Item Details
A large 4 1/4" Meadowood point made from Bayport Chert with attractive bull’s-eye pattern to one side. Recovered in Michigan. Also a 4 3/8" Adena Point crafted from Bayport Chert with attractive bull’s-eye fossil inclusion to both sides. Recovered in the late 1800's by "Trapper Bill”, south of the town of Belleville near the Huron River in Wayne County, Michigan. Walterspaugh.

Rowlands Relics, Ltd. screens for authenticity, and has endeavored to accurately describe all merchandise listed, but all property herein offered for sale is strictly “as is, where is”, and it shall be the bidder’s responsibility, whether bidding in person, by mail, by phone or through Proxibid to determine the age, condition, quality, provenance, size, variety and importance of each item.
Rowlands Relics, Ltd. will consult with and assist any customer to determine the suitability for purchase of any item prior to the sale. All merchandise is open to public inspection - please call for an appointment. Rowlands Relics, Ltd. will facilitate the procurement of a second opinion from a neutral party for any item prior to the sale - please call to make the necessary arrangements. Rowlands Relics, Ltd. and participating consignors invest many hundreds of dollars to certify artifacts prior to entry into any given sale. If you require a COA, please bid on items that have a COA. If you require a COA from a specific Authenticator, please bid on items that have a COA from the desired authority.
A small number of items in any given sale may carry an owner reserve.
