1965 SHELBY COBRA CSX4000

This Cobra is a continuation series car built by Shelby American Inc. in Las Vegas NV. Shelby American started building these cars in 1995 to present. Not to be confused with replicas or a kit car this is a fully documented Shelby with a proper CSX number and a Manufacturers Statement of Origin and is signed by Carroll Shelby. Only a small number are built each year and each one is included in the official Shelby Registry. This CSX4000 is finished in Diamond Black over the fiberglass body and is powered by a 1960s period-correct Ford FE 427ci engine. This engines produces major horsepower on 91 octane gasoline. The engine block and heads are original cast iron produced by Ford. The transmission is a Tremec 5-speed manual produced with the highest-quality components and is true to the form and tradition of the originals.
