Winchester Model 1873 rifle. Manufactured in 1887, no FFL required.
Chambered in 32 WCF (.32-20), third model, round barrel and crescent butt. Front sight appears to be a very old Marbles ivory bead replacement. Original rear sight with elevator in nice shape. Original wood with honest wear and no cracks, slight slivering next to bottom tang. Good wood to metal fit, especially at the tangs and receiver. Little or no bluing remaining on the metal. Metal may have been lightly buffed a long time ago and has since been turning patina. Magazine, action and firing functions work well. Still has fully functioning dust cover. Great trigger pull. 24-1/4" barrel. All rifling visible in the bore; no rust, but some radial pitting, scratches and lead fouling. Bore would benfit from a good cleaning. Antique, letterable western gun that's 125 years old!
