Item Details
Mauser Model 98K Nazi era issued military rifle in very good original condition, breech dated 1941with to letter fancy initial makers code which may be C.B. The breech shows a full complement of Nazi proofs along with Eagle and number 37. The metal surfaces show 50% to 70% original thinning and toning military blue finish with just some light natural aging and beginning erosion with slight pitting. The stock is very good plus with dings, mars and scratches. No evidence of cartouche or numbers in the stock. The bolt and exterior parts are all matching. The action is good and the bore is bright near fine. No import marks. A very nice model 98 Mauser which our consignor felt was issued to the Luftwaffe but we can find no evidence to that being a fact. Est.: $600-$1200
