Made by Emmy Storholm. This is a mystery quilt. That means that each month the quilter is given a portion of the directions to complete before the next month; quilters are not given a picture of the quilt nor the name of the quilt. They are told how much yardage they need of various dark, medium, and light fabric (just for the top). Quilters buy new fabric or use from their own "stash", which is what Emmy did. It is challenging, but instructional. Emmy says "this quilt has a mistake, obvious only to a few because of the subtleties of the colors and the "scrappy look" of the quilt. I did not see the mistake until after downloading the picture of completed quilt. Human error. Amish quilters purposely put an "error" in their quilts because only God is perfect. This one received a 3rd place ribbon at the last county fair; I think the judges noticed. "
