1957 CHEVROLET 3100 CUSTOM PICKUP

This frame-off custom-built pickup is powered by a 350ci crate engine equipped with a 2601 Edelbrock performer air GNP and carburetor backed by a 700R4 transmission with shift kit and 4-link rear suspension with Heidts coilover shocks. It has a rebuilt rear axle with a 3.42 ratio Heidts front with Mustang II IFS power rack & pinion steering and power front disc brakes. The laser-straight sheet metal is finished in custom-mixed yellow paint. The custom seat and console are covered with leather and suede with a Mercedes-type carpet. Interior features include SPW power windows Classic Instruments gauges Vintage Air heating and cooling American Auto wiring AM/FM/CD player and a USB receiver with built-in Bluetooth and Sirius module sound system. The restored box has specialty wood floor and stainless hardware with an aluminum rear gas tank. This custom pickup rides on 17 polished Billet Specialties custom wheels. It was the winner of Meguiars Magnificent Masterpiece Award at the 2014 Goodguys Southwest Nationals. A photo album and build receipts are included with the truck.
