In addition to several bed chambers and 5 sitting rooms, the house includes a music room with alcove for piano and harp, painting gallery with 15 gilt-framed "paintings" and faux-marble paneling, garden room with statuary, banquet room with alcove and wall-size tapestries, Turkish bath, and an exceptional library with faux-book filled shelves and mezzazine. There are 11 glass chandeliers that suspend from decorated ceilings; 4 ceilings feature domes with elaborate paintings, There are four sets of elaborately paneled doors, a number of wall-height mirrors with extraordinary gilded frames in various motifs, four sets of richly paneled doors, parquet or marble floors, and more than 60 pieces of superb furniture in the 18th century French style including richly canopied beds, recamiers, vitrines, secretaires, library book ladders, curio cabinets, chairs and many more unique pieces including a velvet-covered dog bed copied from an original French piece. The following Terms of Sale and Guarantees are the only terms and conditions by which all lots are offered for sale. 1. All items are sold “as is”. Descriptions of the items will endeavor to include condition reports, comments, and attributions as to maker and date of origin, but failure to include such description, or any part of such description, or error in attribution, does not constitute a right to return the item.
