U.S.A.” Caliber marking and rampant colt logo not present. In blue plastic safety box. With attached tag to triggerguard marked: GX-2306 (approx date 1949) Exp 9m/m “blowback” (She Mule). Mod O Short All Steel Fired 1000 shots. Unpleasant recoil. Breech opens Too fast, - can cause rupture. Travel of slide too short for reliable feed. Barrellug prevents more travel. Prime.” Condition: Very good to fine. 80% blue. Test and handling marks. Without magazine. Safety box of later date than pistol. Experimental prototype Commander pistol with steel frame, kept by factory. This modern firearm cannot be sold to a California resident who does not possess a Federal Firearms License.
