by Seattle expert upholsterer John Parkhurst. Parkhurst’s cars have been shown at Pebble Beach often and the quality is fantastic. Looking every bit the ‘Classic Era’ automobile that it is, the Packard, is considered a ‘Full Classic’ by the Classic Car Club of America and would be eligible for their popular CARavan tours.

1955 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 Convertible 1955 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 Convertible

1955 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 Convertible

Lot #132 (Sale Order 29 of 110)

Beautifully Restored – Rocket V8 – Spectacular! Oldsmobile introduced the 88 badge in 1949. It was named to complement the already-existing 76 and 98, and took the place of the Oldsmobile Straight-8 engine 78 in the model lineup. The new car used the same new Futuramic B-body platform as the Oldsmobile Straight-6 engine 76 but paired it with the powerful new Rocket V8 engine. This combination of a relatively small light body and large, powerful engine made it a precursor to the muscle car. The Rocket 88 vaulted Oldsmobile from a somewhat staid, conservative car to a performer that became the one to beat on the NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) circuits. It won six of the nine NASCAR late-model division races in 1949, 10 of 19 in 1950, 20 of 41 in 1952, and was the first real “King of NASCAR.” The 88 enjoyed a great success, inspiring a popular 1950s slogan, “Make a Date with a Rocket 88?, and also a song, “Rocket 88?, often considered the first rock and roll record. Starting with the trunk-lid emblem of the 1950 model, Oldsmobile would adopt the rocket as its logo, and the 88 name would remain in the Olds lineup until the late 1990s, almost until the end of Oldsmobile itself. The 1955 models were heavily face-lifted with new grillework, taillights and body-side chrome. Horsepower for the 324-cubic-inch Rocket V8 increased to 185 for 88s and 202 for Super 88s. Our 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 Convertible is a restored gem. Featuring a beautiful two-toned red and white exterior, with a gem red interior – Ready for the road or show. The 325CID Rocket V8 engine and hydromatic transmission truly give this massive car some punch and make it a blast to drive. The engine compartment is faithfully detailed and it looks like new. The car includes fender skirts and features a traffic light viewer on the dashboard. Recent restoration in 2012 included new paint and a new convertible top. Overall this Oldsmobile is in superb mechanical condition.

Right-hand drive chassis number ’702297' was completed in 1930 with ‘Saloon Landaulette De Luxe’ coachwork by Vanden Plas and sold new via Messrs Lendrum & Hartman of Albemarle Street in London’s West End, the UK’s official importer for General Motors’ makes Buick, Cadillac, LaSalle and Marquette. ’702297' featured at that year’s London Motor Show at Olympia prior to delivery to its first owner, the Hon Arthur Ernest Guinness of the eponymous brewing dynasty. Noteworthy features on this car include a flat windscreen, slender window uprights, ‘suicide’ rear doors and ‘trafficator’-type turn signals. There is an internal division and intercom, and the interior also features extensive inlaid walnut woodwork, rear-compartment speedometer and the rare, split instrument panel found in the so-called ‘Madame X’ Cadillacs bodied by Fleetwood. The Cadillac’s immediately post-Guinness history is not known but in 1959 it was advertised for sale in the Cadillac & LaSalle Club’s magazine ‘The Self Starter’ by Mr Jeffrey Watts of Levittown, Pennsylvania. ’702297' next appeared at a ‘Movieland – Cars of the Stars’ auction in 1974, by which time it was in need of extensive restoration. Later the car passed to ‘Cadillac Jim’ Pearson of Kansas City, who sold it on to collector James C Leake of Tulsa, Oklahoma in the mid/late-1970s. The V16 was restored while in Mr. Leake’s ownership, the odometer reading at that time being circa 56,000 miles. It later made the journey back across the Atlantic, finding a new home in a European private collection, and is presented in generally very good condition, running exceptionally well. This one-off Euro bodied V-16 is extremely significant and will appreciate as collector cars continue to go through the roof in value. An excellent car to own and drive while representing money in the bank. Mileage assumed to be actual.

1959 Ford Fairlane Retractable 1959 Ford Fairlane Retractable

1959 Ford Fairlane Retractable

Lot #136 (Sale Order 33 of 110)

Jerry Costacos is the son of Greek immigrants and was born in Longview, WA in 1926. He graduated from West Seattle High School in 1944 and immediately enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving on the U.S.S. California and seeing combat in the South Pacific including such campaigns as the battles of Okinawa and East China Sea. After the Navy he enrolled at the University of Washington, graduating in 1950. His love of cars led him to start leasing and operating a parking garage on 4th & Columbia in downtown Seattle in 1954, where he began renting the three cars he owned, a 1953 Chevrolet convertible, a 1954 Plymouth, and a 1954 Chevrolet. He eventually purchased the garage and two adjacent ones, and built his rental car business to 600 cars, eventually merging with the Budget Rent-A-Car franchise for Washington and Oregon in 1983. From the time he was a child, Jerry loved cars. He loved riding in them and was fascinated with all the different body styles and engines. Before he was able to legally drive, at age 14 and unbeknownst to his parents, Jerry bought a 1927 Pontiac for $10. After a few months of driving it and parking in front of a friend's house so his parents wouldn't know, they became wise to this and made Jerry sell the car, which he turned a $3 profit on by selling it for $13. While in high school during WWII, gas rationing allowed each car only 4 gallons per week, which wasn't enough for Jerry, so he bought two cars, a '30 Chevrolet and a '37 Oldsmobile, giving him 8 gallons per week. He also learned to double the weekly mileage in the Chevrolet by mixing the gasoline with a concoction of cleaning solvent and mothballs. With this mixture lowering the octane, the car could only be compression started so he always had to park it on a hill. Being in the car rental business, he continued to be fascinated with all the new trends and changes in each new model year, and enjoyed driving all the different brands and models. From time to time, he would come across a classic car that he liked and bought it. He loved the 1959 Ford Retractable while having two of them in his rental fleet when they were new to the market as he was fascinated with the new technology. In the 70's, he saw one that was owned by his friend Allan Faltus who owned a Chrysler-Dodge-Plymouth Dealership in Ellensburg, WA. He continued reminding Allan that if he ran across one for sale, to call him. In 1976 he received a call from Allan that he knew of one for sale, and asked if he wanted it. He had checked the car out and felt it was worth the asking price and Jerry bought the car sight unseen and sent two of his drivers to Ellensburg to pick it up. At age 87, Jerry continues to drive to work at the garage six days a week. He's been married to his wife Eva for 56 years and lives in West Seattle. This past January 1, he began his 61st year at his place of business.

1989 BMW 635csi

Lot #138 (Sale Order 35 of 110)

Last year for the 635Csi. Euro bumpers, ABS, air bag. Excellent condition, less than 94,000 miles and always garaged since I bought it 7 years ago from a collector. Zero rust anywhere, no accidents. Recently replaced the brakes, most of the suspension components, hoses, belts, radiator, distributor, thermostat, water pump, plugs, etc. New Bilsteins in front, rear self-levelling suspension work great. Drives like new. New master brake cylinder, new power steering pump. Replaced the factory TRW metric wheels and almost-new Michelins with BMW 15? wheels and new Michelin Pilots; sale includes the original wheels and tires. A/C works great. Only driven about 10,000 miles in the past seven years, mostly highway miles. Only things recently not working are left rear window and sometimes the heater valve, both easy fixes. Perfect for a collector but could also be a classy & reliable daily driver.

One Owner from New. Fully Documented Low, Low Miles. This 1972 Limited Edition Baja Beetle Champion S.E. was one of only 1,000 produced in 1972 to commemorate the Baja off-road race success in the Mexican 1000 from 1967-1971. Maintenance for the Baja includes a carburetor replacement in 2011, new battery in 2009, a new rear windshield, new spark plugs, a fan belt replacement as well as other small repairs. Although some original parts have been replaced, the owner has kept all of the original components of the vehicle, which have been boxed and stored. Even the ad in the paper which attracted the buyer to the car has been retained. 1948 Chrysler Town & Country Convertible

Lot #141 (Sale Order 38 of 110)

1948 Chrysler Town & Country Convertible This is the same model and color Chrysler “woodie” convertible that Clark Gable and Carol Lombard owned right after WWII. The current owner has had it for over 25 years. The body and paint are original, and the owner believes the interior is as well. The engine is virtually new, as it was rebuilt and balanced with original new-old-stock Chrysler Mopar Parts around 10 years ago. It runs so smoothly that, standing next to the car after it is started, you can’t tell that the engine is running. It is that quite. Since the engine was rebuilt, it has been driven less than 100 miles per year to “exercise” it. Only 59,900 miles. It has been stored in a dry garage. In the last five years the car has been driven only once a year in a parade.

1965 Bristol Double Decker Bus 1965 Bristol Double Decker Bus

1965 Bristol Double Decker Bus

Lot #148 (Sale Order 44 of 110)

This bus was built (in October 1965) for Western National Omnibus Company (Fleet #2097), was exported to the US in 1978 and spent some time in Mobile, Alabama before being brought to Tacoma by Harold LeMay. Lodekka’s were not operated by any London-based transport companies (standard double-deckers were used). The Western National Omnibus Company operated in the southwest of England, specifically between Cheltenham and Penzance. In 1949 the company was nationalized, then in 1983 privatized and absorbed by other companies. The red double-decker buses in London have become an icon of Britain. Bristol-built buses have a reputation the world over for longevity and reliability. This is partly due to the quality and care with which they were built and partly due to a reliance on tried and tested technology. The Lodekka was an innovation for which the railways were largely responsible; the number of low-clearance railway bridges that had been constructed during the period in which the railways were being developed meant that uncomfortable ‘low bridge’ double-deck bodies had been constructed with an upper deck with four seats in a row and a side gangway with limited headroom. These were very unpopular with the travelling public so, the Lodekka addressed this issue by a clever design in the 1920s. The Lodekka’s running gear was kept low down in the chassis, thus allowing the lower deck gangway to be lower. This in turn led to an overall reduction in height comparable with a standard ‘low bridge’ model. The Lodekka, though technically sophisticated for its time, proved to be an excellent vehicle and many still exist. Although never sold on the open market, many still exist either in preservation or in use all around the world.

1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Business Coupe 1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Business Coupe

1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Business Coupe

Lot #151 (Sale Order 46 of 110)

An unqualified hit with buyers and an immediate sales success, the 1941 Chevrolet model line-up featured newly redesigned bodies by Harley Earl’s acclaimed GM Art and Colour Section, with similar design cues as those on the more-expensive Buick line. Riding upon a longer 116-inch wheelbase, the new Chevrolets provided improved passenger room and comfort, with interiors delivering three additional inches of hip room. Deft styling tweaks included hidden running boards and blending of the headlamps into each front fender. Engineering, long a strong suit of GM and Chevrolet, was characteristically strong with modern independent front suspensions and hydraulic braking. The 235 cubic inch OHV inline six-cylinder engine of the 1941 Chevrolet Master DeLuxe and Special DeLuxe lines was heavily updated with a cylinder-head redesign and a slight compression-ratio increase to 6.5:1, bringing rated horsepower to 90. Archrival Ford seems to have taken the opportunity at this point to claim that it had rated its own “Flathead” V-8 too low and raised its own power rating to match the Chevy “Stovebolt.” Additional Chevrolet engine upgrades included new pistons and revised valves, rocker arms, and an improved water-pump design. With the growing European war, conflict looming in the Pacific, and President Roosevelt’s speeches referring to the United States as the “arsenal of democracy,” Chevrolet advertised its powerful and famously reliable engine the "Victory Six." Further heightening the 1941 Chevrolet line’s considerable appeal, the cars are renowned for their solid build quality and legendary durability. While many cars of the immediate pre-war era were used mercilessly or hot rodded and modified for drag racing or stock-car competition after the war, this 1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Business Coupe emerged unscathed from those fates. Thankfully retaining its factory-stock body and excellent flowing lines, the Chevrolet is a handsome and very mild custom, with complete new electrical wiring, upholstery, carpeting, and exterior paint. The period style pleated upholstery is particularly noteworthy with the addition of large white diamond patterns at all seat backs. The consignor reports that the chrome was recently restored during 2012. Riding nicely on a set of chrome wheels with “baby moon” hubcaps, the Chevrolet’s quality is confirmed by three First in Class awards.

1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Sedanca DeVille 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Sedanca DeVille

1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Sedanca DeVille

Lot #158 (Sale Order 51 of 110)

VIN: VT55 Chassis: 55TA Engine: VT55 Mileage: 44,242 The Rolls-Royce Phantom II was the third and last of the Rolls-Royce 40/50 hp models. This model replaced the New Phantom in 1929 and used an improved version of the Phantom I’s engine, and an all-new chassis. A “Continental” version with a shorter wheelbase and stiffer springs was also offered. Unlike previous 40/50 hp models, the engine of the Phantom II was bolted directly to the 4-speed manual transmission. The chassis of the Phantom II was entirely new. As on earlier 40/50 hp cars, the front axle was mounted on semi-elliptical leaf sprints, but, unlike these earlier models, the rear axle was also mounted on semi-elliptical springs instead of cantilever springs. Along with modifications to the drive train, these changes to the axel springs allowed the frame to be lower than before, noticeably improving handling of the vehicle. Only 1402 models of the Rolls Royce Phantom II were produced. This rare beauty was built for British actress and entertainer Gracie Fields in 1934. The car features a 468 CI/120 HP overhead cam inline 6-cylinder engine, manual 4-speed transmission, and Gurney-Nutting body. True to the styling of early 1930’s Rolls Royce Phantom’s, our model also has dual side mounts and Dunlap wire wheels. Featured in the movie Pancho Barnes (1988), this car is a blend of intriguing history, and mechanical beauty.

1966 Mercury Montclair 4-Door Sedan

Lot #168 (Sale Order 59 of 110)

275 HP For sale is a very nice 1966 Mercury Montclair. The engine runs very strong with no signs of oil leaks. The hydraulic brakes work well and the emergency brake functions. The car is a great driver! The ORIGINAL interior is also in excellent condition. There are no tears in the front and back seats, no faded upholstery, no chips off the steering wheel and no holes in the carpet. The dash looks great and complete with the original radio. An aftermarket stereo and intermittent windshield wiper has also been installed in the car. The exterior paint is heavily oxidized. There is some rust bubbling at the lower right rear quarter panel and a small dent with light surface rust on the trunk lid. Other than those items, the body seems to be pretty solid. All lights work except the tag light. All the windows are intact no cracks or chips and are fully functional. The vehicle does come with its original owner’s manual. The tread depth on the tires is approximately 8/32 in or more than half of new. The engine runs strong and the transmission shifts properly. Wipers, lights and accessories work. This is a nice driving car as it is and only needs a better paint job to be a sharp cruiser.

1961 Rambler American Convertible

Lot #169 (Sale Order 60 of 110)

1961 Rambler American 2-Door Convertible VIN# B294568 Mileage 73252 Engine 195.6 ci. In. Flathead 6 cylinder Transmission Automatic In 1961 the Rambler was an all-new design and American, for the first time since 1954, added a 2 door convertible to its lineup. There were 10,855 6 passenger convertibles produced. This sporty ‘61 Rambler Convertible would be a great project car. It has been repainted at some point and there appears to have been some body repair. The car looks pretty solid with no major rust-out showing. The original color of the car is listed as “Briarcliff Red” and although the car has been repainted at some point, it appears to be close to the original color with “custom” trim level. The top is in good condition. The power top does not operate but and we have not tried to diagnose the problem. The brakes need a complete rework. The wheel cylinders are leaking as is the master cylinder. The master cylinder is currently off the car and in a box inside the car. Although the car runs, due to the brake issues it cannot be driven. The engine runs good and the interior is in good condition with normal wear. It engine is missing the air cleaner. The car has an older paint job and it has some scratches and dings. A set of new tires is needed as they are different sizes.

1968 Lincoln Continental Deathmobile 1968 Lincoln Continental Deathmobile

1968 Lincoln Continental Deathmobile

Lot #170 (Sale Order 61 of 110)

Here is your chance to play the part of a fraternity brother from infamous Delta House. Impress your friends, dress up as your favorite Delta character and crash your local fraternity party and start a food-fight. In the film Animal House, the “Deathmobile” began as a beautiful Lincoln Continental but the car was beat by the Deltas and then recreated in the film by the frat brothers to make sure their expulsion didn’t go down without a fight. Havoc was wreaked as the reborn Lincoln Continental as the Deathmobile made its entrance in the last 5 minutes of the film. For auction is a REPLICA of the car known as “THE DEATHMOBILE” famous from the 1978 film, “Animal House” complete with turret and whistle (whistle works but not hooked up to air compressor). This car was not used in the film but is a full scale replica. It was made by a fan of the film as a faithful replica of the infamous car down to the trap door at the top of the turret and the recreated statue head of Emil Faber, the schools founder, as the hood ornament. The car appeared in car shows, museum displays, parades and has made public appearances. The car runs and drives. Most of the interior has been removed to accommodate the re-created turret; the front bench seat, steering wheel and dash are present. The car is painted flat black and some exterior portions of the replica construction needs freshening. Sale of the car goes to benefit LeMay-America’s Car Museum.

1958 Chevrolet Brookwood Wagon 1958 Chevrolet Brookwood Wagon

1958 Chevrolet Brookwood Wagon

Lot #173 (Sale Order 63 of 110)

Two-Tone Cruiser Rare Beauty Introduced in 1958 as Chevrolet’s mid-priced station wagon, Brookwoods were trimmed in line with Chevrolet’s mid-priced Chevrolet Biscayne models. The Brookwood offered for the 1958 model year was a 4-door station wagon, available in either six- or nine-passenger models. In 1959 Chevrolet eliminated its entry-level Delray series and the Biscayne became Chevrolet’s least expensive series. Tied to the Biscayne, the Del Ray Brookwood became the entry-level (and least expensive) wagon offered by Chevrolet. Brookwoods were now available in two- or four-door body styles, both in six-passenger configuration only. The two-door variant would become the basis for the new-for-1959 El Camino. Unlike the Brookwood, the El Camino could be ordered in trim levels corresponding to the entire full-sized car line including the Impala. This 1958 Chevy Brookwood wagon has had a deluxe two tone paint job which shows beautifully. It runs and drives fantastic. It has a very healthy 350 V8 and automatic transmission. It drives like a dream and is the perfect blend of good and evil. The rest-mod is subtle and tasteful.

1941 Chris Craft Utility Deluxe

Lot #175 (Sale Order 65 of 110)

This 1941 Chris Craft 18ft Utility Deluxe was purchased by its second owners, Donny and Rosie, in 1962. This wooden beauty was restored twenty years after its purchase in the 50’s by specialist Bruce Bronson of Bronson Boat Works out of Gig Harbor, WA. Throughout the restoration process close to $40,000 was spent in returning Donny’s Rose to its original glory. Since then, the boat has been stored in a heated facility and has only been taken out on the water a handful of times. Everything is in perfect working order and ready for the water. Being one of only 408 of these vessels built between 1940 and 1942, this Chris Craft is a truly unique and valuable addition to any collection. It is fully correct and features the twenty Chris Craft Marine motor. A delight to behold, she belongs with a new owner to create a new legacy for the next 50 years.

1985 Oldsmobile Toronado 1985 Oldsmobile Toronado

1985 Oldsmobile Toronado

Lot #183 (Sale Order 73 of 110)

This Toronado has had only two owners and has been well cared for mechanically and cosmetically. The car runs and drives very nice. The paint is showing its age but still looks very nice. The car is solid with no known rust issues and the only ding found is on the passenger door. The interior shows some wear but light compared to what you would expect of a 29 year old car. The steering wheel has some cracking but is covered by a steering wheel cover. The dash pad and rear shelf have been covered for most of its life. There were seat covers on the front seats so the wear on the cloth is minimal. The vehicle has carpet floor mats and the front has plastic mats on top of that. The a/c and heater work good as do the power windows. The power door locks don’t work but we have jumped the switches and the drivers lock operates. It may need both switches and probably a passenger door lock actuator replaced. The radio does not work but this might be a simple issue. It is a factory AM/FM/Cassette and the car’s original AM/FM radio comes with the car. Overall, this is a great car that is well cared for and just needs a couple of minor things to be in perfect working order.

1967 Ford Mustang 1967 Ford Mustang

1967 Ford Mustang

Lot #184 (Sale Order 74 of 110)

This 1967 Mustang had a great deal of mechanical and body work performed a few years ago. It was the owners High School project and he performed much of the work himself. Through the years, the car has been kept up mechanically but the body now has some rust issues. The engine runs strong, the transmission shifts properly; the steering feels good and the brakes work properly. The engine appears to be is a 1968 block but not sure if it is a 289 or 302 ci.in. or if it has been bored or had other internal upgrades. It does have an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor and an MSD distributor. On the inside, the driver seat needs to be recovered but other seats are in good condition. The carpet is a bit faded but in good condition and the dash pad has no cracks. The factory gauges and lights are in good condition and it has add-on gauges under the dash. It also has a working aftermarket radio. As for the body, the floor pans have been replaced at some point and appear to be holding up well. Both quarter panels and both doors have significant rust in them. There is also a rust spot in the trunk lid. Included with the car is a repair manual and two restoration books. This car is a good driver as is and could be a good project car to fix the cosmetic issues.

1971 Ford Mustang 1971 Ford Mustang

1971 Ford Mustang

Lot #185 (Sale Order 75 of 110)

For sale is a classic 1971 Mustang is a great candidate for restoration but the car seems to be a good driver car as it is. The Mustang was originally Light Pewter Metallic but was, at some point, painted Metallic Green. The paint is peeling in numerous places all over the car. The four tires are size P205/70R14 and have approximately 10/32 inch tread remaining so they are close to new. There is no spare tire or jack. This car has manual brakes and power steering. All lights and the horn work. The engine seems to run good with no abnormal noises and the transmission shifts properly. The interior is missing carpet and the headliner. The rear seat cover is ok, but both front covers need to be replaced. The dash pad has numerous cracks. Some of the interior plastic trim is missing. The Mustang came with factory air conditioning but it does not work. Compressor is in place. The coolant hose for the heater has been bypassed so the heater core might be leaking. The wheels are aftermarket, have some rust pitting and are missing some of the center caps. The original small center wheel caps come with the car and are in the trunk. The oil light has been disconnected and the sender removed. There is a mechanical gauge under the dash but it is not connected. There is a small dent in the right front fender, a scratch and small dent in the right rear quarter panel at the wheel opening and a larger dent in the left rear quarter panel. The only rust spotted was surface rust in the trunk and a rust hole in the trunk at the right front of the fuel tank flange. Donated to LeMay-America’s Car Museum for sale at the Lucky Spring Classic.

1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Coupe

Lot #196 (Sale Order 86 of 110)

This Ford Mustang Coupe is a low-mileage, numbers matching, Washington car and has had only three owners since new. The car has remained in the family since its purchase from the first owner approximately 20 years ago. It features a striking green exterior and two-toned green interior as well as a smooth automatic transmission and original numbers-matching engine. The Mustang runs and drives well and starts up with ease. Besides basic maintenance, it has remained true to its original, factory styling and form. Always a Pacific Northwest car, it is currently registered with the State of Washington. A beauty to behold.

1942 Hudson 4-Door Sedan 1942 Hudson 4-Door Sedan

1942 Hudson 4-Door Sedan

Lot #198 (Sale Order 88 of 110)

This Hudson was purchased on December 22nd, 1941 by the second owner, a young 19-year-old car enthusiast and has been owned by him ever since. The car was purchased from the first owner in Washington State and has remained a Washington car ever since. It is believed that the first owner was forced to sell the car when he was drafted for WWII. During his lifetime with the car, the previous owner drove the car to and from his job at Boeing until he was drafted in 1943. When he returned from the war, he continued to commute each day to his job in Boeing until the late 1970’s. Some modifications to the car include a new motor. The original motor was replaced in the late 1950’s with a 1953 Mercury V8. The car currently has its Mercury V8 along with a manual 3-Speed transmission with overdrive. Garaged and loved all of its life, this Hudson has recently been pulled from the car garage to be presented to all viewers and buyers at this year’s Lucky Collector Car Auction Spring Classic.
