W. W. Greener factory demonstrator or "try" gun, serial #46612. The gun shows 28-1/8" Damascus pattern barrels that are browned with a case hardened action. Nearly all the original finish remains on the barrel, justtoning slightly; 30-50% case hardening on locks, 30-50% thinning blue on trigger guard and floor plate and plate at bottom of action. The gun shows standard extractors, the bores are excellent, the gun is chokedcylinder right, full left. The stock is in good condition with some minor dings, mars and handling; an original butt plate is retained and the gun shows Greener type side safety and double triggers. Stock is fullyarticulated and adjustable and a key is used for adjustment, which is also included. The barrel shows address W. W. Greener, 68 Haymarket, London with W. W. Greener on each side of action. The action is tight, thebores are excellent; the gun is choked cylinder right, full left; and shows black powder proofs. A good collector's item and also very practical for dealer use. Est.: $2,500-$5,000
