The Paint surface is dry and original, the metal rocking mechanism is professionally made with large springs and attached to a substantial steel frame, in our research h we have learned this type was used on early Merry-Go-Rounds prior to the invention of the overhead crank mechanism to approximate a galloping motion, they were only in vogue a short time prior to invention of the overhead crank mechanism, Dimensions: Top of Ear to Metal Base 56 1/4", 64" from Longest Length, Approx 10.5 " Wide

Any gun manufactured from 1899 to today is considered modern guns and requires FFL authorization for shipping. The USPS has strict rules about mailing firearms, so Burnt Chimney Auction Gallery will ship all antique guns through the packaging service. All modern guns must be shipped by overnight service. All modern hand guns and long rifles must be shipped to a FFL Dealer. All guns must be signed for. Before Burnt Chimney Auction will ship your firearm purchases, we must have on file a copy of the FFL License for the dealer that the guns will be shipped to and we must be able to verify all information for that dealer is valid and verifiable with the ATF.
