Item Details

This new in the box LMT (Lewis Machine & Tool) LM308MWSE semi-automatic is a one of a kind rifle with the "31 Heroes Project/Extortion 17" logo engraved on the receiver. The LMT LM308MWSE 7.62x51mm rifle/carbine operates via direct gas impingement and has been adopted by the British Army. The purpose of the LMT is to provide British military forces with a 7.62mm semi-auto “sharpshooter” weapon enabling designated marksmen to accurately and reliably engage targets out to 800 yards. Magazine capacity is 20 rounds, which allows for a lot of fast follow-up shots against fast-moving enemy targets, including vehicles. The British Army found the LMT .308 MWS MRP battle rifle to be both more accurate AND more reliable under military combat test conditions than the HK 417. It features a MWS .308 upper receiver with 16" chrome-lined 1:10" twist .308 barrel, standard semi-auto bolt carrier group, tactical charging handle assembly, LM308MWS lower with SOPMOD buttstock, two-stage trigger group, ambi selector and ambi mag release. Complete weapon ships with a sling, operator's manual, tactical adjustable rear sight, tactical front sight, (1) twenty-round magazine, (2) heavy duty push button swivels, torque wrench/driver and (3) rail panels. Donated by LMT with a manufactures suggested wholesale price of 2,859.96. Current backlog is 30+ weeks.
