1957 was the year of the ?Fins?, a styling phenomenon that stretched across all manufacturers. Chrysler designers really took advantage of that styling opportunity by starting the fins right after the door jamb extending all the way to the rear peak of the car netting them Motor Trend Magazine?s ?Car of the Year? award. The Flying Mile winner at Daytona was again the Chrysler 300 C for the 3rd year in a row. This glamourous looking car came in two versions, a top of the line luxury car and ones with Ferrari like performance designated as ?Letter Cars?. Beginning in 1956 all ?Letter Cars? came with special red, white, and blue 300 medallions badging and two four barrel carburetors.
This legendary 300-C Coupe is presented here in its original colorful Gauquin Red exterior with tan leather interior and black accents. It is an older restoration that is in exquisite condition which is a testament to the level of the restoration. The convenience options include power bench seat, power windows, push button automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, dual exterior mirrors and 300 series cars only 150 mph speedometer. Under the hood of this 300-C is the new larger and more powerful 392 Hemi with dual quads. Wide white wall tires and factory painted deluxe wheel covers finish off the flashy appearance of this classic 50?s motoring icon. Here is an awesome car the exemplifies style and performance from the era of jet age design and is sure to transport the next owner back in time to the glory days of 50?s Detroit.
