W. W. Greener 12 gauge Crown Grade G – 60 double barrel SxS shotgun, serial number 55142. The gun shows 30 1/16” barrels and is 46” overall. The right barrel measures .08 and is choked for improved cylinder and left barrel is choked .18 and choked for modified with original 2 ¾” chambers. The stock measures 14” to the end of the hard rubber recoil pad and 13” to the end of the wood. The stock shows a slight cast off of ½” at the toe and ¼” at the heel.. The wall thickness measures .26 right and .30 left barrel. The barrels retain approximately 90% to 95% original blue slightly thinning and drifting at the edges with some minor scratches. The markings and engraving on the breech along with address and “Sir Joseph Whitworth fluid compressed steel” markings are very sharp and also Greener address of 66 Haymarket extremely sharp and crisp. The frame is beautifully engraved with chiseled fences and there is a gold inlaid crown on the release lever with gold letters safe.
