U.S. Springfield percussion rifle, .58 cal., 39-1/2” barrel, bright finish, wood stock, ramrod and sling swivels, lockplate dated 1863. This gun is in overall very good condition showing a grey patina to metal surfaces, very good bore, crisp action, sharp markings, good wood stock with some scattered old nicks and mars from storage; two visible inspector cartouches on the left side of the stock above the trigger assembly; would improve with a careful cleaning and oiling. Est.: $700-$1,400.
