SERIAL NUMBER: 220122 DESIGN: Semi-automatic pistol with two magazines (one magazine is numbered #220122). 3-1/2" barrel. Marked "Abt. Sommerda" and "P.A.L.. Memel No. 1". Pistol is stamped with Imperial proof marks. There are “Crown / N” Nitro proof marks on the left side. Stamped "LG" for the Prussian Landgendarmerie. Manufactured by Rheinische Metallwaaren & Maschinenfabrik (RM&M, later known as Reinmetall). Year of Manufacture: 1912-1918 (Production on this model started in 1908 and ceased after WWI, with a total production in excess of 254,000. This would put the approximate date of manufacture as 1911 but the proof mark was not used until 1912.) MATERIAL/FINISH COMPOSITION: Blued steel. FEATURES: Matching parts. Modern rifle and shotgun purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and be eligible to purchase firearms. C&R lots will convey to C&R FFL holders per Federal regulations. Buyers are responsible for compliance with the laws of the state in which they reside. Applicable fees for non-licensed Pennsylvania residents to be paid at the time of check-out include a $2.00 PICS fee and a $3.00 per gun Pennsylvania State surcharge fee.
