Riding on a set of upgraded chrome wheels it is powered by a 258ci 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission. It comes equipped with many CJ standards including a roll bar folding windshield fuel tank and transfer case skid plates low-drag front disc brakes solid state ignition steering damper and front sway bar. The CJ5 Renegade is bold and familiar in appearance and features the base CJ equipment plus special Renegade lettering and exterior graphics as well as an upgraded chrome front bumper. The interior features high-back pivoting front bucket seats and a rear bench seat.
