Item Details
Civil War issue Spencer carbine, .52 caliber rimfire, 22” barrel, serial #33424. The carbine remains in very good condition with 30-50% original blue on barrel drifting to brown with some light to moderate scattered erosion and pinprick pitting, some slightly heavier pitting at the muzzle. The frame shows traces of case hardening within a patina with some scattered light to moderate erosion and some hints of color. The stocks are good plus with a few chips, dings, mars, etc. and a faint outline of a cartouche. The markings are good and sharp, small parts all retained, bore good and shows some use. Refer Flayderman 9B-086. A far better than average Spencer carbine in its unaltered Civil War state. Est: $1,500 - $3,000
