In 1940 he enlisted in the military, serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Following the war Singer worked as a commercial artist and graphic arts photographer before devoting his life to painting full time in 1962. Working primarily in oil but also known for his watercolors, Singer's subject matter included carousels, figures, landscapes, seascapes and coastal scenes painted in a style he referred to as soft focus realism. Singer lived most of his adult life in Pennsylvania and New Jersey where he established himself as a regional artist. He was represented in galleries throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington D.C., and New York. Hal Singer died in 2003 at the age of 83. Active in late-19th, early 20th-century France, Henri-Joseph Harpignies did landscape painting that combined Realism with influences of the Barbizon School and Tonalism, especially the composition and coloration of Cámille Corot (1796-1875). Harpignies began his career in 1846, when he was 27 years old. He was born in Valenciennes to a family that ran a sugar beet factory. The mantle measures 50” wide and the Marble Lion Bases measure 39” tall, so when put together it measures approximately 41” tall. There are a few flea bites on the edges of the mantle. This carved inkwell is made from Jade, and is on an etched lilypad bronze stand. There are two carved jaguars on the outside of the inkwell. You can see all the natural striations of this piece, and there is a small part of the jaguar’s tail that has been broken off, along with some other fleabites on the carving of the inkwell. This piece appears to be marked on the bottom of the jade inkwell with an orange wax ink. There is an etched bronze like topper that goes on the inkwell, with a carved coral monkey glued to it. There is some visible red glue holding the coral monkey to the metal topper, where it appears to have been re-glued at some point. Atencio worked at Los Alamos Labs most of his adult life as a medical and technical illustrator, therefore he was not a prolific painter. He was a self-taught artist. "Atencio's strong sense of family and tribal responsibility has resulted in his seldom venturing from his native pueblo. He experimented with adaptations of his flat style painting." (Snodgrass) The artist believes in the traditional Indian ways and his favorite subjects were ceremonies, ceremonial figures, and scenes from Pueblo life. Much of his inspiration came from the stories his aunts told him about their lives. His style varied from the traditional flat style done early in his career to abstract paintings done in the 1980's. (Lester) Gilbert's artwork became so popular that the art world came to him. His pottery and paintings traveled far and wide, as evidenced by his exhibition and collections records. Gilbert loved to listen to his elders tell stories. He was profoundly impacted by their world view. His work reflected the oral history, traditional and cultural life of San Ildefonso Pueblo. Now is a great opportunity to own a rare shipwreck salvaged Silver Eight Reale Spanish Screw Press Bust Dollar Coin from the El Cazador Shipwreck, that was salvaged in the 2002 expedition. The Shipwreck That Changed America. On January 11, 1784, the Spanish Brigantine of War, El Cazador, sailed from Vera Cruz, Mexico, to New Orleans carrying 450,000 pesos of silver coins (today’s approx. value of $200 million). The King of Spain, Carlos III (1759-1788), had intended the coins on board to be used to redeem the nearly worthless paper currency that was then in circulation, in Spanish territorial Louisiana. The El Cazador never made her destination, when the vessel, crew, and cargo sank into the ocean, disappearing without a trace. The ill-fated treasure was to have stabilized the Spanish monetary system in colonial North America. After the loss, Spain’s North American Holding weakened severely. The King of Spain was forced to either sell or trade Louisiana. In 1800’s, a reluctant King Carlos IV (1788-1808), Conveyed Louisiana to France’s Napoleon. Three years later in 1803, Emperor Napoleon sold Louisiana to President Thomas Jefferson for $15 Million. With the loss of the El Cazador, the destiny of the United States was changed. 1998 Chrysler Sebring Convertible

This 1998 Chrysler Sebring Convertible vehicle is running, and the convertible top works along with the power locks, power windows, key fob and we did set off the alarm to make sure that works as well. Some issues did arise while running. White smoke is seen coming out of the exhaust when the accelerator is pressed. Low Oil Pressure light did come on when we left it running for an hour. Other issues include but are not limited to, missing antenna, and a post-it note left on the dash that reads “when car won’t start check fuse”. This Chrysler odometer reads 107551, and the Air conditioning is currently blowing cold. There is average wear and tear for a car of this age, to include dings, dents, scratches, wear to the convertible top. Antique Thomas Joy Stalham English Grandfather Clock from C. 1775

This Antique Grandfather Clock has a sticker on the interior from Hazel Clock Works dating it to C. 1775, and listed at a price of 1650 Bristish Pounds back in 1984. This fantastic piece measures at 7’3” Tall and 21” Wide, and is marked Thos Joy Stalham on the Original Hand Painted Porcelain Face. The clock case has wonderful inlaid parquetry and veneer, and the original glass front. There are two original crude lead cast weights that are very heavy on braided cotton cords. This clock comes with it’s keys, and pendulum, and clangs on the hour. This time piece keeps excellent time at 38 seconds/ per 48 hours. There is some wear to the Case, as shown in the photos, of older water damage to the lower portion of the case, and some veneer issues of raising and unevenness that could be refinished. Saint Joan of Arc, nicknamed The Maid of Orléans (French: Jeanne d'Arc, ca. 1412 – 30 May 1431) is considered a national heroine of France and a Catholic saint. A peasant girl born in eastern France who claimed divine guidance, she led the French army to several important victories during the Hundred Years' War, which paved the way for the coronation of Charles VII. She was captured by the Burgundians, sold to the English, tried by an ecclesiastical court, and burned at the stake when she was 19 years old. Twenty-five years after the execution, Pope Callixtus III examined the trial, pronounced her innocent and declared her a martyr. Vintage Jaeger Le Coultre Atmos Swiss Clock, Model 540

This Swiss made clock is a wonderful example of precision timekeeping, elegance and beauty in motion. The gearing is so perfect that it requires no lubrication. Oil would merely clog the mechanism. Its balance moves slowly and majestically, performing only two vibrations per minute. It hangs from a steel alloy wire that is as fine as a hair and yet stable and resistant, thereby keeping any loss of energy due to friction to a minimum. The hands must be perfectly balanced so that the small amount of energy available in the movement can ensure constant rotation. We have not attempted to test this clock, as we leave that to the new owner, but it appears to be in working condition. There are 2 Brass Weights, on a braided brass line, and it has a single chime on the half hour and hour. The Gorgeous Mahogany Colored Tall Case has the original glass and is in very nice condition with moderate wear for it’s age. This is an Exceptional Original Oil on Canvas by Renowned Artist Daniel Ridgway Knight (1839-1924), Signed “Ridgway Knight” and Dated “1884 Paris”. This Magnificent 19th Century piece measures approximately 18” x 25.5” without the frame. This piece has been viewed by several professional Art Dealers & Restorers, and their collective opinion is that the date of the canvas is consistent with canvas in the 1880’s time period. This piece was preserved and reframed in the 1950’s, when it was removed from the original stretcher and mounted onto a board, and reframed. At the time, it was preserved with varnish over the entire canvas, with the exception of the signature, and date, so that when you put the black light over them, you may verify that they are authentically period as dated. During this time period it was common place to preserve art in this fashion, and all of the experts that look at the piece feel that it is correct and authentic. There are minimal blemishes, and wear, as shown in the photos. Please view this piece in person to determine condition, and to fully appreciate the quality and beauty. An artist known for his depictions of serene, peasant female figures in bucolic landscapes with pristine lighting, Daniel Ridgway Knight was born in Philadelphia and became a student at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts from 1858 to 1861. He then studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts with academic painters Charles Gleyre and Alexander Cabanel and shared classes with Renoir and Sisley. In 1863, he returned to Philadelphia to enlist in the army during the Civil War. In 1871, he returned to France and settled in the town of Poissy to be near the renowned academic painter, Jean Louis Meissonier, who directed his artistic focus to peasant figures and influenced him with a richly detailed style of realism. By the mid 1870s, the idealized peasant figures became his signature expression, and his presentation contrasted greatly with the emerging realist movement in French art led by Jean-Francois Millet that focused on the hardships and poverty of rural people. From 1896, he maintained a studio outside of Paris in Rolleboise, and took his subjects from the surrounding countryside and local people. Now is a great opportunity to own a rare shipwreck salvaged Silver Eight Reale Spanish Screw Press Bust Dollar Coin from the El Cazador Shipwreck, that was salvaged in the 2002 expedition. The Shipwreck That Changed America. On January 11, 1784, the Spanish Brigantine of War, El Cazador, sailed from Vera Cruz, Mexico, to New Orleans carrying 450,000 pesos of silver coins (today’s approx. value of $200 million). The King of Spain, Carlos III (1759-1788), had intended the coins on board to be used to redeem the nearly worthless paper currency that was then in circulation, in Spanish territorial Louisiana. The El Cazador never made her destination, when the vessel, crew, and cargo sank into the ocean, disappearing without a trace. The ill-fated treasure was to have stabilized the Spanish monetary system in colonial North America. After the loss, Spain’s North American Holding weakened severely. The King of Spain was forced to either sell or trade Louisiana. In 1800’s, a reluctant King Carlos IV (1788-1808), Conveyed Louisiana to France’s Napoleon. Three years later in 1803, Emperor Napoleon sold Louisiana to President Thomas Jefferson for $15 Million. With the loss of the El Cazador, the destiny of the United States was changed. Vintage 1981 Stainless Finish Delorean Motor Company DMC Car

This beautiful Delorean runs well, and has a V6 engine. This has a standard 5 speed transmission with leather seats. This fantastic car has a stainless steel finish, and the doors work beautifully. There is some paint chipping on the front bumper. It does need full brake repair, new tires, and there is no spare tire where the space for one is. The owners have just replaced the fuel pump, fuel tank and door handle. There odometer reads 28,369 miles. There are extra keys, windshield wiper blades, and it has new locks, that need to be installed, for it but it needs the tool to install them. It does have A/C but we are unsure if it works. This car has been test driven, and appears to run well. We do have a clean title. We currently have the battery unhooked so that no one accidentally starts it and put it in gear, as there is currently no way to stop it. Antique English Oak Vanity Dressing Table with Mirror

This oak vanity measures 61 ½” tall from floor to top of the mirror and 47” wide and 21 ½” deep. The bottom drawer on the left side of vanity top is missing the back of the drawer, but you would never know this when the drawer is inserted, unless you pull it completely out. All of the drawers go in and out smoothly. The bottom two drawers under the vanity have a slight gap in between the bottom of the drawer and the front of the drawer. This vanity has casters on all of the legs. The mirror has an adjustable tilt. There are water marks and stains on the top of this vanity, consistent with it’s age. This Vintage Heywood Wakefield Mid-Century Modern Blonde Dresser is accompanied by a pair of matching nightstands. All of the moving parts on all of the pieces of the lot are fully functional. The dresser measures 34” x 42” x 20”, and has signs of average wear. There are minor scratches and abrasions throughout. On the frontal face of the drawers, the first drawer shows signs of scratching through the matte gloss finish in the center area, and scratches from continual use are found on the frontal faces of the other drawers. Stamped on the back are the markings: “FEB 27 1952”, “M521”, “INSP #10”, “PAT. NO. 2,126,916”, “4657/97”, and “CHAMPAGNE”. The Matching nightstands measure at 26” x 20” x 17”, and one has signs of drink rings, while the other one does not. Both have average signs of scratching and abrasions on the top and side portions. The top of one of the nightstands does have a small crack. On the back paneling of the nightstands there are signs of fraying along the lower portions. The stamp “CHAMPAGNE” is found on both nightstands and “4657/34”is found on one. These pieces all have good bones, but we would recommend that both pieces be refinished for the discerning collector. He is Bear Clan and was initiated into the Men’s Society where he received his Hopi name, Coochsiwukioma which means Falling White Snow. Honanie was named an Arizona Indian Living Treasure in 2006. Honanie was a founding member of Artist Hopid, a group of five Hopi artists who banded to work to educate the public to the values and identity of the Hopi people through various art media. Other members of Artist Hopid were Terrance Talaswaima, Milland Lomakema,Michael Kabotie and Neil David, Sr. The artists of this group are best known for paintings using vibrant colors inspired by murals from Hopi prehistoric sites. El Cazador Shipwreck Coin, Dated 1783, 8 Reale, Carlos III

Now is a great opportunity to own a rare shipwreck salvaged Silver Eight Reale Spanish Screw Press Bust Dollar Coin from the El Cazador Shipwreck, that was salvaged in the 2002 expedition. It is dated 1783, and comes with a COA. The Shipwreck That Changed America. On January 11, 1784, the Spanish Brigantine of War, El Cazador, sailed from Vera Cruz, Mexico, to New Orleans carrying 450,000 pesos of silver coins (today’s approx. value of $200 million). The King of Spain, Carlos III (1759-1788), had intended the coins on board to be used to redeem the nearly worthless paper currency that was then in circulation, in Spanish territorial Louisiana. The El Cazador never made her destination, when the vessel, crew, and cargo sank into the ocean, disappearing without a trace. The ill-fated treasure was to have stabilized the Spanish monetary system in colonial North America. After the loss, Spain’s North American Holding weakened severely. The King of Spain was forced to either sell or trade Louisiana. In 1800’s, a reluctant King Carlos IV (1788-1808), Conveyed Louisiana to France’s Napoleon. This Lovely Antique Rosewood Spinet Desk measures 37” wide x 32” tall x 18 ½” deep. There is a 1” piece of the pie crust edging missing from the left side of the desk, and the edging surrounding it is loose. The top cover of the desk is not attached to the desk currently, and we did not attempt to reattach, as there is a signature underneath. We will leave this to the new owner at their discretion, once they have viewed the signature. The reattachment would be a very simple fix, and in no way detracts from this lovely piece. When the lid of the desk is lifted, there is a slide out desk that can be pulled out. The base structure is a little wobbly and could use a bit of attention. There are 4 metal knob/screws under the desk that may be used to tighten something. This is an Original Numbered 11/90 Etching by Listed Artist Irving Amen of the “Dancers Dream”. This wonderful piece, framed, measures approximately 21” x 25”. Please view the photos of this fine piece of art. Irving Amen (b. 1918-d. 2011), Born in New York City, he began drawing at the young age of four. By the time he was fourteen years old, he won a scholarship to the Pratt Institute. He emulated Michelangelo's masterpieces and spent years perfecting his own unique style. From 1942 to 1945 he served with the Armed Forces. He headed a mural project and executed murals in the United States and Belgium. He had his first exhibition was at the New School for Social Research in New York and his second at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington in 1949. Amen studied in Paris in 1950. Upon his return to the United States, he had one man shows in New York and Washington DC. In 1953, Amen traveled throughout Italy. This resulted in a series of eleven woodcuts, eight etchings and a number of oil paintings. One of these woodcuts, Piazza San Marco #4 and its four woodblocks constitute a permanent exhibit of block printing in color at the Smithsonian Institution. Travel in Israel, Greece and Turkey in 1960 led to a retrospective show in Jerusalem. His art is widely owned and loved. Irving Amen has taught at Pratt Institute and at the University of Notre Dame. Commissions include a Peace Medal in honor of the Vietnam War and 12 stained glass windows for the Agudas Achim Synagogue in Ohio. This is a Rare W. Clauberg – Solingen Model 1840 Militia Sword in an all Brass Scabbard. There are significant fraternal markings on the sword and scabbard. The Ivory Scrimshaw grip is marked with a rendering of a bird, cross and “P.O.S. of A.” (Patriotic Order Sons of America). The blade is nicely etched including “Knights of St. James”, but does show considerable wear and some pitting towards the tip of the blade. The Scabbard has denting and a split, but remains fully intact with nice engravings of a crown, cross, and anchor. This piece is in good condition for its age. This piece is wired and lighted to a European Standard, and could be easily converted to American.
