Fee schedule: Antiques and transfers to be shipped are not to be charged a transfer fee. Local Transfer: $25 per firearm for local purchases for processing state and federal forms. Firearms will not be transferred to the states of California, New Jersey, Hawaii, or the cities of Chicago, Illinois, or New York City, New York due to severe restrictions and complex laws. All applicable state and federal forms and laws will be adhered to. Local purchasers are required to fill out the ATF 4473 (and WA FIR-652-001 for hand guns) as well as ATF multiple firearms form as applicable by law. Out of state purchasers are required to ensure that the firearm is legal in their state and that all state and federal laws are complied with in their state. Active duty military who do not have a valid Washington Drivers License are required to present a valid military ID and a copy of their current orders along with their state drivers license. Purchasers with a valid WA CPL are encouraged to bring this as it speeds up the transfer process by negating the requirement to call NICS to complete the background check.
