This 911 Carrera was produced in February 1974 and comes with its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. The flat-6 cylinder engine got a bump in displacement for 1974. The 2.7L engine in the 911 Carrera was rated for 175HP at 5800RPM and 167lb-ft of torque at 4000RPM. The air-cooled engine sends power to the rear wheels through an optional 5 speed manual transmission in the rear transaxle. Macpherson independent torsion bar front and semi-trailing arm independent rear suspension with anti-roll bar and 4 wheel disc brakes provide confident road holding and stopping power for the just over 2300lb sports car. The 1974 911 Carrera had a top speed of 140MPH. Integrated bumpers and a front spoiler were new for US-market 911 models in 1974.
