Rare WWII Japanese Army Officers Samurai Sword/Katana. This Sword Captured By WWII Vet And Brought Back As War Souvenir Per Family Of Estate. This Is Believed To Be An Older Katana Blade - Handmade Demascus Steel A Fine Example With Japanese Marking On Tang. It Is Mounted In Traditional WWII Fashion With Scabbard And Handle Blade Appears In Excellent Condition FOr Age And Use. Blade Is 32 1/2" Long Scabbard Is 37" Long. Handle Has "Menuki" Or Cherry Blossoms - The Traditional Japan WWII Army Symbol Scabbard Band Or "Semegane" And Suspension Mount Or "Shin-Gunt" Are Marked In Traditional Japanese WWII Army Officer Fashion And Are In Very Nice Condition. This Is Also True Of The Pommel Or "Kabutogane" Of The Sword. Have Detailed Adornments.
