Item Details

This vehicle has all original body panels and we did a frame off restoration on this 100% rust free Alabama car Exterior Body: Original paint got stripped down to bare metal. This vehicle had no holes or rot no welding of metal was needed. The metal work and paint was done by HQ Customs they had featured few cars in magazines due to their excellent workmanship. Painted with triple black with of colors paint enamel. Moldings and Chrome: The front and rear bumpers also the grill was left in original condition we did not want to rechrome due to process not being as superior as original. Parts were very rare to get for this car what was not available new, we refurbished and refinished a lot of the moldings. Everything chrome was replaced or redone as needed. Glass: Only the front windshield was replaced due to being cracked. The other glass is still original we wanted to replace it but was not available. This car is different than an Impala so parts do not fit, that is why we kept a lot of parts and had them refurbished. Frame: Full frame off restoration every nut and bolt is replaced and torque to specs. Frame was bead blasted, primed and painted. Our Bel Air came equipped from factory with the heavy duty Canadian full boxed frame which is stronger than the channeled frames that some came with. Brakes: We converted to power disc brake system with dual master cylinder for safety. Plus with the restoration it got everything was replaced with new brake lines, clips, drums, wheel cylinders etc. Drive train: Fresh rebuild 350cid with Four (4) bolts main. Very street able and power full engine. Fresh rebuilt 350 turbo transmission with heavy duty clutches and bands, torque converter is 2200 rpm stall. Differential is 373 posi trac also fully rebuilt. Exhaust: Hooker headers connected to brand new custom Two (2) and half flow master full exhaust system. Interior: Brand new interior includes carpeting, headliner, door panels, new seats front and rear, door handles, weather stripping, etc. Interior: done by a well known high end interior shop, they are very well known in hot rod magazine circles and have their work featured in them. Radio has new updated system also we added a GPS system were the ashtray was on dash. Wheels: American torq thrust aluminum polished wheels. 15x8.5 rears and 15x7 fronts. This vehicle is equipped with a very rare factory a/c system which works perfectly! This vehicle is a complete turnkey needs nothing just sit and drive. It has less than 500miles since its completion. We took almost Four (4) years to complete the project because we took our time and did it right no short cuts. All work was done professionally and by a Master Certified Technician which is the owner and very detailed oriented and it had to be done right no exceptions.
